Ha Hong TRAN(Ha Hong TRAN ),Vinh Thi Hong NGUYEN(Vinh Thi Hong NGUYEN ),Nam Hoang TRINH(Nam Hoang TRINH ) 한국유통과학회 2022 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.9 No.9
The global financial crisis of 2008–2009 and the COVID-19 pandemic that started in 2019 along with the slow and unstable recovery of the global economy have raised concerns about the impact of global uncertainty on the macroeconomics of the countries. The paper used the Structural Vector Autoregression (SVAR) model to examine the impact of global uncertainty shocks on Vietnam’s economy from the period 2008–2022. We found that Vietnam’s output dropped following the shock of global uncertainty, the peak was in the third month, and lasted for one year. Inflation in Vietnam had a rapid downturn in the first month, peaked in the seventh month, and took a long time to cease. When the economy experienced the shock of increased global uncertainty, Vietnam’s policy interest rate was adjusted downward. Additionally, we included a long-term interest rate to consider the overall impact of monetary policy into account. A decreasing trend was also found with this rate. The global uncertainty shock effects acted as the aggregate demand shocks, reducing output and inflation as the uncertainty increases and vice versa, thus monetary policy can be used to regulate Vietnam’s economy to deal with negative shocks without the trade-offs between output and inflation as aggregate supply shocks.

The study seeks to explore the factors affecting the access to credits by individual customers at commercial banks in Tra Vinh province, Vietnam. Based on these results, the author proposes solutions to further improve the ability to serve individual customers at commercial banks in the province in the future. The study was conducted with a method of collecting primary data of 300 individual customers including 150 people with access to credits and 150 people without accessing to credits at six commercial banks in Tra Vinh Province, Viet Nam - Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bank for Foreign Trade Commercial Bank, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Asia Commercial Bank in Tra Vinh, Sai Gon Commercial Joint Stock Bank, and Bank of East Asia. The author has used binary regression methods, and the study found that seven factors affecting the ability of individual customers to access capital, namely, career, qualifications, collaterals, incomes, documents, loan and business plans, and experience. In particular, occupation, experience, and documents are the most influential factors. From the above results, the author proposes policy implications to improve individual customers' access to credits at commercial banks in Tra Vinh province in the near future.

By the use of the Binary Logistic regression method, the research found out that the factors influencing to borrow credit of household business’s decision including: banks brand names, loan interest rates, service attitude, and loan procedures. Of those, the banks brand names and lending interest rates have the strongest impacts on borrow credit decision of business households at commercials banks in Tra Vinh province. Since then, the study has proposed solutions to improve access to credit of business households in commercial banks in Tra Vinh province in the coming time, such as: developing a bank brand; the development of flexible lending interest rate policies; improve service style of bank staff; at the same time, simplifying lending procedures.

Electron-beam (EB) irradiation was employed to degrade enrofloxacin (ENR) in an aqueous solution. Thealgal growth inhibition test revealed that ENR exhibited low toxicity against the cyanobacterium Arthrospira sp., with anEC50-96 h value of 5.17mg/L. The Taguchi design also involved finding the best optimum for ENR treatment using EB. Results revealed that the high-efficiency removal of ENR in an aqueous solution was approximately 98.53% under theoptimum conditions of an absorbed dose of 5 kGy, a pH of 5.0, and an initial ENR concentration of 10 mg/L and anH2O2 concentration of 2mM. The ERR degradation under a couple of EB irradiation and H2O2 followed pseudo-firstorderkinetics, with an R2 of ~0.970. The major degradation pathways of ENR were suggested by density functional theory, natural bond orbital calculations, and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) analysis. Lifecycle assessment (LCA) was also performed to evaluate the impact of the EB on removing ENR; the industrial processwas designed based on laboratory tests aimed with the ReCiPe tool. The obtained results indicated that energy consumptionand H2O2 affect environmental impacts with order human health, ecology systems, and natural resource. The LCAalso proved that EB could be a green and efficient method for eliminating pharmaceutical contaminants in water.

The research aims to investigate the impact levels of determinants on the loyalty of accountants to FDI firms underlying investment management in Thanglong Industrial Park in Hanoi, Vietnam. We conducted a questionnaire consisting of 31 observation variables with a 5-point Likert scale. Independent variables were measured from 1 "without effect" to 5 "strongly". The method of data collection was done through the survey and subjects are accountants in FDI firms doing business in Thanglong Industrial Park in Hanoi. After checking the information on the votes, there are 120 questionnaires with full information for data entry and analysis, This study employs Cronbach's Alpha test, and regression model. The results show that seven determinants including Working environment, The characteristics of working; Training, promotion prospects and development; Income, Personal characteristic, Collective work together and The method of leading had positive relationships with the loyalty of accountants. Based on the findings, some recommendations are given related to such determinants to improve the loyalty of accountants of FDI firms in general and FDI firms in Thanglong Industrial Park in Hanoi in particular. With which, those firms can enhance performance, reduce financial strain, saving on investment in the recruiting process of new staff, increase profitability to ensure investment management.

The objective of this study is to find out the factors affecting the employees‘ loyalty in private joint-stock commercial banks in Mekong Delta, Vietnam. Then, possible solutions can be proposed, which can be implemented to improve employees‘ engagement in private jointstock commercial banks in Mekong Delta, Vietnam, in the future. The author conducted a survey of 300 employees at 6 private joint-stock commercial banks in 6 provinces in Mekong Delta: An Giang, Tra Vinh, Can Tho, Ben Tre, Soc Trang, and Tien Giang. The author also used the Cronbach Alpha reliability analysis method, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and multivariate regression analysis. The results show the degree of influence of factors on employees‘ loyalty - according to decreasing importance: Income, Job characteristics, Working environment, Colleagues, Leadership. The authors propose some solutions based on the research findings, including focusing on assigning the right employees to the right jobs, creating a competitive and fair working environment, focusing on a reasonable income policy, and transparency in working relationships to help bank managers in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam improve human resource management to improve employee loyalty to private joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam.
