가계동향조사에서 응답방식에 따른 가계부 응답 횟수의 비교 연구

National Statistics Office performs 'Household survey' to examine the real condition and changes of living standard. Their informations are then used for various social and economic purposes such as extracting the weight of items in consumer price index. The household survey is conducted in two different forms, one form of noting down and another form of electronic input system. This research is to compare the number of response items between these two input methods considering several important covariates such as income, number of family numbers, and age of the house head. The statistical method used in this research is ANACOVA(analysis of covariance), which is used to explain the relationship between a single dependent variable and a group of independent variables consisting of qualitative and quantitative variables. It turned out that the covariates, number of family members and age of the house head have interaction effeets with method, which implies that the difference between the two input methods must be estimated not only considering input methodes but also considering the number of family members and the age of house head. It is expected that the result of this research will be of some help in similar surveys and researchers. 통계청에서 지속적으로 실시하고 있는 가계동향조사에서는 우리나라 가구의 생활수준 실태를 파악할 뿐만 아니라, 조사된 자료를 소비자 물가지수 편제 가중치 산출 등 다양한 경제 사회적 목적에 사용하고 있다. 이 조사는 최근 수기기입방식과 전자기입방식이 혼용되고 있는 데, 본 연구에서는 여러 가지 외생 공변수(가구소득, 가구원수, 가구주연령)를 고려한 상태에서 이 두 가지기입 방식에 따른 응답항목수의 차이를 분석해 보았다. 분석에 사용된 통계 기법은 양적 변수들과 질적 변수들이 혼재되어 있는 독립변수 그룹과 한 개의 종속변수간의 관계를 규명하는데 주로 사용되는 공분산 분석이다. 두 공변수 ‘가구원수’와 ‘가구주연령’이 기입방식과 교호작용을 갖는 것으로 나타났으며 이로 인해 응답항목수의 차이는 기입방식에 따른 단순한 차이가 아닌‘가구원수’와 ‘가구주연령’을 동시에 고려한 상황에서 계산된 차이로 구해져야 함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과는 향후 통계청의 본 조사를 포함한 유사한 조사 실시 시 정책방향설정에 도움이 될 것이다.

경험적 영향함수를 이용한 표본영향함수 근사들 간의 성능 비교

본 연구는 Kang과 Kim (2020)의 후속 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 표본표준편차에 대한 경험적 영향함수를 통해 표본영향함수를 근사시켜 추론하는 방안에 대해 생각해 본다. 임의추출한 300개의 데이터를 바탕으로 모의실험을 통해 유도한 근사식의 타당성도 검증한다. 특히, 표본표준편차에 대한 표본영향함수를 근사시켜 추론하는 두 가지 근사 방안에 대한 성능 비교를 통해, 각 근사 방안이 갖는 장점과 한계에 대해서도 살펴본다. 본 연구는 경험적 영향함수를 이용한 표본영향함수의 근사에서 오차를 줄이기 위한 방안을 제안하고 그 타당성을 검증하였으며, 이를 통해 기존의 연구에서 경험적 영향함수로 표본영향함수를 바로 근사시켰던 연구 방법에 효과적인 근사 방안을 제안한 점에서 의의를 갖는다.
