        씨부라파의 <커랭너이터>와 김동리의 <등신불> 비교 연구

        This thesis is a comparative study on Thai writer, Sriburapa's short story "Kho Raeng Noi Toe" and Korean writer Gim, Dong-Ri's "Dungsinbul". Both of the stories are written on human beings relying on religion especially Buddhism when they are in crisis or in dilemma. To have a look through Buddhism view, to offer things to temple has been the most important deed in Thai belief. And in the story "Kho Raeng Noi Toe", it is also expressed about an offering to the temple, meanwhile in the story "Dungsinbul" is concerned about killing-to stop killing is believed as a way of making merit. In the past these two bodies of belief were very important, but to enter the present-society, the belief should be changed in terms of an interpretation of the meanings of making good deeds and merits. It could be suggested that we all should seriously think about the belief-how we can carry on such belief, because it is not just offering things to temples or stopping killing but also taking care of the poor or making self-sacrifice for human beings etc. Both of the stories share the same idea of "a seeker after the truth". It is believed that to practice for Mahayana altruistic love is the right thing to do. But in the story "Kho Raeng Noi Toe", the story was initiated in the same local resident, while in the story "Dungsinbul", the story was initiated among people with the same blood. The seeker after the truth in "Kho Raeng Noi Toe" is a living-god-liked Character who empowers others to reach enlightenment in the real living world not in the next life. In "Dungsinbul", the seeker after the truth makes offering by self-burning to death to the Lord Buddha as a self-sacrifice in order to relieve all the suffering lives. And this story gives a vague hint that human beings should have the spirit of self-sacrifice as the seekers after the truth in the real living world.

        개인 행복의 사회적 조건: 태국 작가 드언왓 핌와나의 소설『너무나도 행복한』을 중심으로

        Happiness for an individual presented in the novel asks for a certain social requirement. Feeling happy can be possible in the society where personal characters are respected, whereas it will be suppressed in the society where they are ignored and thought little of. To make circumstances more favorable for individuals' happiness, the idea should prevail that one society could be happy only if one person in that society feels happy. Then, research which gives priority to individual traits should be necessarily conducted. This work does not try to suggest either traditionalism or actualism, but try to graft reality into tradition. Dueanwat Phimwana shows that an old beautiful tradition in which neighbors help each other has been still alive. Protagonist, five years old boy, Kamphon faces his reality and supports himself, without relying on other countries' assistance or surrendering to poverty. In this respect, he plays his role of a grownup in his society, which must be very hard to him. The reason Kamphon can feel happy despite his miserable situation is that he can live on his own way with helping and understanding each other in the society to which he belongs.

        씨부라파의 소설 <우리 다시 만날 때까지>에 나타난 창조적 자본주의

        This paper is to study the thought of the author, who expects the role of the capitalists focusing on reforming the consciousness of the civilian rather than that of the bureaucrats'. In particular, in order to cut off the circulation of the wealth for generations, the successor Komet' awareness and role is regarded relatively effective. Capitalists should be intentively helping others in an effort to redeem and free themselves from their past in which they failed to be aware of the absurd distribution system, feeling not guilty and in which sometimes they turned their face away from it, deliberately ignoring it. They should establish democracy in the careful and creative direction of taking people's shares and duties into consideration. With this philosophy of creative capitalism and their own responsibility for the society, their properties should be used and distributed for the public's sake. The consciousness of the author is that it is very difficult to establish a perfect system due to a variety of interests of a variety of the people whose selfishness and greed is also various. Therefore, the author says, complementarily,cultivating moral standard and social liability for their community should be emphasized. To implement this, the boundary among every class which provokes social separation and hierarchy should be demolished. For people to stand up and to represent themselves as an individual, the boundary iiiieeded to be defined independently, even it is between parents and their children. With an unconditional affection toward all colours, ethnicities and us and others, our lives could be re-made in more abundant and creative ways. The moment we recognize ourselves as members of the communities, we could take care of not only the well-being of our own families, but also the benefits and favor of the public and our communities.

        태국 작가 찻 껍찟띠의 소설 시간 에 나타난 노년 대처론

        Through Time, the Novel of the Thai writer, Chart Kobchitti, this article will explore the coping skills to need for the old age. First of all, we can live in our old age by doing the work that we like. Parents live in the old age as the mind that they must take care of their children with anxiety. If they do not have such family, they live in the old age while doing well the work of the present and future time. In addition, they may live in the old age very miserably if they persist in riches, social position which was in the past but not in the present. Especially, they need to get out of the excessive attachment because avarice to the youth is connected with depression and it shorten the length of the life. Also, this novel make us realize the thought that the patients with old age can be looked after systematically in the asylum for the aged on the level of the social acceptance in the modern society. Individually, we need to have the open mind that the life of the old age can be cared in the place for life in a group like the recuperation place. Though the people or nursing people in the asylum for the aged have no relation by family connection, we can solve anxiety made by the fact that we have no family if we regard them as our family members. If the living is boring and the period for the death time is the old age, the future prospect of human being is dark. However, the future of human being may be continued when we realize the old age as our own future that everyone can not avoid according to the time flow and we have a humble attitude.
