한옥선 배달말학회 2012 배달말 Vol.50 No.-
I found several intrinsic images that appeared repeatedly in Ju Hong Lee’s fairy tale works. These images were formed a kind of the big stream in the whole of his literary works. I divided these archetypal images into the image of fire, water, road, color. I gave the analysis into a trial his representative works that revealed well archetypal image - namely 「Ancient Goryo grandmother’s funeral」, 「Flatfish and globe-fish」, 「Green frog」, 「Echo」. 「Don’t cry yeoniya」. After all, I assert the next significant opinions through comparative analysis. First, generally we can find the four images of fire covering the whole work 「Ancient Goryo grandmother’s funeral」 - a)an aggressive image of fire that can destroy everything, b)a taboo image involving basic symbol that son’s house is on fire. c)the image of eternal reborn between a grandmother’s sacrifice and purified life, d)the evil image in great flames, e)the horizontal image of fire through flames descending from mountain. Second, the image of water is widely contained his two works 「Flatfish and globe-fish」, 「Green frog」. The image of water express the character of Anima that remind us of death and unrunning water plainly in his work 「Flatfish and globe-fish」. We can see that water hold the image of purification through 「Flatfish and globe-fish」’s vomitting of abdomen full of oil and been cake. In 「Green frog」, the image of creation is represented through unrunning water of the pound. Third, the image of road is showed his work 「Echo」. That image is contained of passing ceremony as his elder sister’s wedding and the wrench of parting. And that image is displayed the wandering Dolli’s course that roaming rough mountain with longing his elder sister. The image of road express the birth and parting between the elder sister’s leaving and birth of a calf. And then, We can find well the both Oedipus Complex and the pain of growth. Fourth, the image of color is revealed in 「Don’t cry yeoniya」. Its image in his works consist of red bottle, white bottle, blue bottle. The opening image is showed up a reformation of flesh in a moment when the girl scattered the drug of white bottle to the dead boy. The dead boy was vitalized when the girl scattered the drug of red bottle to him. The color of bottles represent the image of relevant to blood like revival and passion and disorder. Reincarnation was completed as the good images between death and rebirth when scattered the drug of blue bottle. As a result of considering four images, we can understand Ju Hong Lee’s literary works are connected an permanent paradise as circulation from death to birth and vitalization. I agree N·Frye’s opinion that basic intrinsic points of natural human being equal to the exchange of life and death through sacrifice, paradise, birth, revival from above Lee’s works. Accordingly, the four images are used to Ju Hong Lee’s fairy tales works as good samples. The situation of events and characters of his works serve well us universal sympathy and aesthetical value today. 이주홍 동화의 여러 작품에서 반복되어 나타나는 이미지들이 많았다. 이주홍의 작품 전체를 걸쳐 나타나는 원형적 이미지를 불, 물, 길, 색채의 이미지로 나누어 보았다. 이주홍의 동화 즉 신화·원형적 이미지가 잘 드러나는 대표적인 작품이라 생각되는 「고려장 할머니」, 「가자미와 복장이」, 「청개구리」, 「메아리」, 「연이야 울지마」를 비교분석 하였다. 비교분석의 결과를 다음과 같이 제시한다. 첫째, 불의 이미지는 「고려장 할머니」의 작품에 나타나는데 ㄱ)주변에 존재하는 모든 것을 파괴해 버릴 듯한 공격적인 불, ㄴ)할머니의 죽음을 통한 자기희생의 승화와 파괴를 통한 소멸을 보여주는 불, ㄷ)활활 타는 장면 속에서 악마적 파괴 요소를 지닌 불의 양상까지 보여준다. 둘째, 물의 이미지는 작품 「가자미와 복장이」, 「청개구리」에서 나타난다. 「가자미와 복장이」는 움직이는 빗물과 고인 물을 통해 창조와 생명을 연상시키는 아니마적 성격을 보여주고, 또 가자미와 복장이가 물을 마시고 배 속에 가득 든 기름과 두부를 토해냄으로써 정화와 생성의 이미지도 함께 가짐을 나타내었다. 「청개구리」에서는 연못의 물을 통해 자정 이미지를 보여주고, 물 위에 떠 있는 꽃배를 통해 어머니의 모습을 연상시킨 회귀로서의 물 이미지를 나타내 주었다. 셋째, 길의 이미지는 작품 「메아리」에서 나타난다. 결혼과 이별을 통한 슬픔의 통과의례적인 길 이미지, 떠나버린 누나를 그리워하며 험한 산길을 헤매는 돌이가 걷는 유랑의 길 이미지, 누나의 떠남을 통한 오이디푸스 콤프렉스의 극복과 송아지의 태어남의 대비로 성장과 자아형성의 재생을 나타내는 길 이미지이다. 넷째, 색채의 이미지는 「연이야 울지마」에서 잘 볼 수 있다. 이 색채의 이미지를 작품 안에서 붉은 물병, 흰 물병, 푸른 물병을 통해 보여주고 있다. 소녀가 죽은 소년의 해골에 흰 물병의 약을 뿌리자 살이 붙음으로 열림의 이미지를 보여주었고, 붉은 물병의 약을 뿌리자 피가 돌았다. 이것은 피와 연관됨으로 상처나 흔적을 통하여 탄생의 이미지를 나타내고 있으며, 푸른 물병의 약을 뿌리자 숨이 돌아옴으로써 죽음과 재생의 이미지를 잘 표현해 주었다. 프라이가 주장한 위의 네 이미지를 비교 해 본 결과 이주홍의 작품들에서 공통적으로 죽음이 탄생과 재생으로 이어지면서 인간이 원초적으로 추구하는 영원한 낙원으로 연결됨을 볼 수 있었다.

각 나라의 언어는 인류 보편적 인식을 포함하고 있을 뿐 아니라. 나라마다의 전통과 풍습, 문화적 특징을 포함하고 있기 마련이다. 문화는 그 범위가 방대하여 그 내용과 특징을 찾아내고 확인하기가 어려운데 이 점이 한국어를 학습하는 학습자들의 문화 이해의 가장 큰 어려움이다. 이러한 문화이해의 어려움을 가장 효율적으로 해결하는 방법이 언어를 통한 문화의 이해인데, 그 중 관용어가 가장 한국의 풍부한 문화를 담고 있기 때문에 관용어를 비교하여 학습에 활용하는 것이 유의미하다고 본다. 본고에서는 한국의 문화를 풍부하게 담고 있는 한국어 관용어와 몽골의 관용어를 비교하여, 두 관용어 표현과 의미 관계들의 유사점과 차이점의 발견을 통해 학습자들의 학습을 돕고, 더욱 능숙한 한국어 사용자가 될 수 있는 가능성을 발견할 수 있다. The language of each country not only contains universal recognition of humanity. Each country includes traditions, customs, and cultural features. Culture is so vast that it is difficult to find and identify its contents and characteristics, which is the biggest difficulty of Koreans" understanding of culture. The most effective way to solve these difficulties of cultural understanding is to understand culture through language. Among them, idioms contain the richest culture of Korea. This paper compares Korean idioms with rich Korean culture and Mongolian idioms to help learners learn through the similarities and differences between two idiom expressions and semantic relations, and to discover the possibility of becoming more proficient Korean users.
