The manufacture of sodium sulfide through a carbon reduction process, using sodium sulfate as raw material, generatessodium sulfide by-product sediment, which has potential health and environmental impacts. Herein, a novel strategy isproposed to recover sodium oxide from the sediment by using acidic treatment and the influence of solution pH on sodiumoxide content is systematically studied. The results reveal that the sodium oxide content decreases with decreasing pH valueof the solution. At pH = 4, the as-treated sediment results in Na2O content of 3.10 wt. %, which recovery rate is about 90%. Furthermore, the influences of sintering temperature and time on compressive strength and bulk density are studied. Ingeneral, the compressive strength and bulk density increase with increasing sintering temperature and time. After sinteringat 1,300 oC for 120 min, the compressive strength and bulk density of the sintered porous ceramic are 26.66 MPa and 1.31 g/cm3, respectively. The porous ceramic, sintered at 1,300 oC, mainly consists of hauyne, gehlenite and hematite phases. Insummary, the few flaws in cell-walls result in high compressive strength of the as-prepared porous ceramics.

Red gypsum waste comes from titanium dioxide production by sulphuric acid method. Anhydrite was prepared from thewaste. The effects of calcined temperature on the properties of anhydrite were studied. The normal consistency of anhydritedecreased with the increase of calcined temperature, while the compressive strength firstly increase and then decrease. Theeffect of high strength gypsum on the properties of anhydrite was also studied. The normal consistency of sample decreasedwith the increase of high strength gypsum content, while the setting time firstly decrease and then increase, strength anddensity increased.

Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics (1 - x - y)Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-xBi0.5K0.5TiO3- yBiGaO3 have been fabricated by an ordinary sintering technique, and their structure and electrical properties and depolarization temperature have been studied. The results of X-ray diffraction reveal that Bi0.5K0.5TiO3 and BiGaO3 diffuse into the Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3 lattices to form a new solid solution with a pure perovskite structure. An obvious change in microstructure with increasing concentration of Bi0.5K0.5TiO3 and BiGaO3 was observed. The piezoelectric constant d33 and the electromechanical coupling factor kp of the ceramics attain maximum values of 165 pC/N and 0.346 at y = 0.01(x = 0.18) and x = 0.21(y = 0.01), respectively. The temperature dependence of dielectric constant indicates an obvious relaxor characteristic with strong frequency dependence of dielectric constant. The depolarization temperature decreased with increasing content of BiGaO3 and first decreases and then increases with increasing amount of Bi0.5K0.5TiO3.
Research on Upgrading Plan of Transmission Line for Voltage Sag Treatment
Wang Xue,Liu Changrong 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.3
When the overhead lines are replaced with cables, the voltage sag will reduce with the decrease of line failure. For a regional power grid, the whole eff ect of voltage sag treatment is directly correlated with the upgrading plan of overhead line. In the paper a method to study the transmission line upgrading plan is proposed, in which the treatment cost, treatment stage and order are considered. First, the upgrading benefi ts and upgrading costs of each overhead line are studied. Then, aimed at the maximum treatment benefi t, the overhead line upgrading plan optimization model of is established, and the cuckoo algorithm is used to solve the model to obtain the upgrading plan. If the lines needed to be upgraded are too many or the investment is limited, the upgrading can’t be done within one year, the model is solved in two stages to obtain the phased upgrading plan. At last, IEEE 30-node system is adopted to test the proposed method. The result shows that compared with other methods the proposed method can provide upgrading plan with more details, and off er theoretical support for the voltage sag treatment in system side

Background/Aims MicroRNAs (miRNAs) were reported to be responsible for intestinal permeability in diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) rats in our previous study. However, whether and how miRNAs regulate visceral hypersensitivity in IBS-D remains largely unknown. Methods We established the IBS-D rat model and evaluated it using the nociceptive visceral hypersensitivity test, myeloperoxidase activity assay, restraint stress-induced defecation, and electromyographic (EMG) activity. The distal colon was subjected to miRNA microarray analysis followed by isolation and culture of colonic epithelial cells (CECs). Bioinformatic analysis and further experiments, including dual luciferase assays, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, western blot, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, were used to detect the expression of miRNAs and how it regulates visceral hypersensitivity in IBS-D rats. Results The IBS-D rat model was successfully established. A total of 24 miRNAs were differentially expressed in the distal colon of IBS-D rats; 9 were upregulated and 15 were downregulated. Among them, the most significant upregulation was miR-200a, accompanied by downregulation of cannabinoid receptor 1 (CNR1) and serotonin transporter (SERT). MiR-200a mimic markedly inhibited the expression of CNR1/SERT. Bioinformatic analysis and luciferase assay confirmed that CNR1/SERT are direct targets of miR-200a. Rescue experiments that overexpressed CNR1/SERT significantly abolished the inhibitory effect of miR-200a on the IBS-D rats CECs. Conclusions This study suggests that miR-200a could induce visceral hyperalgesia by targeting the downregulation of CNR1 and SERT, aggravating or leading to the development and progression of IBS-D. MiR-200a may be a regulator of visceral hypersensitivity, which provides potential targets for the treatment of IBS-D. (J Neurogastroenterol Motil 2018;24:656-668)
