This study was to examine the effects of insurance coverage on the utilization of public health institutions and to identify the factors associated with the utilization. The data were obtained from household interview surveys conducted twice in Hwachun Gun, Kangwon Do. The time period covered in the first survey was December $17{\sim}31$, 1987, before the implementation of regional medical insurance for the self-employed, and that of the second survey was January 28 $\sim$ Febuary 11, 1990, after its implementation. Major findings emerged from the analysis can be summarized as follows (1) Medical care utilization of rural people markedly increased after they were covered by medical insurance. The insurance coverage increased the utilization of public health institutions as well, and this increase was mainly attributable to the utilization by chronically ill patients. (2) Between 1987 and 1990, the proportion of the utilization of public health institutions over whole medical care utilization decreased. But the proportion increased for chronically ill patients covered by regional medical insurance during the same time span. (3) The results of logistic regression suggested that the rural self-employed utilized public health institutions at an increased rate after they were covered by medical insurance. It was also indicated that the increase resulted from the utilization by chronically ill patients. (4) The relative importance of public health institutions for rural medical care decreased after the implementation of regional medical insurance. But considering that the utilization of public health institutions by chronically ill patients increased after insurance coverage, attention should be directed to improving the capability of public health institutions to control chronic degenerative diseases.

The unpredicted worldwide oil price makes the energy efficiency technology be more important than any other period. The small cogeneration system is one of the most representative technology among the energy efficiency technologies. Recently, the household cogeneration system has been the center object of attention because of the loss of power transmission and the reasonable energy consumption policy relative to the household (condensing) boiler producing heat only. Two cogeneration systems based on Stirling engine as primary mover which can produce 1㎾ of electrical output were investigated from various aspects. The electrical efficiency and thermal efficiency of the systems were measured. The experiment was executed at an independent Stirling engine mode, an independent secondary burner mode, and a combined mode. The emission and noise characteristics were also analyzed and compared with each other. The one cogeneration system was superior to the other in the efficiency of electrical power.

Engine emission during cold start below zero temperature condition is one of the issues as the emission emitted during that period covers 80% of the total emission for passenger cars. Spray characteristics(vaporization, atomization and penetration) in the low temperature condition is, therefore, important as they affect engine combustion followed by engine-out emission.<br/> A wide range of injectors were tested and characterized. Spray characteristics were evaluated in two typical temperatures( 15°C and -10°C). Spray characteristics with the DISI and HSDI injectors seemed to be independent on temperatures selected in the reported work while LPG injector exhibited the growth of the liquid droplet size and the increase of liquid penetration to lead a difference of engine combustion condition and engine-out emission.

1898년 갑골문(甲骨文)이 발견된 이후, 100여 년 동안 갑골문 연구의 깊이와 범위는 끊임없이 확대되어 큰 성과로 나타나고 있다. 갑골문은 점친 내용을 정리한 것으로, 기록된 내용은 풍부하고 다채로워, 당시 사회생활의 여러 방면을 다루고 있다. 본문에서는 형벌과 관련된 복사를 주 대상으로 삼아 살펴본 결과, 상대의 형벌을 크게 3종류로 나눌 수 있었다. 첫 번째는 사형류 형벌이다. 사형류 형벌은 죄인의 목숨을 빼앗는 형벌로, 도끼와 같은 것으로 죄인의 머리를 자르는 奚戌刑, 도살이나 살육을 의미하는 途刑, 살을 저미어 육장으로 만드는 ?刑, 창과 같은 무기로 머리를 자르는 伐刑, 사지를 가르고 찢는 ?刑, 불에 태워 죽이는 형벌인 火刑, 그리고 산채로 땅속에 묻는 生埋葬 등이 있었다. 두 번째는 상해류 형벌이다. 상해류 형벌은 인체에 상해를 가하는 것으로, 눈을 찌르는 형벌 이외에도 한쪽 발을 자르는 형벌인 ‘?刑’, 남자의 생식기를 제거하는 형벌인 ‘宮刑’, 코를 자르는 형벌인 ‘?刑’, 귀를 자르는 형벌인 ‘?刑’ 그리고 죄인의 얼굴에 문신을 새기는 형벌인 ‘墨刑’ 또는 ‘?刑’가 있었다. 세 번째는 구금류 형별이다. 구금류 형별에는 줄이나 수갑, 그리고 족쇄와 같은 기구를 이용하여 신체를 구속하는 형벌(拘禁)과 감옥소에 구금(監獄)하는 비교적 가벼운 형벌이 있었다. 물론 본문은 단지 상대 형벌과 관련된 복사를 수집하여 분석한 것이기에, 결코 상대 모든 상황에 대한 전면적인 이해라 할 수 없다. 그러나 만일 이러한 연구 방법을 운용하여, 더욱더 많은 갑골문과 복사(卜辭)에 대하여 전면적인 분석을 한다면, 상대를 포함한 고대 중국인의 생활에 대하여, 더욱더 구체적이고, 정확한 내용을 연구할 수 있다고 생각한다. Shang-dynasty punishment attempt Oracle-bone were divided into three groups. First, Death punishment:Be heading punishment(奚戌刑), Slaughter punishment(途刑), Minced meat pickled meat punishment(?刑), Cutting torture punishment(伐刑), Tearing off limbs as punishment(?刑), Be burnt alive punishment(火刑), Burying alive punishment(生埋葬). Second, Injury of the body and soul punishment:Cut off the feet as punishment(?刑), Castration punishment(宮刑), Cut off the nose as punishment(?刑), Cut off the ear as punishment(?形), Tattooing the face punishment(墨刑). Third, Confinement punishment:Fetters punishment(拘禁), Detain prisoners punishment(監獄). Of course, because this text was collected and analyzed through the punishment of Shang-dynasty, it was never complete understanding of the situation. However, If you use these research methods and analye many Oracle-bone inscription, you can research more specific and accurate information about the ancient Chinese life, including Shang-dynasty.
