Allomantispa Liu et al., 2015 is the only extant genus of the mantidfly subfamily Drepanicinae from Eurasia, being endemic to the Oriental region. It currently consists of only two species from southeastern Tibet and northern Myanmar, respectively. Here we describe a new species of this rarely observed mantidfly genus, namely Allomantispa coniprocessa sp. nov. from Yunnan, China. Interestingly, the new species displays distinctive sexual dimorphic characters on the pronotum. The molecular identification reveals obvious genetic divergence between the allopatric individuals of the new species. Their morphological variations are illustrated and compared. In addition, some characters with taxonomic or phylogenetic significance present on the pronotum, the abdomen and the genitalia in Allomantispa are also discussed. Our finding updates the morphological and distributional information on Allomantispa and implies a more diverse fauna of this genus in the Oriental region than pre viously assumed.

Three species of the snakefly genus Inocellia Schneider, 1843 (Raphidioptera: Inocelliidae) are reported from the Hengduan Mountains in southwestern China. Among them, Inocellia yulongensis sp. nov. is described as new to science. Inocellia cheni Liu, H. Aspöck, Yang & U. Aspöck, 2010 is first recorded from Sichuan Province based on a newly collected male from a locality over 4200 m a.s.l. Inocellia obtusangularis Liu, H. Aspöck, Yang & U. Aspöck, 2010 is first recorded from Yunnan Province. The rich species diversity of snakeflies and its biogeographic significance from the Hengduan Mountains are discussed.

An antlion species-group of Dendroleon Brauer, 1866, namely the D. pupillaris group, is defined, including five species (two described species and three new species): D. jianyuni Zheng & Liu sp. nov., D. motuoensis Wang & Wang, 2008, D. pupillaris (Gerstaecker, 1893), D. wenii Zheng, Hayashi, Matsumoto & Liu sp. nov., and D. xiaohani Zheng & Liu sp. nov. We sequenced the DNA barcodes of all species to test our morphological species delimitation. The immature stage of D. jianyuni sp. nov. is also described. In addition, the generic diagnosis of Dendroleon is further discussed. https://www.zoobank.org/zoobank.org:pub:91282009-E5D4-41EB-BCD5-2B96AA4D6516.

The paper was prepared spherical hexagonal boron nitride with different microstructures under flowing ammoniaatmosphere. The effect of boron source component ratios (molar ratio of borax and boric acid) on the phase composition ofthe sample were studied: the work also explored the effect of boron source component ratio on the microstructure andadsorption performance of h-BN. Spherical hexagonal boron nitride had corresponding to shell structure, mesoporousstructure, and solid structure when the ratio of boron source components respectively was 1 : 0.5, 1 : 1, and 1 : 2. Between 1 : 1and 1:0.5, the former had an lower adsorptions at low relative pressures. On the contrary, the adsorption of former wouldincreased at higher relative pressures and reached up 276.02 cm3 g−1, and the maximum adsorption of the latter reached only228.20 cm3 g−1. Under any relative pressure, the adsorption capacity was the lowest when the boron source composition ratiowas 1 : 2.

This paper proposes a novel UDE-based nonlinear path-following (PF) control scheme for the underactuated autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) with multiple uncertainties and input saturation. Firstly, to overcomethe drawback of dependence on the accurate mathematical model, the unknown time-varying sideslip angular speedin the error dynamic model is treated as kinematic uncertainty, and the linear superposition of parameter uncertainties, environmental perturbations, and other unmodeled dynamics is regarded as lumped dynamic uncertainty. Bothkinematic and dynamic uncertainties are estimated and compensated by the designed uncertainty and disturbanceestimators (UDEs). Secondly, a novel augmented backstepping controller based on the estimates generated by UDEsis proposed to achieve PF control of the underactuated AUV. The nonlinear tracking differentiator (NTD) is adoptedto prevent the “explosion of complexity” inherent in the traditional back-stepping method, and the auxiliary dynamical system is utilized to solve the issue of input saturation. Lastly, the stability analysis of the entire enclosed-loopframework is presented. Simulations and comparative analyses are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness androbustness of the presented strategy

The genus Dilar Rambur, 1838 (Neuroptera, Dilaridae) is the most species-rich genus of the family Dilaridae and is diverse in China, previously with 32 described species. Here we report two new species of Dilar from the southern part of the Hengduan Mountains, Sichuan, southwestern China, namely Dilar muliensis sp. nov. and Dilar punctulosus sp. nov. A revised key to species of Dilar from China is provided.
Flexible piezoresistive strain sensor based on CNTs–polymer composites: a brief review
Yi Ying,Wang Bo,Liu Xingyue,Li Changping 한국탄소학회 2022 Carbon Letters Vol.32 No.3
This article presents recent advancements in the development of flexible piezoresistive strain sensors based on carbon nanotubes (CNTs)–polymer composites, with particular attention to their electromechanical properties. Various fabrication approaches and material preparation of CNTs–polymer composites with improved piezoresistive performance are introduced. Moreover, the article presents the working principle of the piezoresistive sensors in terms of the tunneling effect and disconnection-reconnection mechanism. The sensing performances of recently reported applications are studied. This work also reveals that the CNTs–polymer composites have great potential for flexible, skin-mountable, and wearable electronics applications. Finally, possible challenges for the future developments of CNTs–polymer composites are discussed.
