        건강정보 이해증진을 위한 복약안내문 전문용어의 개선

        Despite the increasing importance of medication counseling in pharmacies, written instructions for prescription medications often contain medical terminology that is reportedly difficult for laypeople to understand. This study was conducted to evaluate whether laypeople understand professional terms -and their equivalent layperson’s terms- in written instructions for drugs that are frequently dispensed at community pharmacies; professional terms in instructions were converted to layperson’s terms, and study participants’ understanding of those instructions was measured before and after conversion. This cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted on 348 adults (excluding healthcare professionals) in November 2018; the participants’ comprehension levels were evaluated on a 4-point Likert scale. Twenty selected professional terms were converted to layperson’s terms using the Standard Korean Dictionary, Korean Pharmacopeia, and the Korean Medical Library Engine. Results showed that prior to conversion, more than 50% of respondents could not understand 13 of those terms; after conversion, all terms were understood by a majority of the respondents. The mean comprehension score (2.23 points before conversion) significantly improved to 3.48 points after conversion. For all 20 terms, the percentage of respondents who answered “understand” (3 or 4 points) was 43.6% before conversion; this percentage increased to 88.6% after conversion. We found that the layperson terminology adopted in this study effectively improved the general public’s comprehension of professional terms. We hope that efforts to convert professional terminology to layperson terminology continue in order to ensure appropriate drug use.

        산악 산림 소유역에서 선행강우지수를 이용한 하천유량 추정: 계룡산 용수천 상류

        Variability in precipitation due to climate change causes difficulties in securing stable surface water resource, which requires understanding of relation between precipitation and stream discharge. This study simulated stream discharge in a small mountainous forested catchment using antecedent precipitation index (API) models which represent variability of saturation conditions of soil layers depending on rainfall events. During 13 months from May 2015 to May 2016, stream discharge and rainfall were measured at the outlet and in the central part of the watershed, respectively. Several API models with average recession coefficients were applied to predict stream discharge using measured rainfall, which resulted in the best reflection time for API model was 1 day in terms of predictability of stream discharge. This indicates that soil water in riparian zones has fast response to rainfall events and its storage is relatively small. The model can be improved by employing seasonal recession coefficients which can consider seasonal fluctuation of hydrological parameters. These results showed API models can be useful to evaluate variability of streamflow in ungauged small forested watersheds in that stream discharge can be simulated using only rainfall data.

        초등학교 교사가 지각한 교감의 수업지도성과 자신의 수업 행동의 관계

        본 연구는 교사의 근무경력, 직급에 따라 초등학교 교사가 지각한 교감의 수업지도성 행위와 교사 자신의 수업행동에 대한 인식을 알아보고, 교감 수업지도성과 교사 수업행동 사이에 어떠한 관계가 있는지 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상으로 서울시 11개 교육청에 재직 중인 초등교사 282명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 조사결과에 기초하여 의미 있는 내용을 보다 구체적으로 알아보기 위해 2명의 교사, 1명의 부장교사, 1명의 교감을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 교사의 경력이 높을수록, 부장교사일수록 교감의 수업지도성과 교사 수업행동을 긍정적으로 지각하고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 교감의 수업지도성과 교사의 수업행동과는 밀접한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 수업지도성의 여러 요인 중 직접적 수업지도성에 해당하는 학업성취 확인이 교감의 주된 수업지도성 발휘 영역임을 알 수 있었다. 교감의 수업지도성과 교사 수업행동을 보다 구체적이고도 실증적으로 파악하기위해 교사 상호평가, 참여관찰 등의 다각적인 접근을 통한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study was to analyze of the teaching behavior of teacher's instruction, teacher's recognition about vice-principal's instructional leadership and to find out the relationship between vice-principal's instructional leadership and teacher's teaching Behavior. For this purpose, we carried out a survey on 282 teachers in active service of the 13 schools selected among each of 11 district office of education and conducted an in-depth interview of 4 interviewees selected in accordance with the result of the study of the survey from 2 November, 2004 to 26 November, 2004. The collecting data were analyzed by SPSS 11.0 and the interview data were analyzed after have been transcribed. As the result, the survey showed as follows: first, the longer career teacher, the higher status teacher showed strong estimate the behavior of their vice-principal's instructional leadership. And, in connection with their class of position, chiefs of teacher set a higher value on it than general teachers. The teaching behavior in accordance with the environmental factors is that it's also affected in same way by their career. Chiefs of teacher gave a higher mark on the rate of teaching behavior of instructors. Second, the relationship of the vice-principal's instructional leadership with the teaching behavior was appeared to have intimate relations showing a high correlation significant of 0.617. In instructional leadership factors, direct instructional leadership factors were appeared. In conclusion, it was recommended to be developed various perspectives in addition to participant observation of vice-principal's instructional leadership and teacher's teaching behavior.

      • 농식품분야 생명산업 현황 및 발전방향

        Background of Research Agriculture plays a major role in bioindustry in that most of the essential raw materials that are used for development of the industry are extracted from by-products of agriculture. The main goal of this research is to identify the status of bioindustry in the agri-food sector, analyze investment and market size, technology level and technology development trends and suggest ways of developing bioindustry in the agri-food sector. Method of Research Bioindustry in the agri-food sector can be classified into four industry branches: Agro-Green Industry, Agro-Blue Industry, Fusion Agro-Green Industry, and Fusion Agro-Blue Industry. Also, an economic analysis was carried out using a variety of analytical methods such as Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and the Delphi technique. Research Results and Implications The types of investment in bioindustry in agriculture vary among government departments. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology invests mostly in industry infrastructure, whereas the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy are focused on investing in industry applications and production. The total market size of bioindustry in the agri-food sector increased 14% in 2010 from 2008. Also, the technology level of 7 industries promoted by the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries stands at about 66~68% level of developed countries and it is expected to increase to 80~82% level in 2014. According to the biotechnology patent activity index, the technology level jumped to the eighth place globally in 2010 from the 15th ranking in 1990. Also, a total of 93 agricultural patents were issued in 2010 by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and this represents a growth of almost six times from 1990. It was also found that bioindustry in the agri-food sector has great ripple effects. The market size is huge and the effects on inducing production and creating added value and jobs are also enormous. According to an AHP analysis conducted among experts, it was found that priority strategies for development of bioindustry in the agri-food sector are as follows, in order of urgency: bioindustry-related technology development(0.57), improvement of legal system and policy (0.29) and market expansion(0.15). First, the technology development of bioindustry should be focused on development of bio-resource application technology, development of evaluation capacity in association with bio-safety and bio-efficacy, development of technology related to analysis and use of genetic information, and development of genetic modification technology. In addition, bioindustry is a labor- intensive industry and thus it requires relatively skilled workers. Second, related laws and institutions should be improved to be in tune with the changing times. The work-overlapping problem is serious among different government ministries, and for this reason role division and collaboration of related ministries should be expanded to solve the problem. In conclusion, the top priority of the government should be placed on creating a favorable business environment for investors and on advancing commercialization of the technology and marketing of the product.

        AHP기법을 이용한 농업관측사업 중장기 발전방향 탐색

        본 연구의 목적은 농산물 수급 및 가격의 안정화를 위해 농업경영인과 소비자 등 시장참여자들이 공급 및 수요 관련 정보를 신속하게 접근할 수 있도록 정부가 수행하고 있는 농업관측사업의 중장기 발전 방향을 도출하는데 있다. 이 연구는 농업관측센터 관측요원과 농업관측 자문위원 등 전문가들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과를 토대로 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 기법을 이용하여 농업관측사업의 중장기 발전방향을 도출하였다. 설문조사는 농업관측사업에 참여하고 있는 전문가 70명을 대상으로 전자 메일 및 전화조사를 통해 수행하였고, 설문결과 중 문제가 있다고 판단되는 응답을 제외 하고 최종 24명의 설문결과를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 관련 전문가들은 농업관측사업 중장기 발전을 위해서 관측사 업의 적시성과 관측정보의 정밀도 제고가 이루어져야 한다고 응답했다. 구체적으로 농업관측요원들은 적시성 제고를 꼽았으 나, 관련 실무자들(관측자문위원)들은 정밀도 제고가 보다 중요한 것으로 판단하고 있었다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the outcomes of experts’ survey for the agricultural outlook program, and finally suggests the direction and long-term plan for the improvement of this program. Agents and consultants in the agricultural outlook center were surveyed in order to develop a long-term plan and improvement direction for this agricultural outlook program, and the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) was used for analysis. The survey was carried out on 70 experts in Agricultural Outlook Center and finally, the statistical effective 24 questionnaires were used to analyze. The analysis showed that the most important factor for its long-term improvement plan was the enhancement of timeliness in overall. Particularly, outlook agents weighted more on timeliness for long-term planning, but consultants on accuracy.
