제조기업의 경쟁우위 확보를 위한 생산전략에 관한 실증적 연구

우리나라 제조기업의 경쟁력 확보의 방향을 제시하고자 본 연구는 제조기업의 생산전략을 권력의 속성요소들을 내포한 Concordance Process와 권력의 다섯 가지 결정요소들을 포함한 파워 프로세스의 관점에서 기업의 경영성과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 인천 경기 지역을 중심으로 전국의 제조기업의 생산책임자를 대상으로 설문조사를 한 후, 수집한 자료를 SPSS의 통계 패키지를 이용하여 처리하였다. 그 결과에 의하면, 권력의 다섯 가지 속성으로 이루어진 Concordance Process는 파워 프로세스에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 이렇게 형성된 파워 프로세스는 기업의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 우리나라 제조 기업들에게 많은 시사점을 제공하리라 기대한다. Based on the perspective of power fundamentals and power process, this study empirically investigated the manufacturing strategy which provided competitive advantages for the manufacturing companies in Korea. To do so, this study conducted the survey to chief production officers in Incheon, Kyoungki, and other provinces, and the data was processed by using the SPSS statistical package. According to the study results, the concordance process had positive impacts on the power process and the power process had positive impacts on the organizational performance. This result can provide many implications for the manufacturing companies in Korea.

환경경영 실행방식과 성과에 대한 원가 우위전략 및 품질 우위전략의 조절 효과에 대한 탐색적 연구

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate if companies’ efforts of environmental management practices have positive effect on the companies’ performance in the first stage of study. In the second stage, we tried to confirm whether the degree of companies’ making efforts on cost leadership strategy and quality leadership strategy function as moderate variable on relationship between environmental management practices and performance. Methods: The collected data through survey were analysed using multiple regression model in the first stage of the study and moderate regression model in the second. Results: The results of this study are as follows; environmental management practices have positive effect on corporate performance. Moreover, much effort on quality leadership strategy has limited significant moderate effect on relationship between environmental management practices and performance, while much effort by companies on cost leadership strategy does not have significant moderate effect on the relationship between the two variables. Conclusion: Manufacturing and services companies in Korea need to make effort for environmental management practices to improve corporate performance. Moreover, if that efforts are combined with quality leadership strategy, they can expect synergy effect with environmental management practices for performance

가구 산업의 효율성 평가와 효율성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 가구 기업의 경영 품질을 진단하고 효율성 제고를 통하여 이 기업들의 경쟁력 확보에 기여하는 것이다. 특히 한국의 가구 산업은 시장포화에 따른 과당경쟁과 가구 기업의 양극화로 중소 가구업체의 생존이 위협받고 있으며 이 에 가구 산업의 경쟁력 확보를 통해 가구 산업의 재도약을 이룰 수 있다. 이를 위한 본 연구의 분석 절차는 먼저 말콤 볼 드리지 평가 모델을 활용하여 경영 품질을 진단하였고, 진단 후에는 데이터 포락 분석을 사용하여 효율성 평가를 시도하 였다. 마지막으로 효율성 분석에서 도출된 효율성을 종속변수로 하는 회귀분석을 실시하여 가구 기업 효율성에 영향을 미 치는 요인들을 탐색하여 이 기업들의 경영 효율성을 개선할 수 있는 시사점을 제공한다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 가구 산업 의 전반적인 경영 품질이 다른 산업에 비해 다소 높은 편이며, 경영 효율성에 있어서 투입 요인들을 줄이고, 규모를 조절 하여 효율성을 제고할 수 있는 기회를 확인하였으며 기업 간 차이도 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 효율성에 영향을 미치는 요인도 발견할 수 있었다. 특히 본 연구는 그동안 말콤 볼드리치 평가 모델을 DEA 분석과 연계하여 종속변수로 이용하 였다는 점과 단순히 DEA 분석에 머무르지 않고, OLS 회귀분석을 이용하여 DEA분석을 보조했다는 점에 있어서 타 논 문과 차별화 된다고 할 수 있다. This research seeks to explore management quality in the furniture industry and to suggest ways of obtaining competitive advantages through the enhancement of efficiency. This research analyzes management quality by employing the Malcolm-Baldridge model, evaluates efficiency by employing Data Envelopment Analysis, and examines factors affecting efficiency by using regression analysis in order to provide meaningful insights to firms. In conclusion, this paper confirmed the fact that management quality in the furniture industry is somewhat higher than other industries, but there is no world class quality firm and there remains heterogeneity in efficiency across firms as well as substantial opportunity for efficiency improvement. Moreover, this research found a few factors affecting efficiency.
