Although 20 years have passed since the implementation of Koreas first Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Origin vertification remains a significant challenge for businesses. The violation rate of origin import verification still exceeds 50%. In response, this study reviews the processes involved in the origin verification tasks performed by the Korea Customs Service and analyzes the reasons behind origin violations. The analysis reveals that origin verification violations are most frequently observed in the Korea-China FTA, with criteria for origin determination and direct transportation requirements resulting in aditional duty and taxes of approximately KRW 110 million and KRW 470 million per company, respectively. In contrast to previous studies that primarily focused on fragmented case analyses related to origin verification, this research presents a comprehensive examination and cases of verification tasks, representing a novel approach in the study of FTA origin verification.

SFT, which has a high glass fiber content, is one of the effective methods to replace metal and secure weight reduction and price competitiveness. This study evaluated the effect of glass fiber shape on mechanical properties in injection molding by fabricating SFT with a glass fiber content of 60%. Three types of SFTs were manufactured by adding round glass fibers of Φ7 μm and Φ10 μm and flat glass fibers of 27 × 10 μm. DOE (Design of Experiment) conducts to confirm the change in tensile strength due to changes in significant injection conditions. As a result of the experiment, Φ7 μm SFT and flat SFT have similar tensile strength and Φ10 μm SFT showed the lowest tensile strength value. As for the standard deviation of strength value, the Φ7 μm SFT had the largest standard deviation, and the Φ10 μm SFT showed the slightest change in the injection conditions. In flat SFT, it confirms that the tensile strength increased as the molding temperature increased. The fracture surface observes using SEM. It founds that the tensile strength lowers due to the small glass fiber density and many pullouts at the fracture surface of Φ10 μm with weak strength.
퇴원하는 환자의 상처관리에 대한 지식과 염려에 관한 연구

본 연구는 3차병원에서 퇴원하는 환자의 상처관리에 대한 지식과 염려사항을 파악하기 위해 112명의 피부상 처를 지니고 퇴원을 앞둔 112명 환자에게 구조화된 설문지로 면담을 통해 조사하였다. 상처의 유형은 외과적 절개 (52.7%), 삽관상처(26.8%), 욕창(9.8%), 당뇨발과 동맥궤양(5.4%) 등이었다. 상처관리에 관한 지식은 52.0%의 정답률을 보였고, 상처관리에 대한 염려(범위1-7)는 2.79였고, 상처관리에 대한 지식과 염려는 상관관계가 유의하지 않았다. 퇴 원후 상처관리에 관한 염려에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 유의한 변수는 상처관리에 대한 두려움, 상처통증, 입원기간, 및 주관적 건강인식으로 나타났다. 상처를 지니고 퇴원하는 환자들의 상처관리에 대한 지식은 부정확한 것이 많으며 다양한 염려사항들을 가지고 있으므로 퇴원계획시 이에 대한 구체적인 교육이 필요할 것이다. This study was done to examine patients' wound care knowledge and concerns prior to discharge from a tertiary hospital. The participants in this descriptive survey were 112 patients having wounds. During interview, a structured self-administered questionnaire was filled out. The participants were 71 males and 41 females. Wound types were surgical incision (52.7%), percutaneous wound (26.8%), pressure ulcer (9.8%) and diabetic foot and arterial ulcers (5.4%). Their wound care knowledge was 52.0% of correct answer and the mean of concerns (range 1-7) was 2.79. There was no significant correlation between their knowledge and concerns of wound care. The factors influence on wound care concerns were fear of wound care, wound pain, length of hospital stays, and perceived health condition. This findings showed that discharge patients with a wound had some incorrect knowledge and various concerns about wound care. They may help to direct patient teaching in discharge plan.
GaAs/AlGaAs Quantum Cascade Laser에서 Deep Mesa 구조에 의한 문턱전류 감소

GaAs/AlGaAs based quantum cascade lasers were fabricated with two different types of i) the shallow mesa type which was etched up to above active region and ii) the deep mesa type which was etched through active region. While the threshold current density of shallow mesa type was $26-32\;kA/cm^2$, the one of deep mesa type was reduced drastically up to $13\;kA/cm^2$. Such lowered threshold current density at deep mesa type attributed to the reduction of current loss to the lateral directions. GaAs/AlGaAs 물질계를 기반으로 한 양자폭포레이저를 제작하였다. 양자폭포레이저는 활성층의 위까지만 식각된 shallow mesa 구조와 활성층까지 식각된 deep mesa 구조로 제작되었다. shallow mesa 구조의 경우 문턱전류 밀도가 $26-32\;kA/cm^2$이었지만 deep mesa 구조의 경우 문턱전류 밀도는 $13\;kA/cm^2$로 대단히 감소되었다. Deep mesa 구조에서의 문턱전류 감소는 측면 방향으로의 전류 손실이 감소되었기 때문으로 설명되었다.
화학적 빔 에피탁시에 의한 평면구조에서의 InP/InGaAs 다층구조의 선택적 영역 에피 성장

Chemical beam epitaxy 성장법으로 InP/InGaAs 다층구조의 선택적 영역 에피성장 (selective area epitaxy)을 하였다. <011> 방향에 평행한 직선패턴에서는 선폭이 작아지고, <01-1> 방향에 평행한 직선패턴에서는 선폭이 증가하는 현상이 나타났는데 이는 InGaAs의 <311>A와 B면이 <01-1> 방향에 평행한 직선패턴에서 성장되었기 때문으로 설명되었다. 성장속도가 $1\;{\mu}m/h$인 조건에서 5족 가스의 압력이 감소할수록 (100) 면 위에서 평평한 에피층이 성장되었는데 이는 5족 가스의 과포화현상에 의한 3족 원소의 표면이동으로 설명하였다. Selective area epitaxy of multiple-stacked InP/InGaAs structures were grown by chemical beam epitaxy. The width of top of the multiple-stacked InP/InGaAs layer which were selectively grown on the stripe lines parallel to the <011> direction was narrowed, while the width of top of the multiple-stacked InP/InGaAs layer on the stripe lines parallel to the <01-1> was widen. This difference according to the <011> and <01-1> direction was explained by the growth of InGaAs <311>A and B faces on the (100) InP surface on the stripe lines parallel to the <01-1> direction. Under growth rate of $1\;{\mu}m/h$, top of the multiple-stacked InP/InGaAs was flattened as the pressure of group V gas was decreased. This phenomenon was understood by the saturation of group V element on the surface.
파장대역폭이 넓은 고휘도 발광소자를 위한 Chirped 양자점 구조의 광/전기 특성 분석

크기가 다른 양자점 (chirped 양자점) 구조에 대하여 전기발광 (Electroluminescence, EL) 특성과 광발광 (Photoluminescence, PL) 특성을 측정하고 비교 분석하였다. PL 특성에서는 양자점의 기저준위에 의한 피이크가 우세하게 나타난 반면, EL 특성에서는 여기준위에 의한 특성이 우세하게 나타났다. 이와 같은 특성비교로부터 기저준위도 EL 특성에 영향을 미칠 수 있도록 chirped 양자점 구조를 설계하면 파장대역폭이 더욱 넓은 고휘도 발광소자 개발이 가능할 것임을 제안하였다. We analyzed photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence characteristics of various chirped quantum dot structures. Peaks in EL curves were contributed by excited states of quantum dots (QD), while those in PL curves by grounded states. Based on these characteristics, we suggested that superluminescent diodes with wide spectral bandwidth may be developed if chirped QD structures are designed to make a contribution by ground states to EL characteristics.

About 170 years has been passed since the concept of photovoltaic has been suggested by French physicist Alexandre-Edmond Becquerel. Now the highest efficiency of solar cell has reached up to 44% by III-V multi-junction solar cells with concentrator. Those multi-junction solar cells are suitable as energy source for spaceships. On the other hand, the cell efficiency of solar cell for electric power generation as energy source for Earth has is going to be saturated although commercial solar cell efficiency is around 20%. In the part 1 of this article, the history of III-V multi-junction solar cells which have been adapted for spaceships is explained and in the part 2, new approach for the improvement of cell efficiency is suggested as the energy source for Earth.
