        본 연구팀에서는 마이크로 컴퓨터를 이용하여 분산 처리 시스템을 구성하였고, 본 논문에서는 시스템 구성을 위하여 Kernel Processor 간의 Protocol 을 설계 제작하고 Host와 kernel processor 간의 protocol을 구현 하였다.

        Defect states of transition metal-doped MgO for secondary electron emission of plasma display panel

        High secondary electron emission (SEE) yield is one of the important properties of MgO for industrial applications such asalternating-current plasma display panel (AC-PDP), which reduces the firing voltage for discharge. SEE induced by lowenergyNe and Xe ions can be described by potential emission mechanism of Auger neutralization. Defect states in MgO canplay an important role in enhancing the SEE. The electronic density of states of Ti-, Cr-, Fe-, Ni-, Zn-doped and undopedMgO was calculated using CASTEP. The occupied defect levels of the Ti-, Cr-, Fe-, Ni- and Zn-doped MgO are at 5.23,3.90, 2.76, 1.22 and 0.06 eV above the valence band, respectively. Higher defect level appears to be advantageous for gettinglarger SEE yield. Considering the fact that Ti-doped MgO reveals n-type conductivity, Cr seems to be the proper dopantamong the studied elements for the purpose of high SEE yield in AC-PDP.

        Effect of C and H contamination on the MgO surface properties studied using the first-principles method

        In the former experiment, the effect of aging temperature on the discharge characteristics of the magnesium oxide (MgO) film of the alternating-current plasma display panel was investigated from the point of view of surface contamination. It was found that C and H surface contamination can affect the surface properties, such as the surface conductivity and secondary electron emission (SEE) yield, of the MgO surface. For a better understanding of the effect of C and H contamination on the MgO surface properties, the electronic structures of C- and H-adsorbed MgO (100) surfaces were calculated through the first-principles method, using Cambridge Serial Total Energy Package. The occupied defect levels of the C-adsorbed MgO (100) surface, which lie in the mid-gap, play an important role in the potential emission mechanism of SEE. More C contamination at the MgO surface can induce more SEE and can thus reduce the firing voltage for discharge. The Fermi level of the H-adsorbed MgO (100) surface cuts the bottom edge of the conduction band, which means that the H-adsorbed MgO (100) surface reveals n-type conductivity. More H contamination at the MgO surface can reduce the wall charge accumulation ability and can thus increase the sustain voltage for discharge.

        지속적인 운동 프로그램의 실시 유·무가 초등학생의 체격과 체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the difference on physique and physical fitness of the fifth and sixth grade elementary school students on regular exercise program during the semester through PAPS(physical activity promotion system) in Busan. The participants for this study were 1487 students, composed of 387 participated exercise program students and 1100 non-participated jogging program students. The measure of physique(height and weight) and physical fitness(body mass index: BMI, physical efficiency index: PEI, grip strength, trunk flexion, standing long jump, physical fitness level) were analyzed between exercise group and non-exercise group in elementary school students. The test data were analyzed in independent t-test, using the Statistical Package for SPSS version 17.0 for Windows. And the alpha level of p < .05 was set for all tests of significance. The result of this study were as follows;First, In physique, height and weight had significantly increased in the 5th grade boys, and weight had significanty increased in the 5th and 6th grade girls participated in exercise program. Secondly, In physical fitness, PEI and grip strength had significantly increased in the 6th grade boys and girls. Also, PEI, grip strength and standing long jump had significantly increased in the 5th grade boys, and PEI, grip strength, trunk flexion and standing long jump in the 5th grade girls. Physical fitness level had significantly decreased in the 5th grade boys and girls group.

      • 젖소의 번식성적과 분만후 혈장내 Vitamin E 및 Selenium에 관한 연구

        In this study, records of 33 cows from 20 farms were studied for herd size, feeding career, breeding record, milk yield by parity, days of dry period, days at 1st AI, number of AIs per conception, birth interval, reproductive disorder, and retention of afterbirth. And also vitamine E and selenium contents for 3 to 9 weeks after calving to find relationships with primipara age, age, dry period, days at 1st calving, hours of afterbirth, days of vaginal discharge. This study was conducted to examine the association of reproductive characteristics of dairy cows with improvement of production performance. The results were as follows; 1. For the effect of herd size on reproductive performance, farms with more than 16 multiparous cows showed 2.6 days, 23.6 days, and 23.5 days shorter for dry period, days open, and birth interval respectively. And also, reproductive disorder was 3.4% lower than other farm sizes. For the effect of feeding career, farms with over 12 years of feeding career, dry period, days open, and birth interval were 2.1 days, 14.3 days, and 14.4 days shorter, respectively, and number of AIs per conception and reproductive disorder were reduced by 0.4 and 0.8%, respectively. 2. The herds with reproductive records keeping showed 21.9 days and 22.0 days shorter for days open and birth interval, respectively, than those without reproductive records keeping. And also, number of AIs per conception and reproductive disorder were reduced by 0.5 and 3.7% respectively. For the farms with annual milk production over 6,100㎏, dry period, days open, birth interval, and days at 1st AI were 3.7 days, 17.4 days, 17.3 days, and 0.7 day, respectively shorter than those with annual milk production less than 6,100㎏. The number of AIs per conception, reproductive disorder, and retention of afterbirth were also reduced by 0.1, 3.3%, and 3.4%, respectively. 3. For the herds with the level of vitamin E less than 7.0㎍/㎖ in blood serum 3 weeks after calving, dry period and retention of afterbirth were reduced by 4.5 days and 2.9%, respectively. For the farms with the level of vitamin E greater than 7.0㎍/㎖ in blood serum 3 weeks after calving, reproductive disorder and retention of afterbirth were reduced by 7.9% and 1.4%, respectively. 4. For the herds with primipara age less than 24 months, dry period and number of AIs per conception were reduced by 3.8 days and 0.2 respectively. In 3 to 9 weeks after calving, blood serum content was 4.8ng/㎖ more and hours of afterbirth and days of vaginal discharge was reduced by 0.5 hr and 1.9 day, respectively. 5. For the herds with cows age less than 48 month, days open and birth interval were 14.5 days and 23.6 days longer, respectively. The vitamin E content in blood serum was 0.9㎍/㎖ less but selenium content was 4.2ng/㎖ higher. The hours of afterbirth and days of vaginal discharge were reduced by 1.2 hr and 0.8 day. 6. For the herds with the level of vitamin E less than 7.0㎍/㎖ in blood serum 9 weeks after calving, dry period, days open, birth interval, and days of vaginal discharge were reduced by 8.4 days35.9 days, 45.6 days, and 3.6 days, respectively. However, for the herds with selenium content greater than 90ng/㎖, dry period, number of AIs per conception, hours of afterbirth, and days of vaginal discharge were reduced by 3.3 days, 0.3, 0.5 hr, and 1.8 day, respectively. 7. The vitamin E content in blood serum was 6.3 ㎍/㎖ in 2 weeks after calving and increased to 12.3㎍/㎖ in 6 weeks after calving. The selenium content was 38.2ng/㎖ in 2 weeks after calving and showed 62.3 to 66.7ng/㎖ in 7 to 9 weeks after calving.

      • 귀전우 Methanol Extract와 Water Extract가 Mouse 세망내피계의 탐식작용 및 간장, 비장에서의 Carbon침착에 미치는 영향

        Effects of methanol extract and water extract of Euonymi Lignum Suberalatum on the phagocytic activity of mouse reticuloendothelial system were studied by the carbon clearance method in normal mice and in carrageenan-treated mice. The results obtained are as follows ; 1. In normal mice, the clearance-rate of carbon was significantly shortened 1 hour after the administration of water extract.(100, 200 and 400㎎/㎏, p.o., one time, one time/day for 2 days or one time/day for 3 days) 2. In carrageenan(inhibitor of macrophage activity)-treated mice, the clearance-rate of carbon was significantly shortened 1 hour after the administration of water extract.(100, 200 and 400㎎/㎏, p.o., one time/day for 3 days) 3. Water extract activated the phagocytosis of carbon by Kupffer cells in the liver(100, 200 and 400㎎/㎏, p.o., one time/day for 3 days) and by macrophage in the spleen.(100, 200 and 400㎎/㎏, p.o., one time/day for 3 days) According to these results, water extract of Euonymi Lignum Suberalatum promotes the phagocytic activity on the reticuloendothelial system in mice and has a stimulatory effect on macrophage better than methanol extract does.
