Consumers tend to evaluate overall satisfaction of a car by attribute-level performance, not overall-level. The impact of attribute-level performance on car overall satisfaction can be analyzed using the Structural Equation Model. In this paper, The attributes of a car are classified with the car package attribute-level at the product development point of view. This classification has advantages that the result of the analysis can be applied to practical development process. Finally, the impact of car package attribute-level performance on car overall satisfaction and repurchase & recommendation intentions is analyzed using the Structural Equation Model based on the survey data in India.

Cold start hydrocarbon is the key issue for the emission control of gasoline vehicles. The adsorber system has been studied to meet the stringent regulations with cost effective exhaust system. The key technical issues to be resolved for the practical use of the HC adsorber systems are the thermal stability of the adsorbent, the ability to adsorb major HC components from the cold exhaust system, the retention of the HC to the higher temperature, and the activation of the three way catalyst at the lower temperature. Zeolite Beta with various silica to alumina ratio have been studied for the adsorber. Low concentration of aluminum is beneficial for the stability of the zeolite. High contents of aluminum can accompany the undesired cracking of the adsorbed HC's to lighter ones which can be des orbed at the lower temperature. Steam showed the detrimental effect on the structure of the beta zeolite. High silica beta with minimal contents of alumina is favorable for the practical exhaust system with high durability. The HC adsorber catalyst system was applied for the under floor position and tested in FTP driving mode using 2.4 liter engine. The study gave the result that the HC adsorber system with lower cost can give the better performance in HC reduction than that of the conventional three way catalyst system.

The head restraints is a safety device to protect head and neck from a car crash. Although, the rear-seat head restraints should be designed with the comfort of head as well as the clear vision of back side for driver. These goals conflict with each other because the smaller size is much better for the vision but the certain size is essential for the comfort of head. In this study, I focused on finding the factors influences to the comfort of occupant"s head and neck in a car by using the subjective comfort evaluation, step-wise regression analysis and correlation analysis. Furthermore, I suggest the minimum size of head restraints satisfies with key factors of comfort by analyzing the vehicles on the market.
미취학 자녀를 둔 여성관리자의 직장-가정 간 전이가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 : 자녀양육만족도의 매개효과를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 미취학 자녀를 둔 여성관리자 집단의 직장-가정 전이가삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하고, 나아가 자녀양육만족도가 직장- 가정 간 전이가 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 매개역할을 하는지확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국여성정책연구원의 여성관리자패널5차년도 데이터를 활용하였으며 최종 분석에는 미취학자녀를 둔 여성관리자420명의 데이터가 사용되었다. 분석방법으로는 SPSS Process macro를활용한 매개효과 검증 및 부트스트래핑을 활용한 통계적 유의성 검증을 실시하였다. 주요 분석 결과로는 먼저 직장-가정 갈등은 자녀양육만족도에부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또, 직장-가정 갈등은 여성관리자의 삶의 만족도에도 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 자녀양육만족도는 삶의 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 직장-가정 갈등과 삶의만족도의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 직장-가정 촉진은 자녀양육만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었으며 여성관리자의 삶의 만족도에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한자녀양육만족도는 직장-가정 촉진과 삶의 만족도 사이에서 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타나 직장-가정 갈등과 촉진 모두 삶의 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 동시에 자녀양육만족도를 통한 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있음이 검증되었다. 이에 따른 제언으로 첫째, 정부와 기업조직은 여성관리자들이 직장과 가정 생활을 양립할 수 있도록 제도적 장치와 조직문화를 마련할 필요가 있으며 특히 노동시간을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련해야 한다. 둘째, 여성의 일을 인정하는 문화와 법적제도를 만듦으로써직장-가정 촉진을 향상시키고 자녀양육과 삶의 만족에 긍정적인 기여를해야 한다. 셋째, 정부에서는 여성근로자들의 욕구를 충족시키고 자녀돌봄의만족도를 높일 수 있는 육아지원정책을 마련해야 한다. 이러한 결론을 토대로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언을 서술하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of Work - Family Spillover on the Life Satisfaction of women managers with preschool children, and furthermore, to investigate whether the Child - Rearing Satisfaction plays a mediating role in the relationship between Work - Family Spillover and Life Satisfaction. For this purpose,, data from the 5th year of the Korean Women Managers Panel of the Korea Women s Development Institute was used. In the final analysis, data of 420 female managers with preschool children were used. As the analysis method, we performed the Mediating effect verification using SPSS Process Macro and statistical significance test using Bootstrapping. Key Findings are as follows: First, Work-Family Conflict has a negative effect on child rearing satisfaction. Second, Work-Family Conflict negatively affects the life satisfaction of women managers. Third, Child Rearing Satisfaction had a positive effect on life satisfaction and partial mediation effect on the relationship between Work- Family Conflict and Life Satisfaction. While, Work- Family promotion had almost same impact on life satisfaction as well as child rearing satisfaction, although derection was oppoesed. Based on these results, following suggestions are insisted. First, government and corporate organizations need to establish institutional devices and organizational culture to enable women managers to reconcile their workplace and family, and in particular to create ways to reduce working hours. Second, creating a culture and legal system to recognize women s work can improve work-family facilitation and positively contribute to child care and life satisfaction. Third, the government should provide childcare support policies that meet the needs of female workers and raise the satisfaction of child care. Based on these conclusions, we described the implications and limitations of this study, and suggestions for future research.

To develop a compact vehicle for women, the most important areas are ‘behavioral characteristics, life style and driving posture’. Static AM95%ile manikin is used for package guideline of HKMC. Since women’s characteristics and sitting position are different from men, however, the guideline cannot satisfy women drivers. Therefore, the goal of this study is to make the database with dynamic women’s driving posture and behavioral characteristics at compact vehicle. Research process will be made as follows. Firstly, through the online/offline survey and statistic analysis, lifestyle and behavioral characteristics (discomfort elements) of women are extracted. Secondly, the author performs scenario test to acquire the discomfort value of driving situation and life style. 3D models of women’s manikin and driving posture were created by CATIA HUMAN. The 3D models are used for the purpose of analyzing women’s driving posture. Finally, with the ANOVA result and comparison between real driving posture and package guidelines, the author is able to suggest the main issue for women drivers

Nowadays high-heel shoes are one of the most popular fashion items for women. According to internal survey, approximately 40% women are driving their cars in high-heels. And simultaneoulsy they also have some complaint while driving and getting on-off in high-heels. The purpose of this paper is to examine how they manipulate pedal in high-heels with camera recording and to suggest improvement idea and also to verify validity of each idea.
