The paper is based on data collected from the Amazon website (specific in the Handmade's Category) to understand and analyze Vietnamese artisans' business context. Data analysis is also applied to determine the factors that bring success Handmade products and compare products of the same industry among competitors to find out potential products. By collecting data from Amazon and analyzing the data, we extracted useful information for online business developers. Besides, the list of potential products in Handmade sector can be referred to improve the business and compete with competitors. This paper also proposes solutions to help Vietnamese products become more appealing to international customers on the Amazon website.

In the context of the need to ensure appropriate signalling of the publication of high-quality, international-calibre publications in Vietnam, as well as new policies to improve the quality and effectiveness of scientific research in Vietnam, it is practical to investigate the possibility of developing a national open access database (NOAD). This study aims to answer the question of whether it is necessary to establish a NOAD in Vietnam. We used document analysis to evaluate issues related to NOADs. The results of this study show the complexity, lack of consistency, and difficulty in obtaining practical statistics and assessing research and scientific records in Vietnam today. Furthermore, the findings of this study imply that it is necessary to establish a NOAD of scientific research in Vietnam. The information in this report can be used to develop a NOAD for Vietnam in particular, and for any country that lacks one in general.

The study was carried out to investigate the factors affecting the online purchase intention of Vietnamese consumers, focusing on Generation Z (Gen Z), through the information provided on TikTok - a social media network. Besides, the study evaluates the influence of these factors on the intention to purchase online of Gen Z. Most important; the research aims to help businesses better understand the insight of their consumers. The data were collected from 250 people who were born in the 1995 to 2010 period, living in the South of Vietnam. The study was conducted from December 2021 to March 2022 and used two analytical methods, which are exploratory factor analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. Research results show that there are 4 factors of TikTok advertisements that affect the purchase intention of Gen Z consumers, including information, entertainment, trust, and social interaction, and they all have a positive impact on the online purchase intention. In which the information factor has the most significant impact on the online purchase intention of Gen Z consumers. Based on the research results, recommendations are made to help businesses that have sold or intend to sell products via TikTok, improve the effectiveness of advertisement through the TikTok channel.
Determinants Influencing Tax Compliance: The Case of Vietnam
NGUYEN, Thi Thuy Du'o'ng,PHAM, Thi My Linh,LE, Thanh Tam,TRUONG, Thi Hoai Linh,TRAN, Manh Dung Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.2
The purpose of this paper is to ascertain the key factors affecting tax compliance among Vietnamese firms in Vietnam. We employ both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Qualitative research has been carried out through focus group discussions with ten chief accountants and tax officers. Quantitative research has been conducted through interviews with 200 firms (chief accountants or financial directors) in Vietnam. Analysis of the model includes the following stages: (i) Cronbach's test for reliability of the scale, (ii) exploratory factor analysis (EFA), (iii) confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and (iv) structural equation model (SEM). The results of the research show that voluntary tax compliance is directly affected by the three factors of audit probability, corporate reputation and business ownership. The probability of audit and severity of sanctions have the strongest impact on tax compliance. Therefore, the tax authorities need to strengthen the inspection of tax declarations, tax payments and tax refunds of firms. The paper confirms that enforced tax compliance is directly affected by the three factors of audit probability, sanction severity and social norms. Voluntary compliance and compulsory compliance have an effect on tax compliance, though voluntary compliance has a more powerful impact.
Growth-promoting Effect of Alginate Oligosaccharides on Rhodobacter sphaeroides

Rhodobacter sphaeroides has been well-known for its strong contribution to environment, medicine, food, and cosmetic industry. Here, we first reported the growthpromoting effects of an alginate oligosaccharide mixture (AOS) on R. sphaeroides. AOS exhibited a stimulatory effect on the growth of R. sphaeroides in a dose-dependent manner. The highest growth rate of R. sphaeroides was obtained in LB medium supplemented with 0.5% AOS. AOS exerted a selective growth-promoting effect on R. sphaeroides but not on Escherichia coli, Lysinibacillus xylanilyticus, and Pantoea rwandensis. The growth-promoting effect of AOS is influenced by light and may be involved in the up-regulation of fbp2, RSP-0557, and RegB genes. Our results collectively suggested that AOS should be employed as a growth-promoting factor to enhance the transition of R. sphaeroides to industrial applications.

Banking and finance is a broad term that incorporates a variety of smaller, more specialized subjects such as corporate finance, tax finance, and insurance finance. A virtual assistant that assists users in searching for information about banking and finance terms might be an extremely beneficial tool for users. In this study, we explored the process of searching for information, seeking opportunities, and developing a virtual assistant in the first stages of starting learning and understanding Vietnamese to increase effectiveness and save time, which is also an innovative business practice in Use-case Vietnam. We built the FIBA2020 dataset and proposed a pipeline that used Natural Language Processing (NLP) inclusive of Natural Language Understanding (NLU) algorithms to build chatbot applications. The open-source framework RASA is used to implement the system in our study. We aim to improve our model performance by replacing parts of RASA’s default tokenizers with Vietnamese tokenizers and experimenting with various language models. The best accuracy we achieved is 86.48% and 70.04% in the ideal condition and worst condition, respectively. Finally, we put our findings into practice by creating an Android virtual assistant application using the model trained using Whitespace tokenizer and the pre-trained language m-BERT.

Jeju Black-Swine (JBS) is attractive to consumers due to its unique characteristics such as tenderness, supercilious taste, and high-quality meat. Because of its slow growth, JBS has been faced with losing genetic sources. The bacterial microbiome plays an important role in the health and immunity of the host. Here, we determined the response of the microbiome community from sixteen pigs in feedback to alternative feeding additives composing of Rhodobacter sphaeroides, Lactobacillus, and AOS. Through 16S rRNA gene sequencing high-throughput approaches, a total of 970 different operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were achieved. 17 phyla, 19 class, 43 order, 78 family, and 205 genera shared via all samples. Firmicutes (55.35%), Bacteroidetes (28.51%), Spirochaetes (10.77%), and Proteobacteria (4.31%) were observed as the four most predominant phyla. Whereas Firmicutes was statistically decreased and Spirochaetes was increased in R. sphaeroides fed group compared to control and others. The effective changes in taxonomic composition could be useful for the next findings. Our results provided an insight into the dynamic of the microbiome to R. sphaeroides, Lactobacillus, and AOS supplementation; it could be promised of potential applications for probiotic and prebiotic.
