        한국어 작문 평가를 위한 텍스트 구어성 측정 공식 개발 연구

        The purpose of this study was to construct colloquial text measurement formulas that can be utilized in Korean writing evaluations, to draw up a list of colloquial grammar and vocabulary and analyze the frequency of the appearance of conforming text corpus in both spoken and written language. Logistic regression analysis was carried out on the frequency analysis results, and the derived regression equations were used as colloquial text measurement formulas. Values from the ROC curve and AUC analysis showed that the performance of the colloquial text measurement formulas was excellent. In addition, there was a high correlation between the grading scores by a group of experts and the grading based on the colloquial text measurement formulas. Therefore, both the validity and reliability of the colloquial text measurement formulas developed in this study have been verified and they are expected to be useful in actual writing evaluations.         그림책을 이용한 토론 수업이 초등학생의 읽기 동기와 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

        이 연구의 목적은 그림책을 이용한 토론 수업을 개발하고 이를 적용한 후 학생들의 읽기 동기와 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 그림책을 이용한 토론수업을 실시한 집단과 실시하지 않은 집단 간의 읽기 동기와 자아존중감 차이를 알아보기 위해 국내 읽기 동기 관련 선행 연구를 파악하고 ADDIE 설계모형 단계의 절차를 거쳐 초등학교 교육과정에서 활용 가능한 토론 수업을 개발하였다. 연구 대상은 경기도 용인시 기흥구에 소재한 G 초등학교에 재학 중인 3학년 20명의 학생들이고 통제집단으로 같은 학교, 같은 학년의 19명 학생들을 선정하였다. 그림책을 이용한 토론 수업은 2019년 9월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 진행되었으며 5권의 그림책으로 총 15차시 수업을 하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 사전-사후 읽기 동기, 자아존중감 검사를 하였고, SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 통계분석을 하였다. 또한 수업 후 소감문, 더 읽은 횟수, 개인 면담 분석을 통해 수업 과정 중 읽기 동기 및 자아존중감 향상이 어떻게 이루어지는지 질적 분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 그림책을 이용한 토론 수업은 초등학생의 읽기 동기의 총점, 호기심, 도구적 가치, 인정, 성취 요인을 향상하는 데 효과적이었다. 둘째, 그림책을 이용한 토론 수업은 초등학생의 자아존중감 총점, 총체적 자아존중감, 사회적 자아존중감, 가정적 자아존중감 요인의 향상에 효과적이었다. 이러한 결과들은 체계적인 읽기 내적 동기 향상을 위한 교육적 활동의 개발과 학생들의 공감과 소통을 통한 자아존중감 향상 프로그램의 필요성을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to develop discussion activities using picture books and apply them to verify the impact on students' motivation for reading and self-esteem. To this end, a new picture book reading program was developed for 3rd graders through the procedure of ADDIE model. The study was conducted in G Elementary School in Yongin city with 39 students (20 experiment groups and 19 control groups) from September 1 to November 30, 2019. Pre- and post-reading motivation and self-esteem tests were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the program, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 23.0 program. In addition, qualitative analysis was conducted on how reading motivation and self-esteem improve during the course by analyzing discussion class activity, post-class impressions, the number of readings, and personal interviews. To sum up the results of this study, firstly, discussion activities using picture books were effective in improving the total score, curiosity, tool value, recognition, and achievement factors of elementary school students' reading motivation measures. Second, discussion activities using picture books were effective in improving the total score of self-esteem, global self-esteem, social self-esteem, and family self-esteem factors of elementary school students. These results suggest the need for a program to develop educational activities to improve systematic internal reading motivation and to improve self-esteem through students’ empathy and communication.

        초급일본어 학습자의 의사소통능력 향상을 위한 수업 연구

        This study designs and conducts Introduction to Japanese classes for novice learners in Japanese based on the Task-based Language Teaching method, a communication-centered teaching method, and Focus on Form Theory. In the existing lecture type classes, the students did not have the opportunity to use Japanese and eventually stopped learning Japanese. In Japanese classes that has implemented the Task-based Language Teaching method and the Focus on Form, the goal is to properly use the Japanese that has been learned. The first step of the study organizes the meaningful parts in the Communication Centered Teaching Method and FonF study for novice Japanese learners. Next, by using FonF and TBLT, classes are conducted in order to develop communicative competence for novice learners. The results of the study examines the class satisfaction survey completed by the learners. In the psychological section of the learners, there was a positive effect in the Task activities classes, and this has also positively affected the learning experience for the target language. Classes that utilized tasks provided more opportunities to use Japanese, and also successful experiences in learning Japanese had increased which led to high motivations in learning Japanese. Furthermore, tasks that were highly applicable to daily life allowed students to learn more meaningful and practical Japanese.

        한국어 문법 교육의 표현 항목에 대한 구어성 측정 및 등급화 연구

        The purpose of this study is to measure and demonstrate the orality score for expression items in Korean grammar education. Accordingly, a total of 176 expression items were extracted from two copies of a Korean grammar dictionary, and the frequencies in the written and oral corpus were analyzed. Based on this, the orality score (G²) was calculated. As a result of evaluating the orality score, a total of 36 expression items were found to have colloquialism. A standard for grading orality scores was arranged, and the spoken expression items were graded accordingly. Furthermore, a method for visualizing these results was presented. The results of this study are significant in that they can be used as materials for teaching and learning Korean grammar, explaining grammar, and discriminating between spoken and written errors.         Development of a Metabolic Syndrome Classification and Prediction Model for Koreans Using Deep Learning Technology: The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) (2013–2018)

        The prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS) and its cost are increasing due to lifestyle changes and aging. This study aimed to develop a deep neural network model for prediction and classification of MetS according to nutrient intake and other MetS-related factors. This study included 17,848 individuals aged 40–69 years from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2013–2018). We set MetS (3–5 risk factors present) as the dependent variable and 52 MetS-related factors and nutrient intake variables as independent variables in a regression analysis. The analysis compared and analyzed model accuracy, precision and recall by conventional logistic regression, machine learning-based logistic regression and deep learning. The accuracy of train data was 81.2089, and the accuracy of test data was 81.1485 in a MetS classification and prediction model developed in this study. These accuracies were higher than those obtained by conventional logistic regression or machine learning-based logistic regression. Precision, recall, and F1-score also showed the high accuracy in the deep learning model. Blood alanine aminotransferase (β = 12.2035) level showed the highest regression coefficient followed by blood aspartate aminotransferase (β = 11.771) level, waist circumference (β = 10.8555), body mass index (β = 10.3842), and blood glycated hemoglobin (β = 10.1802) level. Fats (cholesterol [β = −2.0545] and saturated fatty acid [β = −2.0483]) showed high regression coefficients among nutrient intakes. The deep learning model for classification and prediction on MetS showed a higher accuracy than conventional logistic regression or machine learning-based logistic regression.

        A Simple PCR-RFLP for Idenficiation of Bursaphelenchus spp. Collected from Korea

        Accurate identification of pine wood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus is a prerequisite to diagnose the pine wilt disease. However, a fungivorous nematode, B. mucronatus is highly similar to B. xylophilus and it is difficult to differentiate these two species by morphological features. A molecular diagnosis method, ITSRFLP was applied for the identification of B. xylophilus and B. mucronatus from Korea. Genomic DNA was extracted from a single individual nematode and ITS DNA was amplified by PCR. The size of PCR product was approximately 900 bp and the sequence data were obtained after cloning. Amplified ITS was digested by 5 different restriction enzymes (Rsa I, Hae III, Msp I, Hinf I, and Alu I) and provided a discriminatory profile for B. xylophilus and B. mucronatus. Besides, B. mucro- natus was determined to have 2 different genotypes, East Asian type and European type also clearly separated by Rsa I and Hae III digestion. European type of B. mucronatus is recently collected from Pinus koraiensis and has not been reported before. ITS sequnce data were analyzed by Restriction Mapper program and the result supported ITS-RFLP pattern. These data indicated that PCRRFLP method is an accurate and simple way for identification of Bursaphelenchus species.

      • Characterization and genetic mapping of a abaxially rolled leaf mutant in rice.

        Leaves are the organ for photosynthesis, respiration and transpiration, and have a major effect on crop yield. Therefore, leaf shape and structure are important agronomic traits in breeding for ideal type plant. We obtained a new abaxially rolled leaf mutant from Ilpum(Oryza sativa ssp. japonica) by the treatment of ethyl methane sulfonate(EMS). The abaxially rolled leaf mutant showed reduced plant height and panicle length, increased tiller number and panicle number than Ilpum. LRI(Leaf rolling index) analysis showed that the mutant have high value compared to the wild-type. In cross section analysis, the mutant was observed to have increased of bulliform cell number and size, and led to the outcurved leaf rolling. The phenotypes of the F1 plants derived from the cross between the mutant and Ilpum were normal. In F2 population, segregation ratio between the wild type and the mutant was 3:1. This genetic analysis indicated that leaf rolling is controlled by single recessive gene. Bulked segregant analysis(BSA) and genetic mapping were conducted using F2 population derived from the cross between mutant and Milyang23(Oryza sativa ssp. indica). According to the results, the gene was located on the long arm of chromosome2. Fine mapping is in progress.
