2D CAD is being replaced by 3D CAD to improve efficiency of product design and manufacturing in automobile industry. Therefore, converting legacy 2D drawing into 3D solid model is required. An extended CSG method is proposed to reconstruct exact 3D solid models from more complicated 2D drawings efficiently. Method for recognizing revolved protrusion is proposed to resolve the problem of existing CSG method and automotive part drawings are tested<br/>

It is considered to be an important subject to connect mid-surface patches for generating shell model from solid model automatically. This paper describes a concrete method of mid-surface patch connection based on graph representation. Using PMMG(pair face & mid-surface mapping graph), it can be determined which edge of a mid-surface patch should be extended. After that, mid-surface patches are extended, trimmed and connected to generate a complete shell model.

In this study, the realization aspect of Indirect Speech Acts(IDSA) in Korean and English are compared to clarify the reason we use the method of IDSA despite we can perform speech acts directly. The subject of analysis was limited to interrogative sentences and TV drama scripts were used as research materials. As a results, the major motives to perform IDSA were found to be 'lessening the burden' and 'emphasizing'. It is interesting that the same method can give two opposite effects. Because of the reason that performance and understanding of IDSA ultimately realize on the context of verbal communications, pragmatical factors should be considered to infer the meaning of IDSA. The significance of this study can be found in the respect of considering the speaker's intentions delivered through IDSA in relation to the situations in which IDSA is performed.

본 논문은 에너지 저장기술과 도시철도 시스템의 연계에 관한 기본 연구를 수행하고, 시공간적 변화를 가지는 철도부하에 대한 전력조류 분석을 수행한다. 이를 바탕으로 운행 조건에 대한 에너지 저장시스템의 에너지 이용 효율을 계산한다.
