        A Study on the Regulations Concerning the Purchase Related Decision Making Factors of Interest in Beauty according to the Cosmeceutical Perception of the Tendency for Practical Consumption

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine and understand what factors influence the consumers with their practical consumption related tendency to purchase the cosmeceutical products. Method: In this study, the practical consumption related tendency, cosmeceutical perception, and the pur-chase decision making factors were measured as the dependent variables. Results: As a result of the significant study conducted on the purchase related decision making factors, first, it was confirmed that the consumers’ tendency for the practical consumption only during the discounted sales period or they make purchases by comparing the type, price, and the quality of the brands they are interested in. Second, as for the interest in beauty, the UV rays are more related to the skin aging(83%) than the need to consume the beauty related food(69.2%), and the appearance-oriented consumers responded that they are will-ing to undergo cosmetic surgeries if they need cosmetic surgeries(8.8%). Third, the perception of cosmeceuticals demonstrated the preference for natural cosmetics(68.1%) and the scientific evidence(65.9%). Lastly, the decision to purchase cosmeceuticals demonstrated the importance in the order of all ingredients(88.7%), effective-ness(87.6%), eco-friendliness(87.2%), stability(86.8%), and mental effects on the fragrance(84%), respectively. The direct, indirect, and the total effects of cosmeceutical perception were significant as the purchase related decision making factors according to the interest in beauty, and the correlation analytical result and the confirm-atory analysis of the research model were significant as a positive(+) relationship. Conclusion: As a result of such study conducted, cosmeceutical is a word which divides the quality of functional cosmetics, and the producers need to form a market which could commercialize and provide the customer needs, and according to the consumer preferences, capacity, fragrance, ingredients and efficacy, and correlation with skin, the originality and value of the study may be recognized since it has derived the implications for the development of cosmeceutical products which may be positioned through the studies.

        기술사업화 성공요인이 경영성과에 미치는 영향: R&D 투자 및 혁신성과를 중심으로

        본 연구는 기업의 기술사업화 성공요인이 R&D 투자, 혁신성과, 그리고 경영성과(시장성과, 재무성과)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 했다. 또한, R&D 투자, 혁신성과가 경영성과(시장성과, 재무성과)에 미치는 영향력을 함께 살펴보기로 했다. 더불어, 기술사업화 성공요인이 경영성과(재무성과, 시장성과)에 미치는 영향에 있어, R&D 투자, 혁신성과가 매개효과를 보이는지에 대해서도 함께 분석했다. 따라서 본 연구는 기술사업화 성공과 실패를 모두 경험한 기업(한국에 위치한 중견기업, 대기업)만을 한정한 후, 설문조사를 진행(기업 당 1부씩 설문 조사)했고, 수집된 유효한 설문지는 총 150개 기업으로 나타났다. 이렇게 수집된 기업 표본을 바탕으로 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시했고, 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술사업화 성공요인은 R&D 투자에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 혁신성과에도 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 기술사업화 성공요인은 재무 성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 그리고 시장성과에도 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, R&D 투자는 재무성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 그러나 혁신성과는 재무성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, R&D 투자는 시장성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 혁신성과도 시장성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 다섯째, 기술사업화 성공요인 → 혁신성과 → 재무성과의 경로에서 완전 매개 효과를 보였다. 그리고 기술사업화 성공요인 → R&D 투자 → 시장성과의 경로에서 완전 매개효과를 보였다. The following research was conducted to explore how the success factors behind commercializing technology influences R&D investment, innovative accomplishments, and business performance (market performance, financial outcomes). This research was also carried out to discover the extent to which R&D investment and innovative accomplishments influences business performance in terms of market performance and financial outcomes. Analysis was conducted while finding the effects of success factors for commercializing technology to confirm whether investments in R&D and innovative accomplishments acted as a driving force/mediator. Therefore, the scope of this research was limited to strong medium corporations and conglomerates within the Republic of Korea that had experienced success and failure while commercializing technology, and a questionnaire survey was conducted (one per corporation). Amongst the questionnaire surveys collected, a total of 150 corporate questionnaires were valid. A structural equation modeling analysis was conducted based on the corporate samples that were collected, and the findings are as follows: First, the success factors behind commercializing technology statistically had a significant positive (+) influence on R&D investment and innovative accomplishments. Second, the success factors behind commercializing technology statistically did not significantly influence financial outcomes or market performance. Third, investments in R&D statistically did not show a significant influence on financial outcomes, but innovative accomplishments had a statistically significant positive (+) influence on financial outcomes. Fourth, statistically, R&D investments and innovative accomplishments both had significant positive (+) influence on market performance. Fifth, the success factors behind commercializing technology had a powerful mediating effect as the driving force when it was succeeded by innovative accomplishments, thus leading to financial outcomes; conversely, if the driving force was succeeded by R&D investment, market performance followed.
