        대맥의 등숙일수와 수량구성요소와의 관계에 대한 유전연구 제I보 대맥의 생리적 성숙기 기준 설정

        Experiments were carried out to establish physiological maturity determination criteria with reference to visibly easy measurement in barley in 1980 at Suweon. Thirty-three cultivars and lines from 500 crossing blocks were classified into 4 heading groups, and 5 variables; moisture content, discoloration of awn, exsertion, lemma and flag leaf were measured. There were highly negative correlations between heading date and ripening periods (r=-0.656$^{**}$ ), so early heading types had longer ripening periods. Comparing with the variables used for maturity determination, moisture content and discoloration of lemma were most sensitive to development of grain-filling. Those two variables, alone or in combination could be used to screen many genotypes of barley for physiological maturity. In determination of maturity with reference to visibly easy measurement, color of lemma changed stably and was the most useful way and discolor of flag leaf increased the accuracy of determination. The color of lemma at this time was Grayish yellow, and the mean moisture content was about 33 percent in 33 barley cultivars and lines.

        電氣傳導度 및 Triphenyl Tetrazolium Chloride를 利用한 차나무 耐凍性 檢定方法 確立

        Simple reproducible procedures are described for assessing freezing injury of tea leaf involving controlled freezing of excised leaves and measurements of leached electrolytes and reduction of 2, 3, 5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC) to a water~insoluble red formazan. The results showed that two methods had highly significant linear regression (R² = 0.757), suggesting TTC test had an advantage that a small amount of tissue (30~80 mg) is required. The two methods can be used in selection and breeding for freezing resistance in tea.

        韓國 野生茶 遺傳資源의 品質 特性에 의한 品種群의 分類

        The genetic relationship among Korean native tea tree germplasm based on chemical constituets is required to increase the efficiency of breeding. This work was done to classify 63 native tea tree lines by 7 chemical constituents which were analyzed by NIR system. The principal component and cluster analyses revealed 10 groups. The first group included 3lines that had the traits with lower total nitrogen contents, but higher vitamin C of leaves. The second group included 6 lines having lower free amino acid and theanine contents, but higher catechin contents of leaves. The third group included 2 lines having lower contents of free amino acid and theanine. the 5th group included 67%(42 lines) showing medium values of 7 chemical constituents. The 6th group included 2 lines that had higher caffeine and catechin contents, but lower fiber and vitamin C contents. The 7th group included higher caffeine and catechin contents, but lower theanine and vitamin C contents. The 8th group included lower catechin contents, but higher free amino acid, thenine and vitamin C contents. The 9th group included 2 lines showing lower caffeine and catechin contents, but higher theanine and fiber, and the last group included 1 lines that had lower catechin, but higher total nitrogen, free amino acid and thanine contents of leaves. The free amino acid contents that are the most important in flavor evaluation of green tea quality highly positively correlated with the contents of total nitrogen (0.848**), theanine(0.927**), but negatively with the contents of catechin (-0.501**) and fiber(-0.574**), respectively.
