The purpose of this paper is to test spatial autocorrelation of sale prices and rents of factories in the knowledge industrial centers(KICs) and establish spatial regression models. First, we collect asking price and rent data of KICs in Seoul metropolitan area from the internet site of the real estate consulting firm, R114. Second, we establish hedonic price equations for total sale price and rent data. By ordinary least square estimation(OLS), we find some statistically significant independent variables like building floor area, age, industrial zone, factory location floor, factory facility area, the adjacency of crossroad, the distance of Seoul City Hall, the distance of subway station and sub-markets. Sub-markets are classified to Guro-Geumcheon, Seongdong, Yeongdeungpo, Seongnam and Gyeonggi southern area. Third, we find strong spatial autocorrelation for median data of prices and rents by Moran`s I and the LISA of Ansellin. On the basis of this result, we establish hedonic equations for median data and examine spatial autocorrelation for errors of OLS. We finally find spatial error model(SEM) the best specific model by Robust LM tests. SEM is turned out to be more specific than OLS model by comparing AC, SIC, Log-likelihood values.

We encountered a case of an accidental epidural injection of ondansetron through an epidural catheter. No neurological complications were noted. This case highlights the need for more attention to minimize the risk of epidural injections. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2007; 52: 712~4)

The temporomandibular joint can be dislocated during anesthesia as a result of excessive oral opening and direct laryngoscope handling. Occasionally, yawning can be observed during the induction of anesthesia with propofol. The forceful and voluntary yawning after a propofol injection can lead to a dislocation of the temporomandibular joint. We report a case of an anterior dislocation of the temporomandibular joint upon induction with propofol, which caused difficulties in mask ventilation and endotracheal intubation. Although intubation had been carried out successfully in this case, an unanticipated difficult airway can be confronted at anytime. Therefore, anesthesiologists should be aware of the management of a difficult airway and practice various methods according to a difficult airway algorithm. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2006; 51: 483~5)

Background: Low flow anesthesia provides many advantages, including reduced cost, conservation of body heat and airway humidity. This study was performed to compare low flow anesthesia with high flow anesthesia and to investigate whether the advantages of low flow anesthesia during positive pressure ventilation can be combined with the laryngeal mask airway in paralyzed pediatric patients. Methods: Thirty-one pediatric patients of ASA physical status 1 or 2 were studies and divided into two groups according to the fresh gas flow (FGF) in the breathing system; low flow group (FGF ≒ 1 L/min, n=17) or high flow group (FGF ≒ 4 L/min, n=14). Each respiratory parameter was measured when a steady state was reached at 20 min after induction. Results: There were no significant differences of respiratory data between the two groups except that the inspired oxygen concentration was lower in the low flow group than in the high flow group. Hemodynamic changes with the laryngeal mask airway insertion were not statistically significant. Conclusions: A laryngeal mask airway is an effective airway device for low flow anesthesia as well as for high anesthesia in paralyzed pediatric patients. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2002; 43: 723~727)
