채만식의『옥랑사』연구 - 역사인식과 현실인식의 상관성을 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to investigate the interrelation between the historical consciousness and the recognition of the reality focused on 〈Ongnangsa(玉娘祠)〉 in Chae, Man-sik"s historical narratives. As a results, the protagonist became common subject through the adventure of time. But there was a pessimistic view of history because he taked a skeptical view about the people"s potentials and common actions. And the protagonist disclosed a mental regression. Therefore, it was the core of Chae"s historical consciousness that korean history was the order of injustices. This consciousness based on Chae"s a understanding of the realty that not found a propelling subject of history and a vision of the future.

This present study investigates literary journals or magazines in Busan. Especially focus on a geographical quality and literary movement, this study aims to describe both traits and outcomes of literary magazines. It can be summarized as follow: 1. The literary journals of Busan unfold from a short life through differentiation to diversity. The literary coterie magazines become the mainstream of the journal. The poetry dominants in a genre, and the special magazines matured and quarterly magazines established. 2. From beginning, the regional magazines of Busan recognize a regional inequality and assume the form of literary movement. But because of difficulty in management of a medium, the subjects of movement want a patronage. The regional media competed with different magazines in the inside. In the process, they exhibited a different recognition abut regional particularity. The regional literary magazines pluralize a recognition about literature and democratize writing. Especially the district magazines show a aesthetic relationship with the specific place. At the same time, the regional magazines pursuit a universality, anti-ideology and globalization. 3. The most important journals in Busan are 『the vision』(전망) and 『the horizon』(지평). Each one of two pursuits the ontological strategy of culture and the functional strategy of culture. The aim of this study is to interpret the inner logic and value in Kim Nam-Chun's theories of the novel. The conclusion can be summarized as follows. Nam-Chun recognized the historicity of the novel and the dissonance between the form-giving and the resistance of the reality. The reformation of the novel through mores, family history, chronicle is the method of coping with this dissonance. But, his proposal excludes the author's social speech and so can't solve the problem. Totality and typicality are his methodological concepts. Therefore, the road to Epic is in itself despair forced by the reality.
1930년대 가족사소설의 이데올로기 지향 연구 : -Especially with Chae Man-Shik's Works- 채만식의 가족서사를 중심으로

The aim of this study is to interpret the ideological orientation in Chae Man-Shik's family history narratives. The conclusion can be summargzed as following. What underlies Chae Man-Shik's narratives of family is a kind of symbolic parricide. While his narratives are putting an emphasis on the historical task of modernization, they have a tendency towards bourgeois nationalism. Since his narratives are basically concealing the oppression on the poor peasant class, the anti-imperial impulse in the bourgeois nationalism he embodies in his narratives ends up in mere passive moments of anti- feudal modernization. A revolutionary family he describes in his works is revealed as acting out a kind of symbolic resolution of historical contradiction between the classes of rich and poor farmer. This act of imaginary resolution can be interpreted as a struggle of the writer himself to shake off his persistent sense of historical guilt, in other words, the obsessed feeling of being alienated in the society.
