The coexisting wireless body area networks (WBAN) is a very challenging issue because of strong inter-networks interference, which seriously affects energy consumption and spectrum utilization ratio. In this paper, we study a power control strategy with nearest neighbor nodes distribution for coexistingWBAN based on stochastic geometry. Using homogeneous Poisson point processes (PPP) model, the relationship between the transmission power and the networks distribution is analytically derived to reduce interference to other devices. The goal of this paper is to increase the transmission success probability and throughput through power control strategy. In addition, we evaluate the area spectral efficiency simultaneously active WBAN in the same channel. Finally, extensive simulations are conducted to evaluate the power control algorithm.

Based on an orthogonal function system over triangular domain, V-system, decomposing orthogonally a moving system with multiple moving objects into V-series, motion state of this moving system at different moment can be expressed in the frequency domain. To make full use of the advantage of the V-system, the capability to precisely express a 3D object group, each moving object is represented by a triangular mesh model, and then the energy curve data for the moving system is calculated by determining the coefficients of the V-series. The energy curve can be applied to the state analysis of the moving system. The relationship of energy curves of a moving system with different triangular mesh resolutions is analyzed. The experiment results show that there exist no strong dependence between energy curve and the resolution of 3D model, so when performing spectral analysis for a moving system, we can choose the model with low resolution, so that the computation can be reduced and the analysis efficiency can be improved. Finally, the mathematic relationship between energy of a moving system and some related variables is obtained by processing a large number of experimental data using the linear regression method. The characteristic of this study is reflected in the whole expression of a 3D model group, and the objects in the group are in motion.

<P>BACKGROUND: Probiotics can serve as alternatives to antibiotics to increase the performance of weaning pigs, and the intake of probiotics is affected by dietary nutrient density. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of a probiotic complex in different nutrient density diets on growth performance, digestibility, blood profiles, fecal microflora and noxious gas emission in weaning pigs. RESULTS: From day 22 to day 42, both high-nutrient-density and probiotic complex supplementation diets increased (P < 0.05) the average daily gain. On day 42, the apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of dry matter, nitrogen and gross energy (GE), blood urea nitrogen concentration and NH3 and H2S emissions were increased (P < 0.05) in pigs fed high-nutrient-density diets. Pigs fed probiotic complex supplementation diets had higher (P < 0.05) ATTD of GE than pigs fed non-supplemented diets. Fecal Lactobacillus counts were increased whereas Escherichia coli counts and NH3 and H2S emissions were decreased (P < 0.05) in pigs fed probiotic complex supplementation diets. Interactive effects on average daily feed intake (ADFI) were observed from day 22 to day 42 and overall, where probiotic complex improved ADFI more dramatically in low-nutrient-density diets. CONCLUSION: The beneficial effects of probiotic complex (Bacillus coagulans, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus subtilis and Clostridium butyricum) supplementation on ADFI is more dramatic with low-nutrient-density diets. Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a deadly malignancy with regard to mortality and prognosis, and the 5-year survival rate for all patients diagnosed with ESCC remains poor. A better understanding of the biological mechanisms of ESCC tumorigenesis and progression is of great importance to improve treatment of this disease. In this study, we demonstrated that the glutathione metabolism pathway is highly enriched in ESCC cells compared with normal esophageal epithelial cells in an in vivo mouse model. In addition, treatment with L-buthionine-sulfoximine (BSO) to deplete glutathione decreased the ESCC tumor burden in mice, thus demonstrating the critical role of glutathione metabolism in ESCC progression. BSO treatment also led to decreased cell proliferation and activation of cell apoptosis in ESCC. Finally, BSO treatment blocked NF-kB pathway activation in ESCC. Our study reveals a new pathway that regulates ESCC progression and suggests that inhibition of glutathione metabolism may be a potential strategy for ESCC treatment

Size Wu,Ruixia Nan,Yueping Li,Xiaojing Cui,Xian Liang,Yanan Zhao 대한초음파의학회 2016 ULTRASONOGRAPHY Vol.35 No.3
Purpose: The aim of this study was to measure the elasticity of normal placentas using the VirtualTouch quantification (VTQ) technique. Methods: This study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee. Fifty randomly selected, healthy pregnant women in their second trimester and 50 randomly selected, healthy pregnantwomen in their third trimester with a single fetus were included, and their placentas underwentVTQ through shear wave velocity (SWV) measurements. The measurements were performed atdifferent locations to sample different areas of the placenta. Measurements were performed 3-4times in each location, the mean shear wave velocities were calculated without the highest andlowest values of measurements in each region, and the results were compared. Results: The SWV of the placenta was 0.983±0.260 m/sec, and the minimal and maximal speedwas 0.63 m/sec and 1.84 m/sec, respectively. There was no significant difference between thesecond and third trimester of VTQ of the placenta in terms of SWV (0.978±0.255 m/sec vs. 0.987±0.266 m/sec, P=0.711). The maternal age between second and third trimester was27.9±4.3 years and 29.2±4.4 years, respectively; there was no significant difference betweenthem (P=0.159). Conclusion: The results of this study show that the SWV of normal placenta tissue is 0.983±0.260m/sec, it has little variation between the second and third trimesters, and the VTQ technique maypotentially play an additional role in placenta evaluation.
Multiwavelets over a Triangular Domain
Jian Li,Ruixia Song,Xiaochun Wang,Dongxu Qi (사)한국CDE학회 2010 한국CAD/CAM학회 국제학술발표 논문집 Vol.2010 No.8
Employing barycentric coordinates, this paper propose a kind of orthogonal muliwavelet over a triangular domain, called V-system. The V-system consists of not only smooth functions but also functions with discontinuities. Finitely terms of the V-system can exactly represent the geometric objects which can be expressed by a piecewise polynomials. Since barycentric coordinates are a fundamental tool for dealing with the case of triangles, and the expressions of the basic functions of the V-system in baycentric coordinates have short support, orthogonality, symmetry and vanishing moments, so the system is more concise and convenient to be used to realize orthogonal decomposition for the complex geometry models in CAGD. Especially, the geometry model composed of several separate parts can be exactly reconstructed, which can’t be realized by other continuous wavelets. The orthogonal decomposition provides theoretic fundament for feature extraction and further classification and shape retrieval. Experiment results show that this method is feasible and easy to use, and it worth being extended.
Vanadium phosphorus oxide catalyst: Progress, development and applications
Muhammad Faizan,Ruirui Zhang,Ruixia Liu 한국공업화학회 2022 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.110 No.-
With the increasing awareness of carbon neutrality, the global warming issue has been well addressed forthe reduction of carbon emissions into the atmosphere. Enormous amounts of carbonaceous gaseousbyproducts have already been released into the atmosphere especially after the start of industrial revolutionin the last century. Most industrial processes releases low carbon alkanes directly into the environment. Among them petroleum refinery units generate low carbon alkanes especially n-butane as gaseousbyproducts. In recent decades, n-butane has been used as a reagent to generate important valuable chemicalssuch as maleic anhydride with the support of vanadia catalysts. The complex vanadium phosphorusoxide exists in the nature in almost fifteen different phases. Each one has distinguished structural morphologyand chemical composition, and exhibits particular physiochemical characteristics such as surfaceacidity, lattice oxygen, surface oxygen, valance state, P/V ratio, V+4/V+5, surface to lattice oxygen ratio, etc., which are highly dependent on the precursor preparation and catalyst activation conditions. Researchers believed that either the addition of various promoters/cocatalysts/metals-dopants, or introducingnew preparation techniques such as microwave irradiation, ultrasound, ball milling, barothermal, calcination, sol–gel method electrospinning, hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis can be used forthe improvement of the catalytic selectivity and activity. Aforementioned different aspects are describedin the current review along with the description of reaction kinetics and reaction mechanism. Additionally, we have also highlighted the important industrial issues such as air/n-butane pretreatment, deactivation, water supplement, phosphorus supplement, and the strong exothermic reaction, which areinfluencing the overall catalytic performance.
