EXISTENCE OF SOLUTION FOR IMPULSIVE FRACTIONAL DYNAMIC EQUATIONS WITH DELAY ON TIME SCALES
GAO, ZHI-JUAN,FU, XU-YANG,LI, QIAO-LUAN The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2015 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.33 No.3
This paper is mainly concerned with the existence of solution for nonlinear impulsive fractional dynamic equations on a special time scale. We introduce the new concept and propositions of fractional q-integral, q-derivative, and α-Lipschitz in the paper. By using a new fixed point theorem, we obtain some new existence results of solutions via some generalized singular Gronwall inequalities on time scales. Further, an interesting example is presented to illustrate the theory.

Background Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a unique novel type of RNA, have been widely reported to be involved in physiologic and pathologic processes in humans. However, the exact molecular pathogenesis of circRNAs in chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN) is far from clear. Objective This paper aims to evaluate the specific expression profile of circRNAs in renal cortex tissues from Adriamycin-induced CGN rats. Methods CircRNAs were screened in renal cortex tissues from 3 CGN rats and 3 control rats by using high-throughput sequencing (HTS). Then, 4 circRNAs were selected randomly for verification by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). In addition, the differentially expressed (DE) circRNAs were analyzed by bioinformatics methods. Results In total, 31 significantly DE circRNAs were identified, which revealed their potential roles in CGN; in particular, we found that 4 confirmed altered circRNAs (rno-circ-RNAs 689, 3217, 1327, and 5001) might play important roles in the development of CGN. Conclusion This study reveals a cluster of circRNAs that are DE in Adriamycin-induced CGN rats, which brings us closer to understanding the pathogenic mechanisms and may provide new potential targets for clinical treatment.

Endometriosis (EMs) is one of the most common gynaecological diseases in women of childbearing age. Astrocyte elevated gene-1 (AEG-1) is associated with the invasion, migration, apoptosis and prognosis of various cancers. However, the roles of AEG-1 in EMs and its corresponding molecular mechanism are still unknown. In this study, animal models of EMs were established and mice were divided into two groups (n = 10): Sham group and EMs group. The EMs cells were isolated from EMs model. The AEG-1 gene was knocked down by shRNA, while the SOCS1 gene was knocked down by siRNA. Histological changes, AEG-1 expression in tissues and inflammatory factors level were detected by H&E staining, immunohistochemistry and ELISA, respectively. RTqPCR and western blotting were used to determine the expression level of related proteins. The present study found AEG-1 was up-regulated in the EMs model. Enhanced AEG-1 promoted inflammatory cell infiltration, and elevated the levels of IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α in EM group (p < 0.05). Besides, AEG-1 overexpression promoted the expression of NALP3, ASC and Cleavedcaspase- 1, while decreased SOCS1 level (p < 0.05). Decrease of SOCS1 further promoted the formation of NALP3 inflammasome. The inhibitory effect of AEG-1 on SOCS1 was weakened after the addition of MG-132 (p < 0.01). Furthermore, silencing AEG-1 alone increased SOCS1 level, decreased the levels of inflammatory cytokines, thereby inhibited the formation of NALP3 inflammasome. All these results demonstrated that AEG-1 aggravated inflammation via promoting NALP3 inflammasome formation in murine endometriosis lesions.

The engineering rock mass is a multi-fracture body crisscrossed by geologic structure planes, and its safety is affected by the rock joints' mechanical properties and morphological features. The joint roughness coefficient (JRC) is a vital characterization method to describe joint surface roughness. Its precise quantization is a crucial factor in predicting shear strength. However, JRCin recent research did not reflect the directional effect of the joint morphology. A new 3D roughness parameter WAD (weighted apparent dip) was proposed to estimate JRC based on the apparent dip angle of the contact unit. The proposed parameter comprehensively reflects the contribution of shear direction and asperity features to the roughness. Based on the ten standard roughness profiles, we investigated the directionality of the WAD and studied the influence of the sampling interval (Sai) on WAD and their correlation with JRC. And the practicability of WAD in evaluating JRC was well verified by the comparison between the indoor test and calculated results with different roughness and shear directions, and the results showed that WAD could accurately estimate the shear strength of the joint rock.

In this work, a new binary microwave dielectric ceramic system of (1 − x)CeO2–xCaF2 (0.2 ≤ x ≤ 0.6) was fabricated at medium sintering temperatures. The compositional eff ects of on the sintering behavior, phase compositions, microstruc- tures, and microwave dielectric properties of the samples were studied. High relative density levels (> 95%) were achieved in the (1 − x)CeO2–xCaF2 samples at the sintering temperatures ranging from 1100 to 1350 °C. An increase in the content of CaF 2 resulted in a decrease in the dielectric constant, an increase in the Q × f level, and a negative shift of the τf value. The optimal microwave dielectric properties of εr = 11.3, Q × f = 53,000 GHz, and τf = − 102 ppm/°C were obtained in the sample of (1 − x)CeO2–xCaF2 with x = 0.6 when sintered at 1300 °C.
Initial selection of groove location combination for multi-groove casing treatments
Juan Du,Lipeng Gao,Jichao Li,Feng Lin,Jingyi Chen 대한기계학회 2016 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.30 No.2
Stall margin improvement (SMI) curve is a function of a single groove location for a low-speed axial compressor and is investigated numerically and experimentally in this paper. SMI curve illustrates that good grooves are located in a fairly wide region approximately from 30% C ax to 80% C ax aft of the rotor leading edge. The narrow region that contains bad grooves is near 20% C ax aft of the rotor leading edge. The initial selection of groove location combination for multi-groove casing treatments is proposed based on the SMI and efficiency improvement data generated by a series of single-groove and multi-groove casing treatments. The grooves should be set in the “wide region” of the SMI curve. The grooves located near the “narrow region” and the rotor trailing edge should be avoided. The “narrow region” can be identified by the axial momentum distribution of the tip leakage flow or the circumferentially averaged axial shear stress on the casing using the simulation results of the smooth casing at the near-stall point.
Fault Diagnosis and Optimal Fault-Tolerant Control for Systems with Delayed Measurements and States
Juan Li,Hong-Wei Gao,Peng Zhang,Da-Rong Huang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2012 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.10 No.1
This note deals with the problems of fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control for systems with delayed measurements and states. The main contribution consists in two aspects. First, by solving the Riccati equation and Sylvester equation, an optimal fault-tolerant control law is designed for systems with delayed measurements and states. The existence and uniqueness of the optimal fault-tolerant control law are proved. Second, the physically unrealizable problem of the optimal fault-tolerant con-trol law is solved by proposing a novel fault diagnoser for systems with delayed measurements and states. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the feasibility and validity of the proposed schemes.
