The purpose of this study is to consider the characteristics of Latin American style expressed in modern fashion. Latin American fashion has been overlooked the influences, scope and diversity of dress within this world culture region. So, this study aim to unravel the history and significance of Latin American fashion. As for the research methodology, to classify types of the Latin American fashion style theoretical study and content analysis for Vogue magazine has been undertaken. In this study, the term of Latin American fashion style refers to the dress of common characteristics involving Latin American culture. To inquire into the characteristics of the types, various cases has been searched through books, internet, and designer`s collections. The results of this study can be summarized as followings. The major types of Latin American fashion style are Indio-ethnic style, tropical-exotic style, and latin-romantic style. First, Indio-ethnic style has been involving traditional costumes and patterns which are originated in ancient Mexico and Peru. Second, tropical- exotic style has been involving bright color, tropical fruit and African flower pattern, various textures, and relaxed silhouette which are inspired by free and easy culture in Brazil and the Caribbean. Third, latin-romantic style has been involving the mix of Latin American tradition and romantic detail such as see-through material, lace, ruffle, spanish flower motif. In conclusion, Latin American style on contemporary fashion is based on interest to cannibalize folk theme, technique, icons and exotic others.

일본 전통 민화에 나타난 복식미 - 에도시대를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 일본 전통 민화 속 미인화(美人画)를 통해 고소데(小袖)의 복식미를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구의 범위는 에도시대(江戶時代:1603~1867)를 중심으로 문헌연구와 실증연구로 나누어 기술하였다. 문헌연구는 일본 전통 민화에 관련된 전문서적과 국내에 발표된 선행논문을 중심으로 하였고 실증연구는 미인화가 그려진 전문서적을 바탕으로 시대별로 나누어 살펴보았다. 도출한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우아미의 다테는 인간 본능인 꾸밈의 미의식을 반영한 결과로 단순한 형태의 고소데에 중첩 착장과 중첩 문양을 통해 일본만의 독특한 복식미를 보여주었다. 둘째, 사계절의 애틋한 마음을 표현한 자연미의 모노노 아와레는 고소데라는 전통 복식을 통해 일본의 사계절을 문양과 색채를 통해 나타내었고 이는 자연과 하나가 되고 싶은 마음을 고소데를 통해 나타내었다. 셋째, 간결미의 와비와 사비는 일본 선종과 결합한 미의식으로 불필요한 것은 제거하고 필요한 것만 남겨두는 것으로 이는 의복으로서의 필요한 부분만 가지고 있는 고소데 자체를 의미하고 있었다. 넷째, 절제미의 이키는 에도시대 서민의 미의식을 반영한 것으로 저채도의 색상과 기하학적인 문양을 사용하여 일본만의 독특한 미적 특성을 복식으로 보여주었다. 위의 내용을 살펴봄으로써 일본이라는 나라의 복식적 특수성을 이해하고 발견하였다. This study examines the doubles beauty of kosode through beauty in traditional Japanese folk paintings. The scope of the study was described by dividing it into literature studies and empirical studies, focusing on the Edo period(1603-1867). The literature study focused on professional books related to traditional Japanese folk paintings and preceding papers published in Korea, and empirical studies were divided into periods based on professional books with beautiful paintings. The results are as follows. First, elegance Date is a result of reflecting the aesthetic sense of decoration, which is a human instinct, and showed Japans unique doubles beauty through overlapping clothes and overlapping patterns on a simple form of kosode. Second, Monono Aware, a natural beauty that expresses the affection of the four seasons, expressed the four seasons of Japan through patterns and colors through a traditional costume called kosode, which expressed the desire to be one with nature through kosode. Third, the Wabi and Sabi of the Concise Beauty is an aesthetic sense combined with Japanese Zen, removing unnecessary things and leaving only the necessary things, which meant kosode itself, which had only the necessary parts as clothing. Fourth, the Iki reflects the aesthetic consciousness of the common people of the Edo period, and uses low chroma colors and geometric patterns to show Japans unique aesthetic characteristics in doubles. By looking at the above, I understood and discovered the doubles specificity of Japan.

교사와 학부모의 선호 경향을 바탕으로 한 유치원복 디자인 개선 방안

유치원복은 아동들이 유치원 소속임을 나타내며 아동의 활동에 편리하고 의복 구입비를 절약할 수 있으므로 학부모와 교사들 모두 착용을 희망하였으나 착용 중인 유치원복들은 선호 경향과는 차이가 있어 개선이 필요하다. 유치원복의 디자인은 아동의 활동성,과 편리성, 학부모 및 교사의 관리성을 고려한 기능성을 우선적으로 고려하며 아동을 예쁘게 보이게 하는 심미성과 유치원을 나타내는 상징성을 고려하여야 한다. 유치원복을 구성하는 형태들은 유니폼으로서의 격식과 단정함, 아동의 활동성을 고려한 형태들로 각각 개선하여 세미정장 스타일과 트레이닝 스타일의 특성을 모두 반영하여야 하겠다. 유치원복들의 색상은 대부분 어두운 톤을 사용하고 있어 어린이다운 산뜻함과 발랄함을 표현하지 못하고 있을 뿐 아니라 선호 경향과도 다르므로 아동의 밝고 명랑함을 나타내는 원색톤 혹은 파스텔톤으로 개선하는 것이 바람직하겠다. 문양은 유치원 로고로 유치원을 나타내는 상징성을 표현하고 체크로 어른스러운 단정함을 반영하며 무지를 함께 배색한다면 바람직한 배합이 될 것이다. For the most important thing to make better kindergarten uniform, teachers and parents both pointed out functionality. For the second-most-important thing, teachers pointed out a symbolic design showing the kindergarten, but parents pointed out beautiful design. For the style of the uniform, formal suit was widely used now. However, teachers preferred training suit and parents preferred semi formal suit according to the survey. Therefore, future kindergarten uniforms should be made considering not only formality but also activeness. According to the survey, teachers preferred the kindergarten`s logo pattern, and parents preferred checkered pattern. Therefore, future kindergarten uniforms should be made by carefully combining logo, checkered, and plain pattern to get synergy effect. For the color of the uniform, dark tone was widely used for the most of the current winter uniforms. The future kindergarten uniforms should be made with possible combination of two or three colors in vivid tone, which can help expose children`s brightness and cheeriness.

현대 니트 패션에 나타난 에코디자인의 미적 특성

본 연구의 목적은 환경에 미치는 피해를 최소화하면서 동시에 인간 삶의 질 향상, 사회 전체의 공동선 을 추구하는 접근방법인 에코디자인의 미적 특성을 현대 니트 패션 분야를 중심으로 고찰하는데 있다. 연 구 방법은 이론적 연구를 통해 에코디자인의 개념과 접근 방법, 표현 특성을 고찰하고, 실증적 연구로 2000년 이후 세계 4대 컬렉션에 나타난 니트웨어를 대상으로 에코디자인의 특징이 파악되는 사례를 선정하여 고찰하였다. 연구 결과, 현대 니트 패션에 나타난 에코디자인의 미적 특성은 최소성, 기능성, 복합성, 그리고 전통성으로 구분되었다. 최소성은 얇고 가벼운 소재와 구조, 불필요한 기능과 장식의 제거, 단순한 형태, 재료의 낭비를 최소화하는 패턴의 이용, 생산 공정을 간소화하는 무봉제 니트의 특징으로 나타났다. 기능성은 스포츠웨어를 응용한 기능성 직물, 디테일, 아이템의 적용과 리버서블, 모듈화, 비정형적 디자인 등으로 나타났다. 복합성은 다양한 특성의 소재와 문양의 복합성, 수선과 수리의 과정을 암시하는 형태, 손쉬운 조립과 해체가 가능한 디태처블 디자인, 정키 스타일링, 여러 가지 아이템을 믹스 앤드 매치한 리스 타일링 등으로 나타났다. 전통성은 문명에 훼손 되지 않은 원초적 자연성, 전통적인 생산 방식과 관련되는 수공예성, 오랜 기간 지속적으로 이용되는 형태의 클래식 아이템과 문양의 재해석, 그리고 지역 고유의 민속복과 민속 문양을 응용한 민속풍 등으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to consider the aesthetic characteristics of ecodesign on contemporary knit fashion. As for the research methodology, to examine cases of knit fashion relevant to ecodesign characteristics, theoretical study was conducted on the concept of ecodesign and the ecosystem in architecture, product design and fashion. Then, case analysis of knit fashion presented in high fashion designer collections since 2000 was undertaken. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. The aesthetic characteristics of ecodesign on contemporary knit fashion were classified into minimization, functionality, complexity, and traditionality. First, the characteristic of minimization was expressed in lightweight materials and structures, elimination of unessential details and decorations, simple forms, and seamless knit wear. Second, the characteristic of functionality formulated in sportswear inspired details and items, high-tech materials, reversible wear, modules and unconstructed structures. Third, the characteristic of complexity was translated in the complexity of materials, forms implied the process of fix and reform, and there were detachable parts, junky styling and restyling through mix and match of various items. Fourth, the characteristic of traditionality was represented in intrinsic natural styles, hand-knit techniques related to traditional product methods, reinterpretation of classic items and patterns, and ethnic styles from various cultures.
