        행렬도에서 군집분석의 활용

        행렬도 (biplot)는 이원표 자료행렬 (two-way data matrix)의 행과 열을 그래프에 동시에 나타내어 이들의 관계를 살피려는 다변량 그래프적 분석기법이다 (Gower와 Hand, 1996; 최용석, 2006, 1장). 그래프적 분석기법은 그 특성상 대용량 자료를 해석하는 데는 어려움이 따른다. 따라서, 자료를 효과적으로 줄일 수 있는 군집분석을 활용하여 원자료와 변수간의 행렬도가 아닌 각 군집과 변수간의 행렬도 분석을 수행함으로써, 기존의 행렬도에서 해석의 어려웠던 대용량 자료에 대한 해석이 가능하게 되며, 자료에 대한 정보를 쉽게 파악할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. Biplots are the multivariate analogue of scatter plots. They approximate the multivariate distribution of a sample in a few dimensions, typically two, and they superimpose on this display representations of the variables on which the samples are measured(Gower and Hand, 1996, Chapter 1). And the relationships between the observations and variables can be easily seen. Thus, biplots are useful for giving a graphical description of the data. However, this method does not give some concise interpretations between variables and observations when the number of observations are large. Therefore, in this study, we will suggest to interpret the biplot analysis by applying the K-means clustering analysis. It shows that the relationships between the clusters and variables can be easily interpreted. So, this method is more useful for giving a graphical description of the data than using raw data.

        행렬도 시스템(BIPLOTS SYSTEM)의 개발

        행렬도(biplots)란 행과 열을 그래프에 동시에 나타내어 이들의 관계를 살피려는 다변량 그래픽분석 기법이다. 이를 활용하기 위해서 사용자들이 수작업으로 일일이 프로그래밍해야 했던 불편함엣 벗어나 GUI(Graphic User Interface)환경으로 메뉴에 의해서 사용하기에 편한 행렬도 시스템의 개발을 소개한다. 구체적으로 본 시스템의 개발 방법, 과정, 구성 그리고 예제를 통해 실행결과를 확인하고 결론을 통해 추후 연구과제와 발전방향을 제시한다. Many users have made the most often use of the SAS system in statistical data analysis all over the world. But it is difficult to use the grand procedures and language of the SAS system. Therefore the side of program development has changed in the graphic-oriented and menu-centered way like SASj ASSIST, SASjINSICHT after a version 6.08 turned into the Window environment. A biplots is a multivariate data analysis technique that graphically describes both relationships among the multidimensional observations and relationships among the variables. But there were not the procedure and graphic interface for a biplots algorithm in the SAS system. In this paper, there are two objects. First, we supply users with the convenience of the environment of CLI, which is constructed with SASj AF and SCL, to solve the problem that we have programed a biplots algorithm with the SASjIML one by one. Second, we reflect the current of the Information Age which means the spread of various kinds of system construction to extract useful information from data with the help of the development of hardware and software.

        89-92 한국 프로야구의 각 팀과 부문별 평균 성적에 대한 추가적 주성분분석의 응용

        크기가 $n \times p$인 자료행렬에서 p개의 변수들과 성격이 다소 다른 $p_s$개의 변수를 같이 고려한 크기가 $n \times (p + p_s)$ 자료행렬이 있다 하자. 전통적 주성성분분석은 성격이 다른 변수들로 인하여 효과적인 결과를 제공하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 이런 점을 개선하기 위해서 성격이 다른 $p_s$개의 변수를 추가변수로 두는 추가적 주성분분석을 소개하려 한다. 이 기법은 전통적 주성분분석의 대수적,기하적인 면을 따른다. 그리고 전통적 주성분분석과 추가적 주성성분분석을 활용한 한국 프로야구의 8개팀과 1982-1992년 동안의 14개의 부문별 기록에 대한 전형적인 자료분석의 한 예를 제시한다. 더불어 두 분석의 결과도 비교하였다. Given an $n \times p$ data matrix, if we add the $p_s$ variables somewhat different nature than the p variables to this matrix, we have a new $n \times (p+p_s)$ data matrix. Because of these $p_s$ variables, the traditional principal component analysis can't provide its efficient results. In this study, to improve this problem we review the supplementary principal component analysis putting $p_s$ variables to supplementary variable. This technique is based on the algebraic and geometric aspects of the traditional principal component analysis. So we provide a type of statistical data analysis for the records of eight teams and fourteen fields of the 1982-1992 Korean Pro Baseball Data based on the supplementary principal component analysis and the traditional principal component analysis. And we compare the their results.

        Analysis of Combined Productivity of Equipments in Container Terminal

        The objective of this paper is to analyze the combined productivity of stevedoring system at port container terminal. In general, the productivity of container terminal is evaluated by the productivity of container cranes at apron, but there are other equipments such as transport vehicles and yard cranes. Therefore, a method that can estimate the optimal equipment combination of stevedoring system in container terminal is proposed. From the application of the case study, we demonstrated the savings effect using mean waiting time rates by the equipment combinations. We performed various simulation experiments and estimated the equipment combinations to increase the productivity and to decrease the waiting time between equipments. From the results of the simulation analysis, we demonstrated that bottleneck occurs in TC (Transfer Crane) including TC waiting and waiting of YT(Yard Tractor) in front of TC. In order to improve the combined productivity and decrease savings effect, the equipment should be change from 10 TCs to 12 TCs.

        이태준의 <解放前後>에 나타난 글쓰기 전략 고찰

        This paper intends to look into the writing strategy minutely that is well brought out in Sang-huh LEE TAE JUN's <Before and after release liberation>. Sang-huh had shown a strong antipathy to the purpose literature that is based in socialism ideology as 'Rider of purity literature' at time that do the 1930s postwar days. However he participated in leftist literature group and devoted himself to create a strong purposive works since release. This indication is appeared in Sang-huh's writing which intended actuality in the late 1930s in preceding and the following. Specially his novel <Before and after release> is created in strategic design of own enlightenment for actuality intention. Therefore it's thesis will be written about rationalization plan of own enlightenment by actuality intention of <Before and after release>. As a result Sang-huh imputed responsibility through circumstance logic in the former of work and tried view of the world that is a farsighted art view and a apprehension of the truth as part of own enlightenment about pro-Japanese as well as deceptive talk of the logical leaping. And he suggested international situation theory for strategy for approval of trusteeship and his political judgment or selection including attitude of pro-Soviet and con-United States in the latter of work. On the same principle, regarding Sang-huh's pro-Japanese and participation of the left wing in the same light with others should be corrected. If the pro-Japanese is the product of a humiliation and a suppression to him, his selection of left wing is due to the outcome of his reflection and prospect.
