The model and its example were provided to predict wood production for a district forest planning. The method of Gentan probability is widely accepted for the prediction of wood production. The suggested model is different in the decision of cutting age distribution from that of Prof. Suzuki; the former can use either Weibull distribution or Gamma distribution, but the latter is possible only by Gamma distribution. This developed system can be used not only for establishing a district forest planning, but also for providing forest management information, such as periodic harvest volume, growing stock, labor requirement, and so forth.

지역삼림계획에 있어서 목재생산을 예측하는 모델을 작성하고 그 계산예를 제시하였다. 생산예측의 방법으로서 減段率法이 이용되고 있다. 鈴木는 감마분포에 의해서 삼림의 수명을 결정하지만 본 예측모델에서는 현재 삼림의 수명 분포로서 적당하다고 생각되는 와이블분포나 감마분포중 어느쪽을 사용해서라도 목재생산을 예측할 수 있도록 시스템화 하였다. 본 시스템은 분기별 수확량, 축적량, 노동량 등의 경영정보를 제공하게 되며 지역삼림계획 책정에 있어 유효한 수단으로 이용될 수 있을 것이다.
수도권 대기오염의 공간분포 특성을 고려한 지속가능한 개발방향과 과제

In recent years increased importance has been placed on the sustainability and environmental concerns in land use decisionmaking process. This paper intends to conceptualize the strategic frameworks for Seoul Metropolitan Area(SMA)’s sustainable development, based on limiting area-wide spatial distribution of high air pollution. In order to examine the negative impacts of 6 extensive residential sites development plans on air quality, pilot study is done. The tentative estimation on social cost from urban sprawl surrounding Seoul City ranges from 28 billion won/year along Kimpo·KangHwa axis to 144 billion won/year along SungNamㆍBunDangㆍYongIn axis. Taking account of such externalities, SMA needs to prepare a comprehensive air quality improvement plan, including detailed action programs. However, more urgent job is to be considered: it requires innovative environment-friendly urban land-use plan/policy alternatives as well as analysis tools that can implement/evaluate the broad-ranging impacts of some possible development strategies on air quality. This incorporates both how control land-use and what kinds of alternatives together which might help improve air quality in Seoul Metropolitan Area, where air pollution issues can be tabled, discussed, and analyzed.
