The purpose of this study is as follows; First, this study developed the instruments of measurement to measure the quality of HAS(information quality, system quality, and service quality). Second, this study investigated statistically perception differences of the quality by t-test between hotel employees in Jeju and those in Seoul. The hypotheses were developed from reviewing the former literatures and tested empirically. The Questionnaires were collected from 214 middle or higher managers at deluxe hotels located in Seoul and Jeju during February 13 to March 10,2004. This study was conducted using frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, and t-test by statistical packages of SPSS SPSSWIN version 10.0. The results of this study showed that hotel employees in Jeju perceived positively the quality of HAS than those in Seoul.

This paper discusses practical uses of the Black-Scholes formula or, more generally, the Black-Scholes Partial Differential Equation, as a tool for hedging an options portfolio. In those process, there are several parameter Delta, which is the derivative of the option value with respect to change in the price S of the underlying asset, Gamma, which is the derivative of the Delta with respect to S, Theta, which is the derivative of the option value with respect to the time, Vega, which is the derivative of the option value with respect to the volatility, and Rho, which is the derivative with respect to the short-term interest rate.

<P>Doping effects in devices based on two-dimensional (2D) materials have been widely studied. However, detailed analysis and the mechanism of the doping effect caused by encapsulation layers has not been sufficiently explored. In this work, we present experimental studies on the n-doping effect in WSe2 field effect transistors (FETs) with a high-k encapsulation layer (Al2O3) grown by atomic layer deposition. In addition, we demonstrate the mechanism and origin of the doping effect. After encapsulation of the Al2O3 layer, the threshold voltage of the WSe2 FET negatively shifted with the increase of the on-current. The capacitance–voltage measurements of the metal insulator semiconductor (MIS) structure proved the presence of the positive fixed charges within the Al2O3 layer. The flat-band voltage of the MIS structure of Au/Al2O3/SiO2/Si was shifted toward the negative direction on account of the positive fixed charges in the Al2O3 layer. Our results clearly revealed that the fixed charges in the Al2O3 encapsulation layer modulated the Fermi energy level via the field effect. Moreover, these results possibly provide fundamental ideas and guidelines to design 2D materials FETs with high-performance and reliability.</P>

<P>We tried to optimize the BaSnO3 (BSO) doping content in GdBa2Cu3O7-δ (GdBCO) coated conductors (CCs) on CeO2-buffered ion-beam assisted deposition (IBAD)-MgO templates. The BSO-doped GdBCO CCs with various x vol% ( x=0, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) relative to GdBCO were prepared at 800°C with the oxygen pressure of 300 mtorr by pulsed laser deposition (PLD), and their pinning properties were characterized by measuring magnetic hysteresis curves for the applied field parallel to the c-axis of GdBCO (B//c) up to 5 T and field-orientation dependence of transport critical currents for 1, 3, and 5 T at 65 and 77 K, respectively. Among all samples, a 5 vol% BSO-doped GdBCO CC exhibited the highest maximum pinning force density (Fp,max) values of 32.5 GN/m3 near 4 T at 65 K and 6.5 GN/m3 near 3.2 T at 77 K, for B//c (θ = 180 °), and also the highest minimum transport critical current density (Jc,min) of 0.39 MA/cm2 at 77 K in 1 T and 0.68 MA/cm2 at 65 K in 3 T, for θ = 120°, evidencing that 5 vol% is the optimum BSO content. Observation of BSO-doped GdBCO CCs by transmission electron microscopy revealed that the effective flux pinning of BSO-doped GdBCO CC was attributed to the BSO nanorods of ~ 10-nm diameters roughly aligned along the c-axis of the GdBCO matrix.</P>

<P>We report a successful fabrication of GdBa2Cu3O7-delta (GdBCO) coated conductor on the ion-beam assisted deposition (IBAD) MgO template with a new buffer layer of BaZrO3 (BZO). The BZO films were deposited on the IBAD-MgO template at various substrate temperatures (T-S) and oxygen partial pressures (PO2) by pulsed laser deposition (PLD). In the broad ranges of T-S and PO2, all BZO layers showed almost uniform in-plane texture (Delta phi of similar to 6 degrees), implying that BZO is an attractive buffer layer. The surface roughness of BZO layer was sensitive to PO2 but not to T-S. On the optimally processed BZO buffer layer with 5.1 nm RMS roughness, GdBCO coated conductor deposited at T-S of 750 degrees C and PO2 of 400 mTorr exhibited Delta phi of 4.4 degrees, T-c,T-zero of 90.3 K, and J(c) of 1.35 MA/cm(2) (77 K, self-field).</P>

Hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS) is the most common cause of acute renal failure in young children. It is classically characterized by the triad of microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and uremia. Further, not only is intussusception one of the differential diagnoses of HUS but it may also become a complication during disease progression. We report a case of HUS. preceded by intussusception in a previously healthy 17-month-old boy. The patient presented at the emergency department with bloody stools that developed the day after reduction of intussusception. HUS was diagnosed 4 days after the reduction of intussusception. The patient was provided only supportive care and his laboratory test findings were normal at discharge.

Amyloidosis is defined as the presence of extra-cellular deposits of an insoluble fibrillar protein, amyloid. The pulmonary involvement of amyloidosis is usually classified as tracheobronchial, parenchymal nodular, or diffuse alveolar septal. A single nodular lesion can mimic various conditions, including malignancy, pulmonary tuberculosis, and fungal infection. To date, only one case of nodular pulmonary amyloidosis has been reported in Korea, a case involving multiple nodular lesions. Here, we report and discuss the case of a patient having single nodular amyloidosis.

Background: Angiographic stenosis of a jailed side-branch ostium is usually observed after single-stent crossover at coronary bifurcation lesions. But the severity of stenosis is mostly overestimated due to the limited information of 2-dimensional morphology by angiography. We sought to evaluate the actual stenosis of jailed side-branch ostium by a 3-dimensional (3D) optical coherence tomography (OCT). Methods: With 3D reconstructions of OCT data, minimal lumen area (MLA) and eccentricity of jailed side-branch ostium were analyzed in 41 patients who were treated with single stent crossover at coronary bifurcation lesions and underwent serial OCT follow-up. Results: MLA of jailed side-branch ostium calculated from quantitative coronary angiography (QCA) assuming a circular lumen markedly decreased after stent implantation (from 1. 73±0. 19 mm2 pre-intervention to 0. 85±0. 14 mm2 post-intervention, p<0. 01). However, MLA of jailed side-branch ostium measured by 3D-OCT (2. 66±0. 27 mm2) was signifi cantly larger than that by QCA (p<0. 001) at post-intervention. There were no statistically signifi cant changes of MLA of jailed side-branch ostium by 3D-OCT measurements during the follow-up (2. 35±0. 23 mm2 3-6 months post-intervention; 2. 44±0. 19 mm2 1-2 years post-intervention, p = 0. 098). Shapes of jailed side-branch ostium were almost ellipse (mean eccentricity index: 2. 97±0. 19 post-intervention; 2. 79±0. 18 3-6 months post-intervention; 2. 59 ±0. 16 1-2 years post-intervention). Conclusions: Compared to 3D-OCT measurements, QCA measurements overestimated the jailed side-branch ostial stenosis after single stent crossover due to eccentric morphology from orthogonal projection in coronary angiography. The signifi cant changes of MLA of jailed side-branch ostium by 3D-OCT were not observed during the follow- up.
