        Effects of Gratitude on Social Relationship have been argued in many psychology literature. And although the marketing practical and academic evidence is currently limited, we thinks, customer's gratitudes from salesperson may directly influence marketing performance. Our study has two goals. The first is to test the mediator of gratitude and the other is to find the causes and effects of gratitude between consumers and employees. To do that, this study practiced focus group interview, in-depth and expert interviews. The results are like these; Consumers feel gratitude toward employees when they try to understand customer's need and wants, manage their affect, and provide additional information, trust, humanism, surprising service and sympathy. These can summarise sincerity, emotional sympathy, trust and surprising service. Consumers who feel gratitude show brand loyalty, such as repurchase and positive mouth, provide feedback, allow employee' mistakes, and act prosocial.

        자궁경부 상피내종양의 치료로서 환상투열요법 시행 후 잔류병변의 예측인자

        N/A Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine whether unexplained elevation of second- trimester maternal serum beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG) is associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes. Method : Between January 1998 and December 1999, we evaluated 2112 pregnant women undergoing second trimester triple marker screening test who delivered at our hospital. Inclusion criteria were singleton pregnancy, confirmed gestational age, and hCG level greater than 2.0 MoM. The exclusion criteria were fetal anomaly, abnormal karyotype, MSAFP level greater than 2.0 MoM, uE3 level less than 0.4 MoM, and referred patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH). A group of randomly selected women with normal maternal serum hCG and AFP levels served as control. Results : Women with unexplained elevation of hCG level showed increased risks for PIH (p<0.001) and preterm delivery (p<0.003). There were no significant diffrences between study and control groups with respect to placental abruption, fetal distress, PROM, intrauterine fetal death, and apgar score. Conclusion ; Pregnancies with unexplained elevation of hCG levels should be regarded as high-risk pregnancies and managed accordingly. The combination with these biomarkers such as VEGF, plasminogen activating factor I and AT-III as a screening test for PIH may be useful.

        공력 및 RCS 해석 기반의 순항 유도탄 최적설계

        순항 유도탄은 비행기처럼 날개와 제트엔진을 사용하여 상당 거리를 순항한 후 최종 목표에 도달하는 유도탄이다. 적의 레이더에 쉽게 포착되지 않을뿐더러 아음속 장거리 순항이 가능해야 하므로, RCS 저감과 향상된 공력성능을 고려한 통합 설계가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 Taurus 유도탄과 유사한 순항 유도탄 모델을 설계한 후, Physical Optics (PO; 물리적 광학) 기법과 Navier-Stokes CFD 코드를 사용하여 비행체의 RCS와 공력특성을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 공력성능 향상과 RCS 저감 기술이 적용된 순항 유도탄의 최적 형상을 도출하였다. A cruise missile uses wings and a jet engine like an airplane to reach the target after cruising a considerable distance. An integrated design of a cruise missile based on radar cross section (RCS) reduction and enhanced aerodynamic performance is indispensable, since it must be able to fly long-distance at subsonic speed without being detected by enemy radar. In this study, we designed a Taurus-type cruise missile and analyzed its RCS and aerodynamic characteristics using the physical optics (PO) technique and the Navier-Stokes CFD code. As a result, we obtained the optimal shape of cruise missile with improved aerodynamic performance and reduced RCS.

        In many industrial processes and operations, such as power plants, petrochemical industries and ships, shell and tube heat exchangers are widely used and probably applicable for a wide range of operating temperatures. The main purpose of a heat exchanger is to transfer heat between two or more medium with temperature differences. Heat exchangers are highly nonlinear, time-varying and show time lag behavior during operation. The temperature control of such processes has been challenging for control engineers and a variety of forms of PID controllers have been proposed to guarantee better performance. In this paper, a scheme to control the outlet temperature of a shell and tube heat exchanger system that combines the PID controller with feedforward control and anti-windup techniques is presented. A genetic algorithm is used to tune the parameters of the PID controller with anti-windup and the feedforward controller by minimizing the IAE (Integral of Absolute Error). Simulation works are performed to study the performance of the proposed method when applied to the process.

        Reverse flow in a square duct with an obstruction at the entry

        In this paper, the reverse flow in a square duct with an obstruction at the front (which is a square plate), is investigated using particle image velocimetry (PIV). The gap g between the obstruction and the entry to the duct was systematically varied, and it was found that maximum reverse flow occurs around a g/w value of 0.75. The velocity vectors, vorticity plots, and other details described indicate that the flow field is different compared with the two-dimensional channel case.
