      • Finite-time Robust Simultaneous Stabilization for Two Nonlinear Descriptor Systems Subject to Disturbances

Meiqing Li,Liying Sun 제어로봇시스템학회 2018 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2018 No.10

This paper studies the finite-time robust simultaneous stabilization problem for two nonlinear descriptor systems subject to disturbances by using state undecomposed method. By virtue of a suitable output feedback, a sufficient condition is first given to guarantee the closed-loop system impulse-free. Then, an augmented descriptor system is combined with the two systems subject to disturbances by using the system-augmentation technique. Furthermore, the L₂ gain of the descriptor system is no more than via constructing a suitable output feedback H∞ controller, and when w = 0, the augmented descriptor system is proved the finite-time stabilization, which can guarantee the finite-time simultaneous stabilization of the two nonlinear descriptor systems subject to disturbances. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results in this paper.

Clonal Spread of Carbapenem Resistant Acinetobacter baumannii ST92 in a Chinese Hospital during a 6-Year Period

        Lei Huang,Liying Sun,Yan Yan 한국미생물학회 2013 The journal of microbiology Vol.51 No.1

The carbapenem resistance rate of Acinetobacter baumannii in our hospital has increased steadily since 2004. The molecular epidemiology of carbapenem resistant A. baumannii (CRAB) clinical isolates was characterized by multilocus sequence typing (MLST) and rep-PCR in parallel, with pandrug susceptible A. baumannii (PSAB) used as control. MLST was performed to determine the sequence types (STs), and eBURST algorithm was used to analyze their relatedness. Carbapenem resistance related genes (oxa-23, oxa-24, oxa-51, oxa-58, imp, vim, and adeB) were screened using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. 23 STs were identified in the 65 included isolates, with ST92 being the predominant clone. PSAB clustered into more singletons than CRAB. The positivity of oxa-23 and adeB correlated with high level carbapenem resistance (MICIPM>32 mg/L, MICMEM >32 mg/L) of CRAB ST92 isolates in 2009, which was different from the resistance pattern (MICIPM≤4 mg/L, 8 mg/L ≤MICMEM≤16 mg/L) of CRAB ST92 isolates in 2004. These observations suggest that clonal spread of CRAB ST92 isolates longitudinally is the possible reason for carbapenem resistance rate increase and correlate with high level carbapenem resistance in our hospital.

Optimal disc cutters plane layout design of the full-face rock tunnel boring machine (tbm) based on a multi-objective genetic algorithm

        Junzhou Huo,Wei Sun,Jing Chen,Pengcheng Su,Liying Deng 대한기계학회 2010 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.24 No.2

Improving of the quality of the disc cutters’ plane layout design of the full-face rock tunnel boring machine (TBM) is the most effective way to improve the global performance of a TBM. The plane layout design of disc cutters contains multiple complex engineering technical requirements and belongs to a multi-objective optimization problem with multiple nonlinear constraints. Based on analysis of the technical requirements of the plane layout problem, an optimizing mathematical model was built. To obtain a set of design schemes for engineers to choose from, a multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA) was applied to carry out the optimization of the mathematical model. A constraint-domination principle was utilized to handle the constraints, and a nondominated sorting method was adopted to obtain Pareto solutions. Simulation results showed that the proposed method was efficient and accurate in obtaining the Pareto layout solutions.

Fasting Blood Glucose, Cholesterol, and Risk of Primary Liver Cancer: The Kailuan Study

        Xiangming Ma,Haozhe Cui,Miaomiao Sun,Qian Liu,Xining Liu,Guangjian Li,Yaochen Wei,Qingjiang Fu,Siqing Liu,Liying Cao 대한암학회 2021 Cancer Research and Treatment Vol.53 No.4

Purpose The influence of fasting blood glucose (FBG) and cholesterolemia primary liver cancer (PLC) in China was analyzed via a large prospective cohort study based on a community population, and the combined effects between them were investigated. Materials and Methods Overall, 98,936 staff from the Kailuan Group who participated in and finished physical examinations bet-ween 2006 and 2007 were included in the cohort study. Their medical information was collected and they were followed up after examination. The correlations of serum FBG or total cholesterol (TC) with PLC were analyzed. Then, we categorized all staff into four groups: normal FBG/non-hypocholesterolemia, normal FBG/hypocholesterolemia, elevated FBG/non-hypocholesterolemia, elevated FBG/hypocholesterolemia, and normal FBG/non-hypocholesterolemia was used as a control group. The combined effects of elevated FBG and hypocholesterolemia with PLC were analyzed using the Age-scale Cox proportional hazard regression model. Results During 1,134,843.68 person-years follow-up, a total of 388 PLC cases occurred. We found the elevated FBG and hypocholesterolemia increase the risk for PLC, respectively. Compared with the non-hypocholesterolemia/normal FBG group, the risk of PLC was significantly increased in the non-hypocholesterolemia/elevated FBG group (hazard artio [HR], 1.19; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.88 to 1.62) and hypocholesterolemia/normal FBG group (HR, 1.53; 95% CI, 1.19 to 1.97), and in the hypocholesterolemia/elevated FBG group (HR, 3.16; 95% CI, 2.13 to 4.69). And, a significant interaction effect was found of FBG and TC on PLC. All results were independent from the influence of liver disease. Conclusion Elevated serum FBG and hypocholesterolemia are risk factors for PLC, especially when combined. Thus, for the prevention and treatment of PLC, serum FBG and TC levels should be investigated.

Detection of Listeria monocytogenes in CSF from Three Patients with Meningoencephalitis by Next-Generation Sequencing

        Ming Yao,Jiali Zhou,Yicheng Zhu,Yinxin Zhang,Xia Lv,Ruixue Sun,Ao Shen,Haitao Ren,Liying Cui,Hongzhi Guan,Honglong Wu 대한신경과학회 2016 Journal of Clinical Neurology Vol.12 No.4

Background and Purpose Encephalitis caused by Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocyto¬genes) is rare but sometimes fatal. Early diagnosis is difficult using routine cerebrospinal flu¬id (CSF) tests, while next-generation sequencing (NGS) is increasingly being used for the detection and characterization of pathogens. Methods This study set up and applied unbiased NGS to detect L. monocytogenes in CSF collected from three cases of clinically suspected listeria meningoencephalitis. Results Three cases of patients with acute/subacute meningoencephalitis are reported. Magnetic resonance imaging and blood cultures led to a suspected diagnosis of L. monocy¬togenes, while the CSF cultures were negative. Unbiased NGS of CSF identified and se¬quenced reads corresponding to L. monocytogenes in all three cases. Conclusions This is the first report highlighting the feasibility of applying NGS of CSF as a diagnostic method for central nervous system (CNS) L. monocytogenes infection. Routine application of this technology in clinical microbiology will significantly improve diagnostic methods for CNS infectious diseases.
