This research focuses on the cadastre and cartographic tradition regarding the representation of Rome that had lasted until the middle of 18th Century. Since the early period of Roman Republic until the early 18th Century, map was considered as a effective medium to record the status of urban facts and also a manifestation of changing perception of reality. These facts allow to diagnose social and conventional changes that had occurred in the field of representation techniques and methodologies derived from diverse intention and objective in elaboration of each map. Cartography also has affinity to architectural drawing as many categories of individuals are involved, clients, researchers, craftsmen, publisher and collectors. Fundamental task of documenting the contemporary physical reality was given to the map, however, as architects had practiced through the drawings, cartographers also reconstruct in subjective way specific buildings and urban aspects according to various needs and demands. As such, philology and imagination play important role as two constitute extreme poles in the evolution of the cadastre. Through analysis of paradigmatic examples in the genealogy of cartography of Rome, it was possible to understand the changing episteme that testify the mentality and custom in the field of visual representation.
Thickness Effect on Compressive Fatigue Behavior of Al-Si-Ca Alloy Foam

The compressive fatigue tests on the closed cell Al-Si-Ca alloy foams with two different thicknesses were performed using a load ratio of 0.1. The quasi-static and cyclic compressive behaviors were obtained respectively. The fatigue stress-life (S-N) curves were evaluated from the obtained cyclic compressive behaviors. S-N curves were presented for the onset of progressive shortening. It turned out that the fatigue strength showed higher value for the thicker foam and the onset of shortening of thinner foam took place earlier. The crushing was found to initiate in a single band which broadens gradually with additional fatigue cycles. Progressive shortening of the specimen took place due to a combination of low cycle fatigue failure and cyclic ratcheting.

The objective of this study is to provide the input data for the prediction of life time of welded automotive suspension components. The welded SAPH 440 specimens were machined for the tensile and fatigue tests. The tensile and fatigue strengths were measured. As result, the fatigue strength of welded specimen turned out to be much lower than that of SAPH 440 without weldment. The fatigue fracture occurred at the heat affected zone along the welding line. In addition, stress-life (S-N) curve in terms of an equivalent stress along the welding line identified with S-N curve under uniaxial load.

This study aims on focus on the phenomenon of facility relocation specifically on Sudo girls’ high school in Yongsan district, Through critical study on the current masterplan. This study intends to propose an alternative urban development of public facilities, preserving historically important building within complex public facilities.
