An finishing process using magnetorheological fluid (MR) fluid has been developed as a new precision finishing technique to obtain a fine metal surface. For MR polishing process, MR fluid was consists of CI particles, nonmagnetic polishing abrasives, water and stabilizers. One of the main ingredients in MR fluid is the magnetic CI particles. But carbonyl iron used in MR fluids a severe corrosion problem. Through coated on the CI particles had study the defect supplementation. It is understand the rheological behavior of the MR fluid based on the coated CI particles. Also the objectives of this research is to investigate the surface roughness obtained from the MR polishing process.

In recently industry, with the miniaturization and high-precision of machine part, the development of mold manufacturing technology for mass production is accompanied by the development of new industrial field such as IT, NT and BT. The metal injection molding(MIM) process combines the well-known thermoplastic injection and powder metallurgy technologies to manufacture small parts for IT, NT, BT industrial. In this study, the bar type MIM mold with a 800um thickness is made for influence of feedstock material and injection parameter through an experiment.

In this study, the process problems and characteristics in the multi-materials inserted injection molding process were analyzed by CAE analysis method. In the inserted plastic injection molding process, inserted objects have effects on resin flow and the distribution of mold surface temperature. Therefore, the CAE analysis for investigation of molding process is needed before the fabrication of injection molds.
