<P>We demonstrate the fabrication of solvent-resistant, mechanically robust, superhydrophobic nanofibrous mats by electrospinning of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) in the presence of inorganic silane materials. The solvent resistance and mechanical strength of nanofibrous mats were dramatically increased through the crystallization of as-spun PVDF fibers or incorporation of a tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) sol into the nanofibrous matrix. The electrospun nanofibrous mats yielded a water contact angle of 156° that did not vary with TEOS content. The solvent resistance and mechanical robustness of the electrospun mats were significantly enhanced through extensive cross-linking of TEOS, even after short PVDF annealing times. <P>A method employing silicone oil density centrifugation, solid-phase extraction (SPE) cleanup, and LC-ESI-MS/MS analysis was developed for the rapid, selective, sensitive, and quantitative detection of an intracellular pool of short organic acid-CoA esters in actinomycetes. The detection limit was determined to be approximately 0.8 pmol (1.2 ng/ml) for each standard CoA-ester analyzed by the present LC-ESI-MS/MS method. A selected ion chromatogram for a typical fragment ion (m/z 428) specific to CoA-esters enabled the detection of eight intracellular CoA-esters involved in both primary and secondary metabolisms. The application of this method to bacterial metabolomic study is demonstrated by the profiling of the intracellular CoA-ester pools in the wild-type Streptomyces venezuelae strain producing polyketide antibiotics (methymycin and pikromycin), a polyketide synthase (PKS)-deleted S. venezuelae mutant, and a S. venezuelae mutant expressing the heterologous PKS genes. By quantifying the individual CoA-esterlevel in three different genotypes of the S. venezuela e strain, further insight could be gained into the role of CoA-estersin polyketide biosynthesis. This analytical approach can be extended to the quantification of the size and composition of in vivo CoA-ester pools in various microbes, and can provide a detailed understanding of the relationship between the in vivo CoA-ester pool and the production of pharmaceutically important polyketides. 감자유전자 StACRE의 분리 및 풋마름병 저항성 기능 검정

Ralstonia solanacearum (Rs)에 의해 유발되는 풋마름병은 감자 재배 시 발병하는 주요 병 중의 하나이다. 감자에서 풋마름병 저항성관련 유전자를 찾기 위해 기존에 기능이 알려진 다른 가지과 작물의 기능 유사 유전체를 이용하여 StACRE (HM749652) 유전자를 분리하고 염기서열을 분석하였다. 분리한 StACRE의 발현양상을 분석하기 위해 병 저항성 유도 신호전달 물질인 SA와 풋마름병원균 Rs (KACC10722)를 처리한 감자에서 RNA를 추출하여 RT-PCR을 실시한 결과 이 유전자는 SA 처리에 의해 3시간 후부터, Rs에 의해서는 12시간 후부터 발현이 현저하게 증가하였다. 따라서, 감자에서 이 유전자의 생물학적인 기능을 분석하기 위해 Gateway System을 이용하여 과발현용 vector를 만든 후 과발현 형질전환 감자를 제작하고 풋마름병균인 Rs를 접종하여 병 저항성 기능을 검정 한 결과 대조구인 수미 감자에 비해 병 저항성이 증대하였다. Bacterial wilt (brown rot) caused by Ralstonia solanacearum (Rs) is one of the most devastating bacterial plant diseases in potatoes. To isolate bacterial wilt disease resistance-related genes from the potato, the StACRE (HM749652) gene was isolated and a sequenced search was performed using functional orthologs of Solanaceae from potatoes. StACRE is homologous to the tobacco NtACRE 132 protein and belongs to the ATL family involved in ubiquitination. To analyze the expression pattern of this gene, RT-PCR was performed with potato treated with salicylic acid (SA) and Rs (KACC 10722). StACRE was strongly induced 3 hours after treatment with SA and 12 hours after infection with Rs. To investigate its biological functions in the potato, we constructed a vector for overexpression in the potato by the Gateway system, and then generated transgenic potato plants. The gene expression of transgenic potato was analyzed by northern blot analysis. In the results of disease resistance assay in relation to bacterial wilt, StACRE overexpressed transgenic potato plants were shown to have more resistance than wild-type potato.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We report on a molecularly tailored 1:1 donor–acceptor (D‐A) charge‐transfer (CT) cocrystal that manifests strongly red‐shifted CT luminescence characteristics, as well as noteworthy reconfigurable self‐assembling behaviors. A loosely packed molecular organization is obtained as a consequence of the noncentrosymmetric chemical structure of molecule <B>A1</B>, which gives rise to considerable free volume and weak intermolecular interactions. The stacking features of the CT complex result in an external stimuli‐responsive molecular stacking reorganization between the mixed and demixed phases of the D‐A pair. Accordingly, high‐contrast fluorescence switching (red↔blue) is realized on the basis of the strong alternation of the electronic properties between the mixed and demixed phases. A combination of structural, spectroscopic, and computational studies reveal the underlying mechanism of this stimuli‐responsive behavior.</P>
Review on improving measurement of cyber terror management system

Damage and attack size of cyber terror is growing to the national size. Not only targeting at a certain companies or individuals but number of cyber terror targeting government bodies or unspecific people is increasing. This is because compared to traditional weapon, input cost is very cheap but ripple effect and shock are much stronger, affecting not only certain groups but also each individuals. 'Anti-terror measurement for protection of nation and public safety' passed last month is one of the renowned measurement passed regardless of objection from opposition party. The opposition party went against this through filibuster for 192 hours but this finally passed National Congress due to lack of oppositions. Korean government is taking post actions after passage of anti-terror measurement. Legislation of enforcement ordinance and regulations is due by 6th of next month. This regulation will be executed from June 4th after legislation. Whenever there is any security issues such as hacking of Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power and National Intelligence Service happens, lot of attention is made to those hackers. However, social recognition or management of those hackers need lot more improvement. Especially, as market of internet of things is increasing, there is an increased anxiety on information security. But as we only rely on security solutions, this problems are keep happening. Therefore, active investment on nurturing hackers who play the role of 'spear and shield' shall be made. Government should put more efforts to allow white hackers to show their abilities. We should have a policy for supporting high-quality programs such as BoB. To make information protection industry into future growth engine, it is necessary to nurture professionals for information protection and white hackers through special programs. Politicians should make related regulations as soon as possible to remove factors that prevent swift management of cyber attack due to lack of legislation. Government should pay lot more financial investment to nurturing professional manpower than now. Protecting life and asset of nation is responsibility and duty of our government. We all should recognize that controlling cyber attack is a part of national defense.
A study on legal improvement on Online P2P financial loan

Along with the recent growth of Fintech industry and low interest rate basis, one of the alternative investment technique for expecting higher investment profit, P2P loan using P2P financial system is greatly increasing. P2P loan can be referred to as a type of Crowdfunding that the law of Crowdfunding (adopted to revised Capital Market Act) enacted on January 25th 2016 only allows investment type Crowdfunding so that it can be used as a tool of raising fund for startup and venture companies. Also, it is true that Korean government could not make any legislative foundation related to P2P loan. At this moment, those online platform companies mediating P2P loan are not included as financial companies, expected to cause various legal arguments. Financial Services Commission has released a guideline in February of this year saying that limit of P2P loan is 10 million Korean Won per arbitrating company and 5 million Korean Won per borrower. However, what is more important is to make a law supporting this institutional system. If legislation on P2P loan is implemented without care, it may disturb growth of the field but it may result in the damage of investors if not clearly defined by law. As this is the case, first, "revision of execution regulations for loan business" should take place as soon as possible to intensify inspection of loan companies by registering them to Financial Services Commission. Second, saving customer fund separately in the their organization. Third, making law on protecting investors such as regulating exaggerative advertisement. Fourth, to have transparent and fair public announcement system, standardized agreement and guideline describing clear understanding on autonomous public information publication of P2P loan online platform business and information on the borrower.
Enhanced Flavonoid Production in Streptomyces venezuelae via Metabolic Engineering

Metabolic engineering of plant-specific phenylpropanoid biosynthesis has attracted an increasing amount of attention recently, owing to the vast potential of flavonoids as nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. Recently, we have developed a recombinant Streptomyces venezuelae as a heterologous host for the production of flavonoids. In this study, we successfully improved flavonoid production by expressing two sets of genes predicted to be involved in malonate assimilation. The introduction of matB and matC encoding for malonyl-CoA synthetase and the putative dicarboxylate carrier protein, respectively, from Streptomyces coelicolor into the recombinant S. venezuelae strains expressing flavanone and flavone biosynthetic genes resulted in enhanced production of both flavonoids.
