        홍삼추출물 투여 후 Paraquat가 투여된 생쥐간에서 Glutathione과 Lipid Peroxidation에 미치는 항산화 효과

        본 연구결과에서 볼 때 paraquat독성 생존을 실험에서는 ascorbic acid가 우수하였고, 간 조직 내 과산화수소 (H2O2)축적해소는 알콜추출물에서 우수하였으며, GPx활성도 수준은 홍삼지용성추출물과 ascorbic acid에서 우수하였다. 한편 GSH량은 증가되면서 GSSG량이 감소되는 glutathion 환원반응이 우수한 것은 ascorbic acid에서만이 확인되었다. 한편 생체 내 MDA량 감소는 홍삼수용성 추출물과 ascorbic acid에서만 우수한 효능을 발휘하였다. 이 같은 실험결과들로 미루어 볼 때 ascorbic acid가 항산화 효능이 있는 것은 본 실험에서도 입증되고 있으며, 아울러 홍삼에서도 추출물마다 독특한 항산화 효능이 나타나고 있다 The anti-oxidative effects of Korean red ginseng extracts (total saponine, water extracts, alcohol extracts, lipophilic extracts), which were administered with the concentration of 200 mg/kg BW, were investigated after the injection of paraquat (1,1-dimethyl-4,4-bipyrimidinium dichloride: PQ) with dosage of 100 mg/kg BW on the peritoneal cavity to 6 weeks of 23∼26 gm ICR male mice. The accumulation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) on the liver of mouse was lowered only in alcohol extract-treated group (p<0.05). The activity of glutathione peroxidase increased in the mouse treated with lipophilic ginseng extracts. And GSSG level was lowered in all groups, and this might be due to the paraquat ions that might prevent the reaction of GSSG into GSH. But we cannot find any relation between glutathione oxido-reductase activity on Korean ginseng extracts. Finally, the lipid peroxidation (MDA) level was lowest (p<0.01) in the group of mouse treated with water extracts of ginseng.

        Vibrio vulnificus의 생물학적 특성

        1. Ten strains of Vibrio vulnificus were isolated from 1982 to 1985 in summer season at Won Kwang Medical Center. 2. The shapes of Vibrio vulnificus were variable from short to irregular curved, spiral and long bacilli on simple Basic Fuchsin Stain method. 3. There were able to grow at 0.2~8% of NaCl concentration after 3 hrs of culture and pH 4~12 with ionic reqirements. 4. V. vulnificus showed strong hemolysis activity, easily inactivated by addtion of higher temperature. 5. All of V. vulnificus was susceptible to chloramphenicol, tetracycline, carbenicillin, erythromycin and rifampicin. 6. All of the patients was died due to septic shock.

      • 홍삼추출물 투여가 Paraquat 투여 흰쥐 체내 혈청철에 미치는 영향

        We investigated in the contents of TIBC, SI and UIBC in the mouse blood after treatment with paraquat and/or ginseng extracts. Blood TIBC were mild decreased less than 10% both of 24 hours and 96hours paraquat group than control group. And administration of lipophilic extracts were highest elevated effect on TIBC level. Lipophilic extracts were best increased(p<0.01) on SI level. But alcohol soluble extract were rapidly normalization stabled by crisis of paraquat on SI level. And total saponine were not appeared specific effect on blood TIBC, SI, and UIBC than other ginseng extract in rats. Water soluble extract were highest increase(p<0.01) on UIBC. And blood UIBC were increased p<0.05 in 24 hours paraquat group but after 96 hours late were decreased p<0.01. That the result of SI were very intensely reacted decrease until 50% SI(p<0.01) in initial 24 hours paraquat but 96 hours later were too much increased about 306%(p<0.01) on serum level than 24hours initial paraquat.

        Vibrio vulnificus 의 有機(유기) 및 無機物(무기물) 利用度(리용도)에 對(대)한 硏究(연구)

        V. UNLUNIFICUS 는 gelatin 과 같은 특정 유기물은 이용하지 못하였으나 거의 모든 유기물을 분해하였고, 특히 tryptone을 기장 좋아 하였으며 탄소화물은 유기물 분해를 위한 활성 보조물질로만 작용하였다. 이규은 바다의 환경에서만 유김물 분해하며 살아 갈 수 있는 환경미생물로서 NaCl 공급 없이는 유기물 분해가 불가능 할 것으로 여겨져 왔으나 실험 결과 chloride와 화물은 이룰 수 있는 Ca, Mg, Ba, K, Na 등의 alkali 금속과 Na2HPO4나 K2 HPO4 등의alkali 조건이 될 수 있는 인산염 등에서도 유기물 분해는 가능 하였으며, 이 같은 결과에서 볼 때 해양환경이 아니더라도 이 균이 상기 물질이 분포된 특정환경의 내륙에서 노출되면 강력한 병원성의 내륙수인성 환경 미생물의 가능성을 낳게 하였디. Vibrio vulnificus is living in the marine environmental bacteria. This bacteria has ability super decomposition of organic proteins on optimal condition that is 1% concentration of N aCl, pH 8. 5 and 3TC of temperature. V. vulnijicus was highest growned in trypton and next pepton but did not utilized gelatin. Carbohydrate do not acted indispensability to physiological metabolic start factor but only acted assistant factor. By this time we know that inorder to do physiol organic metabolism of V . vulnificus was necessary only sodium chloride but infact several inorganic substance was existenced. Which is calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, Barium chloride, dipotassium bromid, dipotassium phosphate, and disodium phosphate ect. V. vulnificus was grown 1% concentration of in this chemical compound with in proteins. The best utilized on sodium chloride and next · was calcium chloride or disodium phosphate. Most of this chemical substance was consisted chlorine compound with alkali meatals trubs.

      • 홍삼 추출물 투여가 생쥐의 조혈효과에 미치는 영향

        홍삼성분을 21일(3주간) 경구투여한 후 심장 채혈한 혈액을 Coulter counter S+VI로 CBC를 측정한 결과치와 reticulocyte치를 통하여 홍삼성분이 조혈기능에 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. hemoglobin, erythrocyte, hematochrit, reticulocyte등의 조혈감시 4요소 모두에서 유의성 있는 조혈증가를 보였으며 이들 추출물 투여별 조혈증가의 효능을 보면 수용성분>Total saponins>50% 에탄올 추출물>대조군 순으로 나타났다. 이들 조혈효소들은 골수에서 말초혈액내로 배출되는 완숙직전의 reticulocyte의 출현 수의 크기는 수용성분 홍삼성분 투여군이 대조군에 비하여 약 36.5%의 증가를 보임으로서 다른 요소에 비하여 약 2배 이상을 상회하는 조혈증가를 보여서, 수용성 홍삼성분이 조혈 작용에 우수한 효능을 발휘하는 것으로 생각되며, 이 수용성성분중에서는 미확인성 물질이지만 조혈자극물질인 erythropoiethine의 활성과 생성에 미치는 어떤 조혈물질이 존재함을 알 수 있었다. Effects of red ginseng extracts on hematopoiesis of blood in mice were studied. Albino mice were given control group, ginseng water soluble extract, 50% ethanol extract and total saponins extract(0.5mg/mouse :oral) for 21 days and hemoglobin, erythrocyte number , hematocrit and reticulocyte were determined. In the water soluble extract and total saponins extract group, hemoglobin content was significantly enhanced by 11.6, 4.9%, respectively compared with control group(p<0.001). In the water soluble extract and 50% ethanol extract group, erythrocyte number was significantly enhanced by 12.1%, 7.6%, respectively compared with control group(p<0.05). In the water soluble extract, hematocrit(%) was significantly enhanced by 15.1%(p<0.001), and 50% ethanol extract group and total saponins were significantly enhanced by 15.1, 8.2, 9.2%, respectively compared with control group(p<0.05). In the water soluble extract, and total saponins groups, reticulocyte(%) was significantly enhanced by 36.5, 19.5% respectively compared with control group(p<0.005). In the water soluble extract and total saponins extract group hemoglobin content were significantly enhanced by 11.6, 4.9%, respectively compared with control group(p<0.001).
