The discovery of novel skeletons with a new mode of action as an insecticide is important in overcoming resistance and environmental problems associated with conventional insecticides. Recently, Insect growth regulators (IGRs) have become an effective target for mosquito control with insect selectivity and relatively low toxicity. Juvenile hormone(JH)-based IGRs including JH agonists (JHAs) and antagonists (JHANs) fatally affect the physiological regulations in insects and are effective for control the target insects. High-throughput screening is a common strategy used to identify biological active compounds with new skeletons by the screening of large compound libraries. In this study, we introduce the Lorecrezole and Penfluridol as novel JH-based insect growth regulators by the two-hybrid yeast ß-galactosidase assay method in a yeast cell using KRICT chemical library. We developed synthetic methods for Loreclezole and synthesized Loreclezole derivatives. Evaluation of their activities in-vitro tests, unlike the expectation that compounds with high JHAN activity could be obtained. This suggests that compounds with JHAN activity may also be used as novel insecticides of the IGR family

교과서 분석을 통한 초중고 학생들의 안전보건교육 실태 조사

On the basis of total page, the coverage rate of education of safety and health in textbooks of elementary school was approximately 10%. In middle school, the contents of safety education were addressed mainly in subject of chemistry below about 5% of coverage rate whereas the contents of health education appeared mainly in subject of athletics below about 15% of coverage rate. Similarly, the contents of safety education and health education in textbooks of high school were indicated mainly in the subjects of chemistry and athletics, showing below about 5% and 30% of coverage rate, respectively. In conclusion, the education level of safety and health in textbooks was generally lower compared to other contents. The coverage rate of safety education was relatively lower than health education, which implicates that extensive contents related to safety education are needed to be added to textbooks in order to establish preliminary attitude for preventing workplace accident.

The effective allocation of resoures to get a maximum effects by combining with a given resoures under an optimum condition is the important task in the economic planning. Economic Development planning is the direction of basic policy in the future must be utilited within the realm where planning where planning and manket function are propercy conplenented, In other weals the plaa..ing nuest be enhanced by normalization of manket dis cipline, by doing so the subjective discision-market must be left in the hands of private enterpreneurs so as to winden the range of private business actiuites. There fore it is necessary to era dicate the tendency of speculation by stabilization of the currency and to keep the balance in demand and supply by overcoming the showtage of supplies in goods. At the same time, the government must not only provide the investment incentiues for the priuate enterprises by changing the state-controlled enterprises in to the hands of priuate ones, but also improve the efficiency and compectitiue power in pursuit of privateoriented economic pattern. Especially, the government must keep the financial sector as much autonomous and flexible as possible, and must alleviate rigid price control as well as foreign exchange control which is obstructive to the market function. This will also eliminate the existing bureaucratic red tape and corruption. In order to generate a favorable circumstance for the new direction, control of inflations and alleviation of investment opportunities for the private business may be prerequisite by means of restraint in the expansion of fiscal scale and moderation of the area of administration.
