첨단 디지털 테크놀로지시대의 도래로 최근 전시영상 구성환경에도 많은 변화가 도래하였다. 이로 인해종래의 전시기본 요소인 전시물과 전시공간과 관람객과 시간사이의 관계 역시 더욱 복잡하여지고 다양하여졌다. 그러나 과학전시 영상매체의 양적인 발전에 비해 유형 및 특징의 분류 및 활용 체계의 규정은 정해진 바가 없는 상황이며, 이로 인해 최근 개발되는 전시영상매체들의 대부분이 첨단기술을 차용하여 관람객의 주의를 끌기 위한 가십적인 요소로 활용되어지고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 논문은 이러한 과학전시영상매체의 효과적인 활용을 고찰하기 위하여 다음과 같은 활용기준을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 전시내용을 바탕으로 1차 선정기준인 영상매체의 종류와 상태를 정한다. 둘째, 전시상태에 따른 적용기준을 정한다. 셋째, 공간·관람객·시간의 요소를 바탕으로 과학전시 영상매체의 유형·특징별 영상매체를 결정짓는다. With the advent of multimedia, information, exhibits a non-exhibition is made possible mainly by the exhibition. However, a variety of science exhibits visual media for the situation it is difficult to use. This paper provides a basis for effective utilization of science exhibits visual media by theuse of three kinds of standards. First, the exhibition based on the contents and status shall be determined by the type of video media. Second, based on the Exhibition contents shall be determined the type and status of the video media. Third, base on the ``space, visitors, time``, shall be determined the Science exhibitions visual media by consider the character and type.

과학관 전시기획 프로세스 연구-과천과학관 기초과학분야를 중심으로 -

과학관이 접근하기 어려운 문화공간이기 보다는 생활 속에 밀접하게 관련된 사회교육 기관으로서 위치해 감에 따라 과학관은 기능과 내용에 따라 다양하고 복잡한 형태로 발전하며 시대·국가 및 정책목표에 따라 달라지고 있다. 이에 따라 과학관의 가장 중요한 기능인 전시의 기획단계부터 그 기능과 내용에 맞게 체계적으로 이루어져야 한다. 전시기획은 일정의 공간에서 가장 쾌적하고 효과적인 정보전달을 행하기 위한 종합기획이다. 인간, 시간, 공간, 전시물의 4가지 사이를 종합적으로 기획하는 것이야 말로 전시의 큰 특징이라 할 수 있다. 과학관 전시기획 프로세스의 필요성은 전시의 효과적인 전달을 위해서도 매우 중요한 요소임에도 불구하고 아직까지 우리나라의 과학관들은 일단 필요한 규모의 과학관을 설계한 다음 주어진 전시공간에 전시물을 끼워 맞추는 순서로 진행하는 경우가 거의 대부분이어서 전시물이 갖는 특성이 무시될 수 밖에 없는 상황을 초래하게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 과학관 전시 기획 프로세스를 연구해 보고 실제 기획서를 통해 구현된 사례를 조사 분석하였다. The Science museum has been proceeding constantly for the most effective social education center. Therefore it is necessary to build the systematic exhibit project planning. Exhibition project is the complicated one for effective information delivered. Now it is time to transform science museum in to a true place for discovering knowledge by among visitors, time, space, objects. When exhibition planners are working out the exhibition project they need effective exhibition planning for the communicating between objects and the public. However, Korean science museums that have built science exhibition projects have focused on the hasty result. Of course, they ignored the characters of science objects. We should consider the study of objects. It is very important that the exhibition planners should carry out the responsibility along with the systematic planning practice, whether they want to do or not, here we should address the fact that the study of Science exhibition planning have to grow in accordance with the responsibility of the exhibition planners. Therefore, This study aims to propose a correct planning of science exhibition as well as exhibition through case studies and analyses by actual Science exhibition planning documents.
