This study aims to enhance the tensile yield strength ( TY ) and impact strength ( IS ) of PC/PMMA blends to apply for optical elements by means of an experimental investigation and optimization technique. Three blends with different weight fractions of PC (i.e., 20%, 50%, and 80%) are investigated. The influence of process factors [i.e., melt temperature ( T Me ), mold temperature ( T Mo ), cooling time ( t C ), and packing pressure ( P P )] with three levels for each factor on TY or IS responses is considered based on the Taguchi method. One and multiple response optimization are designed to aim that investigated blends reach the highest TY and IS . The experimental data is collected based on Taguchi L 9 orthogonal array, and the signal-tonoise ratio is used as an objective function for data analysis. The results demonstrated that verification values have the same tendency as Taguchi-based predicted values. Verification results for the optimal sets of factors of one-response optimization showed significant improvement of IS while TS is enhanced by around 4%. The improvement of TY and IS values of the multi-response optimization is approximately half the one-response approach result.

This study intends to analyze the impact of the country of origin on the intention to ingest COVID-19 vaccinations by measuring Vietnamese people’s perceptions of India in the manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines. The research is done using a quantitative method, and primary data was obtained using a conventional manner based on the willingness of the research respondents, who are Vietnamese persons aged 18 and up, to contribute information. The findings revealed that perceived brand association and perceived brand quality directly positively impact the COVID-19 vaccine’s consumption intention and willingness. Meanwhile, while the perceived country image component has no direct effect on consumption intention, it does have a positive indirect effect on consumption intention through perceived brand linkage and perceived brand quality. The findings also emphasize the importance and significance of a country’s image in brand association and quality perception. The study’s findings imply that to increase consumers’ willingness to buy India’s COVID-19 vaccination, the country should develop communication initiatives to improve consumer perceptions of the country’s image, the perceived value of the brand association, and brand quality.
Computational Approach to Estimate Functional Significance of Stenotic Lesion of Coronary Artery

Computed tomographic (CT) angiography often overestimates the significance of stenotic lesion of coronary and it leads to a need for functional diagnostic measurements. Currently, invasive pressure-wire-based fractional flow reserve (FFR) is becoming the standard of reference for assessing the physiological significance of coronary stenoses in clinical decisions regarding revascularization and exhibits favorable outcomes in identifying the ischemia-causing stenosis. A noninvasive approach for FFR prediction based on computational fluid dynamics with CT angiography was developed. Since the hemodynamic conditions in distal vascular beds highly affects the coronary flow structures, it is necessary to incorporate zero-dimensional (0D) lumped parameter network (LPN) model for coronary microvascular flow by coupling with 3D CFD simulation. This demonstrated high diagnostic and prognostic accuracy with a reduction of adverse events. MPI parallel algorithm based on domain decomposition method was applied for the 3D-0D coupled model of coronary flow dynamics simulations in a monolithic approach. In this paper, we introduce the development of clinically practical computational tool to estimate physiological significance of stenotic lesion of coronary with aims of accelerating clinical outcomes, basically by bench to bedside approach.

관상동맥 협착병변 심각도에 대한 기존의 혈관 협착률 기반 진단인자의 제한된 정확도로 인하여 최근 생리기능성 진단인자의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 가장 대표적인 혈류역학 기반 생리기능성 진단인자인 심근분획혈류예비력(FFR)과 벽전단응력(WSS)가 일반적으로 협착병변의 여러 형상 특성인자에 의해 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 잘 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 협착병변의 다양한 형상특성인자를 고려한 혈관 모델을 설계하고 다중스케일 CFD 시뮬레이션을 수행한 후, FFR 및 WSS값과 협착병변 형상특성인자의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 기본적으로 혈관 협착률이 FFR과 WSS값에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 협착률이 높을수록, 협착부 형상(shape)의 영향이 커짐을 확인할 수 있었다. Due to the limited diagnostic accuracy of conventional evaluation by stenosis degree for coronary stenotic lesion severity, physiology-based functional indices have recently received much attention. Fractional flow reserve (FFR) and wall shear stress (WSS) are the most representative indices. These hemodynamics-based indices are closely related to blood flow characteristics downstream of stenosis which is greatly affected by the geometric features of stenosis. In this study, we considered major geometric features of stenotic lesions and investigated the correlation between the functional indices and the lesion-specific geometrical parameters by carrying out multi-scale CFD simulations. Lumen diameter reduction rate has the largest effect on the physiological indices and the effect of lesion shape becomes greater as the stenosis degree rises.

The functional significance rather than conventional evaluation by geometric lumen area reduction of coronary stenosis has recently received much attention. Hemodynamics based diagnostic parameters such as fractional flow reserve (FFR) and wall shear stress (WSS) are most representative physiological indices for identifying lesion severity. Previous studies demonstrated superior performance of FFR and WSS to identify ischemia-causing coronary stenosis. These hemodynamic parameters are closely related to blood flow characteristics downstream of stenosis which is greatly affected by geometric shape of stenosis. Although the in vivo geometry of stenosis is irregular and complex, we extracted major feature geometric parameters and investigate the effect on the FFR and WSS. In this study, we carried out 3D computational fluid dynamics simulations for coronary artery models with considering various stenosis geometric parameters and performed correlation analysis.

A combination of Polycarbonate (PC) material and Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), fabricated using an injection molding machine, has been investigated to determine its advantages, as studied in Ref. 1). This paper aims to investigate the optimization of PMMA/PC blend for both tensile yield strength and impact strength. Furthermore, interaction effects of process conditions on mechanical properties including tensile yield strength and impact strength of PMMA/PC blend by injection molding process are interpreted in this study. Tensile and impact specimens are designed following ASTM, type V, and are fabricated by injection molding process. The processing conditions such as melt temperature, mold temperature, packing pressure, and cooling time are applied; each factor has three levels. As a result, in comparison with optimization of separated responses, mechanical properties of PMMA/PC are found to decrease when optimizing both tensile and impact strengths simultaneously. The melt temperature is found to be the most significant interaction parameter with the mold temperature and packing pressure. In addition, there is more interaction between the mold temperature and cooling time. This investigation provides a useful understanding of the control of injection molding processing of polymer blends in optical application.

Purpose: The is study aimed to examine the impact of consumer ethnocentrism on reasoned action and brand equity on Generation Z in Vietnam. Research design, data and methodology: A quantitative study was undertaken on 302 Generation Z members. The data for the study was collected using a Google Form-based questionnaire from December 2021 to January 2022. Descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s alpha, and structural equation modeling were among the data analysis techniques employed. The results: The results show that consumer ethnocentrism has a direct positive impact on reasoned action (subjective norms and attitude toward domestic goods) as well as an indirect positive impact on brand equity, including brand awareness, brand quality, and brand image. Major findings: According to the findings of this study, governments should continue to push propaganda and advocacy programs, call for national pride and encourage home consumers to support and use domestic goods. Domestic brands must strengthen their ties to the community and invest in community-oriented programs that promote domestic consumption. Vietnam’s domestic fashion brands need to promote the exploitation of community-oriented and nationalistic content to call on domestic consumers to support them to consume domestic brands.
The Effect of the Country of Origin on Brand Trust: A Case Study for COVID-19 Vaccines in Vietnam

Many factors influence brand trust, including manufacturer prestige, product value and quality, country of origin, media marketing, experience, and brand relationship. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of the nation of origin on brand trust, using Vietnam as a case study for India’s COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 407 Vietnamese people aged 18 and up participated in the survey. The findings of the study show that the nation of origin has a significant impact on brand trust. Specifically, the perceived country image has a negative effect on brand trust, the other two components of the country of origin are perceived value and perceived quality of product have a positive impact on brand trust in India’s COVID-19 vaccine. Research results show that if the perceived country image of the country of production is perceived negatively, then there will be a negative impact on brand trust. According to research findings, people in Vietnam who are 30 years old or older, have steady occupations, know about India, have used Indian products in the past, and have strong brand trust in India’s COVID-19 vaccinations. India needs to boost its country’s image and develop communication to increase brand trust in Vietnam.

The self-assembled oxidized carbon nanotubes (oCNTs) with the silane functionalized hexagonal boron nitrides (oCNTs@fBN) via electrostatic interaction were used to improve the thermal conductivity while maintaining the electrical insulation properties of the epoxy composites. The oCNTs were separately immobilized on the edges of hexagonal boron nitride (hBN), which prevent oCNTs from continuously contacting with each other. The thermal conductivity and volume resistivity of oCNTs@fBN filler loaded epoxy composites were measured and compared with the epoxy composites with a filler of hBN, a mixed filler of oCNTs, and silane functionalized hBN (fBN). The thermal conductivity of the epoxy composites containing 20wt% of oCNTs@fBN10 was 1.26 W·m-1·K-1, which is higher than 600% compared to that of neat epoxy and the volume resistivity of the epoxy composites was in an insulation region even at high content of oCNTs@fBN filler. The significant improvement in thermal conductivity was attributed to the formation of linkages between oCNTs and fBN and the good compatibility of oCNTs@fBN in the epoxy matrix.
