<P>Though α-poly(<SMALL>L</SMALL>-lysine) (APL) has been well-studied in gene delivery, ε-poly(<SMALL>L</SMALL>-lysine) (EPL) with same repeating unit of <SMALL>L</SMALL>-lysine but different structure has been rarely investigated. This study compared various effects of their different structures in gene delivery processes. EPL showed less cytotoxicity and more proton buffering capacity for endosomal release than APL. Also, EPL/pDNA polyplexes represented higher nucleus preference than APL/pDNA polyplexes. However, EPL had weaker affinities with pDNA than APL, leading to formation of larger EPL/pDNA complexes with less compactness and successively faster decomplexation. The resultant difference of their pDNA binding affinity caused lower cellular uptake and lower transfection efficiency of EPL/pDNA complexes than APL/pDNA complexes. Thus, this study confirmed that various effects of gene delivery processes are changed by chemical structure of polymeric gene carriers. Especially, despite the low transfection efficiency of EPL-based polyplexes, the study found potentials of EPL in cytocompatibility, endosomal release, and nuclear import.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
Vane-type Static Mixer에 의한 디젤차량 배기관 내의 혼합 유동 특성에 관한 연구

In this work, the mixing and flow characteristics of a vane-type static mixer were carried out numerically for the reduction of NOx in the SCR-system of the diesel engines. The mixer was located in the 57 times pipe diameter away from the inlet. The analysis were performed by changing such various parameters as vane shape, angles, blockage ratio and location of the vane. The flow structure through the mixer was characterized by uniformity index and pressure drop. The results show that uniformity index and pressure coefficient are substantially influenced by the vane shape, angle, blockage ratio and position of the vane of the mixer.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was propose and test a predictive model that could explain and predict factors influencing the sexual satisfaction of women with diabetes mellitus. Method: The conceptual frame for this study was formed as a hypothesized model based on Roy"s adaptation model. Participants for this study were 240 out-patient women from P university hospital in Y city. The data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 19.0 program. Results: The paths that had direct effects on sexual satisfaction, and were statistically significant were showing intimacy with spouse, and sexual function. The explanatory power of these variables for sexual satisfaction was 64%. Conclusion: The results of the study suggest that it is necessary for enhancement of sexual satisfaction for women with diabetes to increase intimacy with husband, and that sexual function, frequency of exercise, adequate glycemic control be maintained, and depression decreased.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 임상실습 스트레스, 임상실습 만족도와 임상수행능력의 관계와 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보고자 수행하였다. 자료는 G지역의 6개 간호대학, 202명의 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 19.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 간호대학생의 자아탄력성의 자아탄력성은 임상실습 만족도(r=.213, p=.002), 임상수행능력(r=.432, p<.001)과 정적 상관관계가 있었고 임상실습 스트레스는 임상실습 만족도(r=?.443, p<.001), 임상수행능력(r=?.156, p=.031)과 부적 상관관계가 있었으며, 임상실습 만족도는 임상수행능력(r=.401, p<.001)과 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 임상실습 만족도의 하위요인인 실습교과(β=.24)는 임상수행능력에 가장 크게 영향을 주는 요인이었으며, 그 다음이 자아탄력성의 하위요인인 호기심(β=.22), 임상실습 스트레스의 하위요인인 바람직하지 못한 역할 모델(β=?.17), 자아탄력성의 하위요인인 대인관계(β=.16), 활력(β=.15)순이었다. 이러한 변수들은 간호대학생의 임상수행능력을 34.9% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호학생들의 임상수행능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 자아탄력성을 강화시키고 임상실습 스트레스를 줄여 임상실습 만족도를 높일 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하여야 할 것으로 생각된다. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the ego-resilience, stress, satisfaction and competence of clinical practice and affecting factors on competence of clinical practice in nursing students. Data were obtained through questionnairs from 202 nursing college students in 6 nursing college located in the province of G. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS WIN 19.0. As a results, ego-resilience had a significant positive correlation with satisfaction of clinical practice (r=.213, p=.002), competence of clinical practice (r=.432, p<.001). Stress of clinical practice had a significant negative correlation with satisfaction of clinical practice (r=?.443, p<.001), competence of clinical practice (r=?.156, p=.031). Satisfaction of clinical practice had a significant positive correlation with competence of clinical practice (r=.401, p<.001). The significant major predictors of competence of clinical practice were satisfaction of clinical practice in participants (β=.24) and second factor were ego-resilience in curiosity (β=.22). The explained variances for competence of clinical practice was 34.9% in nursing students. Therefore to enhance competence of clinical practice a follow up study on the development of a program for advanced ego-resilience, reduction to stress, enhanced to satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students is needed.
노인의 외모관리가 심리적 적응과 사회적 유대관계에 미치는 영향에서 인터넷 쇼핑경험의 조절효과: 가상현실예술융합의 필요성 탐색을 기반으로

The purpose of this study was to identify the moderating effects of internet shopping experience on appearance management in elder people, psychological adaptation and social connectedness. Data were collected from 257 elder people who living in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do. Collected data were analyzed by frequency, descriptive statistic analysis, moderated stepwise regression. The results of the study were as follows: First, appearance management of elder people was significantly related to psychological adaptation and social connectedness. Second, internet shopping experience moderated between appearance management and social connectedness. Third, internet shopping experience is not a moderator variable on between appearance management and psychological adaptation, it just was a influential factor on psychological adaptation. Based on these results, it suggests that there are strong needs of approaching of practical and political interventions to development internet shopping system for social connectedness and psychological adaptation of the elderly in future aging society.
베인 타입 스태틱 믹서의 기하학적 변수에 따른 디젤 배기관 내 유동특성에 관한 연구

디젤엔진 SCR 시스템 내에서 NOx를 저감을 위한 베인 타입 스태틱 믹서의 혼합유동특성을 수치적으로 연구하였다. 믹서는 원형관의 입구로부터 유동방향으로 직경의 57배 떨어진 구간에 설치하였다. 베인이 유동 축과 이루는 각과 베인의 크기 그리고 위치의 변화에 따른 유동 및 혼합특성을 고찰하였다. 원형관내에서 믹서를 통과하는 유동의 특성은 UI, 선회비, 그리고 압력계수와 같은 특성화된 성능지수로 나타내었다. 해석결과 성능지수들은 베인 각과 차단비, 베인 위치와 같은 기하학적 변수에 영향을 받음을 확인하였다. 특히, 베인 각, 베인 크기가 커지거나 원형관내의 벽면에 가까이 설치될수록 선회비는 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. In this research, a numerical study was carried out on the mixing and flow characteristics of a vane-type static mixer for the reduction of NOx in the SCR systems from the diesel exhaust environments. The mixer was located at a distance of 57 times the pipe diameter away from the inlet. The analyses were performed by changing various parameters such as vane angles, blockage ratio, and location of the vane. Flow characteristics through the mixer were characterized by the uniformity index, swirl number, and pressure drop. The results show that uniformity index, pressure coefficient and swirl number are substantially influenced by the vane angle, blockage ratio and position of the vane of the mixer. In particular, the swirl number was increased when the vane was located near the pipe wall, or the vane angle was increased or scale was extended.
