      • Solids Contact Process를 이용한 돈사폐수처리에 관한 연구

        Agricultural-related environmental problems have received a considerable attention in this country possibly because the contribution has significant impacts on the quality of water resources. the piggery wastewater is characterized as high in Suspended Solids(SS) and BOD? concentrations. Due to the high SS and BOD? contents, an efficient pretreatment Would be essential for the successful secondary treatment for piggery wastewater. In order to minimize the clogging problem Rice Straw was applied for the pre-treatment as filtration. Trickling filter would be an attractive option for the small to medium scale piggery wastewater treatment because of its low operation and maintenance costs. The trickling filter effluent recycle improved the effluent qualities probably due to the dilution effects. The Kinetic constant that necessary for the trickling filter design were also evaluated. In addition, it was noticed that BOD? test values were influenced by the nitrification effects as a function of wastewater concentrations. The finding leads to a careful examination of nitrification effect on wastewater treatment plant design and operation. The solids contact process was proved as an effective process for the effluent treatment.

      • 폐주물사의 치환율에 따른 콘크리트의 동결-융해 저항성에 관한 연구

        The durability of concrete incorporating waste foundry sand(WFS) should be studied in order to inquire the feasibility of recycling the WFS by replacing the fine aggregates at concrete. This paper presents on the experimental results of the freeze-thaw resistance at concrete incorporating WFS. The main experimental variables are substitution ratio of WFS into fine aggregate, W/C ratio, and with or without air entrainment. The results are expressed in terms of compressive strength and relative dynamic modules of concrete as follows ; The compressive strength of concrete with WFS increase as the substitution ratio of WFS increase when air entrainment is used. The use of AE is strongly recommended for increasing the compressive strength and the freeze -thaw resistance of concrete incorporating WFS. It is verified that the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete with WFS fairly depends on the water-cement ratio, and it increase as the substitution ratio of WFS increase from 0% to 25% or 50%. Specially, it is improved very much at 50% of W/C as the substitution ratio increase. As a results, the waste foundry sand may be recycled in the concrete by substituting a portion of fine aggregate, from the experimental results on compressive strength and freeze-thaw resistance.

      • Ca-alginate로 고정한 녹조류 Chlorella pyrenoidosa에 의한 구리의 생물 흡착시 경쟁 간섭의 영향

        Batch experiments were carried out to asses the coexistence effect of lead and cadmium ions on the biosorption of copper ions by Chlorella pyrenoidosa immobilized with Ca-alginate. The uptake of copper ions was examined for single and binary solutions at different initial concentrations. The experimental results showed that the biosorption equilibrium was reached within 1 hour and the adsorption capacity of copper increased with increasing initial copper ions concentration in solution. The biosorption capacity of copper was found to be adversely affected by the presence of lead or cadmium ions in the binary solution, although decrease of the biosorption capacity in the presence of cadmium was less than in the presence of lead. The equilibrium data on the single and binary metal biosorption were fitted to two isotherm models: Langmuir and Freundlich; the Langmuir isotherm gave the better fit for the equilibrium data.

        Ministry of Environmental manages 371 sites water quality in Han River and 1445 sites in Korea. But they have many difficulties to manage these rivers through traditional network information. Because they needed more flowrates. So I studied water quality and flowrates in the River Youngduk not involved network. It shows that pH, Suspended Solids, and Dissolved Oxygen were below grade I, but Biochemical Oxygen Demand was over grade I.

      • 양어장 배출수 수질정화를 위한 실지렁이의 이용가능성

        In this study , blood worm was investigated under various experimental conditions to improve the efficiency of biological treatment used for the effluent from aquaculture. To present about availability of quality of water specie the mode of life engineering through relation with mode of life of fresh water species blood worm, habitat. Accordinglym, experimented organic matter exclusion effect change. Blood worm inhabits in water temperature range wide extent, and does activity that is unrelated in light. Form condition is good from pH 5-8 and optimum pH 6-7.5. Dissolved oxygen could inhabit in 1.0 ㎎/L, and has introspection which is strong about ephemeral anaerobic state. As drift of a current is slow, activeness was good. Also, blood worm is considered that had inner filtration institution when blow by their activity and alimentary canal structure. Organic matter form particle organic matter that have food intake mainly appear. The organic matter exclusion amount is COD 2.8 ㎎/L in artificial sewage's occasion, and BOD 2.6 ㎎/L. In the case of aquaculture wastewater, appeared each by 11.55 ㎎/L, and appeared as is small by 5% of the whole organic matter exclusion amount and 30% low each. However, did microorganism exhaust passage indirect orgainc matter exclusion from microbial nutrient supply and interior of the body.

      • 친환경 바이오시스템을 이용한 고밀도순환여과

        The wastes and uneaten feeds from farmed fish contained high concentrations of nutrients, such kinds of materials were released to the environment without manage and they increase the pollution of environment. Management methods are required to solve these problems. In present, a lot of methods existed in managing the wastes from recirculating aquacultyure system, the biological filter chamber included submerged biofilter, rotational biological contactor (RBC) and fluidized bed biofilter, etc. In this research, the typical and advanced DynaSand Filters were experimented. The advanced DynaSand Filter was recently modified with fluid mechanics and physical chemistry theories applied to water treatment plants. This advanced filter focuses on improvement of backwashing, oxygen transport, turbidity removal, continuous head loss by detecting wastewater characteristics and automatic the DynaSand Filter operation. The DynaSand Filter operates by removing COD, ammonia, and suspended solids. Those are the major pollutants usually found in aquaculture wastewater. The total volume of the DynaSand Filter was 70 liters, while the working volume in a cycle was 35 liters. In this research, the advanced DynaSand Filter investigated for treating aquaculture showed a removal efficiency in SS, ammonia, T-P, SRP of 71, 84, 85 and 88% on average respectively.

        There are high concentration BOD, COD, SS, heavy metal, etc. in the leachate. In the many types of landfill, the characteristics of leachate has difference. There is a new plan to be built in Chungju. So I studied which is better onsite treatment or city wastewater plant treatment that will be transported all leachate from new landfill. According to the results of this study, if all leachate from new landfill is transported to city wastewater plant, the plant will meet all leachate from new landfill.

      • 돈사 폐수의 토양 주입 방법에 관한 연구

        A laboratory experiment was conducted in order to treat efficiently for the Land treatment with high concentration of piggery wastewater. Raw wastewater second treated used on the Land and then Hydraulic loading was 0.0073 m³/m²/d at Effluent Zero Discharge. In the removal efficiency of organic matters and suspended solids at the different Loading on the laboratory experiment, SS were removed by 94.4-95.5% and TBOD were removed by 81.9-91.0%
