장기간 자원봉사활동자들의 자원봉사 경험에 대한 현상학적 연구

본 연구는 장기간 자원봉사활동자들의 자원봉사 경험을 이해하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 충남 서천군에 거주하며, 자원봉사활동을 지속하고 있는 6명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 중심으로 자료를 수집하였다. 연구는 2019년 9월부터 12월까지 진행되었으며, Giorgi의 현상학적방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 장기간 자원봉사자들의 자원봉사 경험과 관련하여 범주 4개, 하위범주14개, 의미단위 63개가 도출되었으며, 본질적인 주제는 ‘삶 중심의 변화가 가져온 제2의 인생’으로 나타났다. 이는 다양한 동기로 자원봉사를 접하는 ‘기대와 두려움으로 시작’의 과정을 경험하고, 일상적인 삶에서 느끼지 못하는 감동을 느끼는 ‘새로운 경험으로 자원봉사활동 굳히기’과정을 경험한다. 또한 중단의 위기를 겪고 극복하며 ‘봉사활동을 오래도록 이끄는 힘의 원천’을 경험하게 되어 결국 ‘자원봉사활동 속에서 자신의 삶 찾기’과정을 경험한다. 분석결과를 통하여 자원봉사활동을 지속하는 가장 큰 힘은 가족의 지지, 자원봉사로 인한 삶의 활력, 지역사회 연대의 힘, 엄마처럼 품어주기로 드러났다. This study is intended to understand the volunteer experience of long-term volunteers. To this end, in-depth interviews were collected for six people living in Seocheon-gun, Chungcheongnam-do and continuing volunteer work. The study was conducted from September to December 2019, using Giorgi's phenomenological method and analyzing it. The analysis resulted in four categories, 14 subcategories, and 65 meaning units related to volunteers' long-term volunteer experiences, and the theme of the experience was “first experience of expectation and fear” of volunteering with various motives. In addition, he experiences the “source of power that leads volunteer activities for a long time” by overcoming the crisis of suspension, eventually experiencing the “finding his own life in volunteer activities.” According to the analysis, the biggest strength of continuing volunteer work was family support, the vitality of life due to volunteer work, the power of group solidarity, and embracing like a mother. The analysis results, it was revealed that the greatest strength to continue volunteering was family support, vitality of life due to volunteering, the power to guide each other, and cherishing like a mother.

장애인, 당신은 어떻게 생각하십니까? : Q방법론을 활용하여

본 연구는 21세기 사회통합시대에 들어서, 2분법적 요소의 하나인, ‘장애인’, ‘비장애인’에 대한 이해와 인식을 고찰하고자 출발하였다. 즉, 우리일상에서 함께 하고 있는 장애인에 대한 인식을 진단하고자, 본 연구의 응답자의 내면과 인식을 바탕으로 연구하는 ‘Q방법론(Q-methodology)’을 활용하였다. 분석을 위하여 32개의 Q-statements를 확보하고, 20명의 P표본 응답자를 대상으로한 결과, 다음과 같이 3개의 유형을 도출하였다. 즉, <유형Ⅰ>은 ‘장애에 대한 올바른 인식이 필요하다’, ‘장애는 누구에게나 일어날 수 있다’ 등의 진술문이 강조하고 있어, 「올바른인식 강조형」으로 명명하였다. <유형Ⅱ>는 ‘장애인의 삶은 힘들다’, ‘장애인에게 사회참여기회가 필요하다’을 강조하고 있어, 「장애인 삶 이해형」으로 명명하였다. <유형Ⅲ>은 ‘장애인에게 경제적 지원이 필요하다’, ‘장애인복지예산이 충분히 확보되어야 한다’ 등의 진술문을 강조하고 있어, 「제도적지원 강조형」으로 명명하였다. 따라서, 우리사회의 장애 및 장애인에 대한 올바른 인식의 필요성과 더불어, 본 연구결과가 장애인인식개선을 위한 마중물이 되기를 감히 기대한다. This study started to examine the understanding and perception of disabled people and non-disabled people, one of the dichotomous elements in the 21st century social integration era. In particular, for the analysis, Q-methodology, which should respond based on the respondents inner self and perception, was used. For the analysis, 32 Q-statements were secured, and as a result of targeting 20 P-sample respondents, three types were derived as follows. In 〈Type I〉, statements such as ‘A correct awareness of disability is necessary’ and ‘Disability can occur to anyone’ are emphasized, so it was named 「Correct Perception Emphasis Type」. 〈Type II> emphasized ‘The life of the disabled is not easy’ and ‘The disabled need an opportunity to participate in society’ and was named 「The Life of the Disabled Understanding Type」. 〈Type III〉 emphasized statements such as ‘Economic support is necessary for the disabled’ and ‘The welfare budget for the disabled must be sufficiently secured’, and was named 「Institutional Support Emphasis Type」. Therefore, in addition to the necessity of correct recognition of disability and disability in our society, we expect this study result is to be priming water for improving the recognition of the disabled.
