The purpose of this research was to the effects of body rhythm exercise program of flexibility, balance and BMD(bone mineral density) in elderly women. The subjects were divided into two groups of an body rhythm exercise group(50 subjects) and a non-exercise control group with(50 subjects). The subjects in body rhythm exercise program performed was composed of rating of perceived exertion(RPE) 11-13 for 90 minutes, 2 times a week for 36 weeks. All subjects of this study were examined the changes in flexibility, balance and BMD. The results of the study in the body rhythm exercise program group were as follows; It was concluded body rhythm exercise program group had positive effects on weight, % body fat, flexibility, balance and BMD in elderly women. This suggested that regular body rhythm exercise program performance is effective to bone health for post-menopausal elderly women. Therefore, it is expected that this kind of exercise programs will be useful to resolve potential issues of aged society in near future.

This study was to investigate the effects of living low and training high on body composition, exercise performance and immune responses in cross country skiers. Seven cross country skiers(male 4, female 3) participated in this study. They usually trained 3-5 hours per day, 6 days per week through year. Blood sampled were drown from antebrachial vein before and after 4 weeks training session and were analyzed to measure creatine kinase, SOD, MDA and cortisol concentration. There were no significant different of living low training high effects in the body composition and blood lactate. However, although the live high, train low approach has been widely adopted, there were several positive training effect of train high condition group. Also there were no significant different in the blood CK, lactate and blood oxidative stress makers. In summary, the training high seems to being exposed to a hypoxia to obtain the positive and unique benefits of exercise performance physiologically in skier. These tentative conclusions await further refinement and correction in the light of further research.

The purpose of the current study was to investigate the effects of between physical activity and lifestyle factors on the clustering phenomenon of the metabolic syndrome(MS) risk factors in office male workers. A total of 380 office male workers aged over 30 years were consecutively recruited from those who spontaneously registered health program at the A office. All the participanis were gathered by self-administered questionnaire including smoking, alcohol, family history. Physical activity pattern such as low, modrate, vigorous, total physical activity time was assessed by self-report in the international physical activity questionnaire(IPAQ). The data of the measured variables were expressed as mean(±SD) using Independent t-test and one-way anova to compared between group difference and expressed as odd ratio(OR) using logistic regression for analyzed to relative risk between lifestyle risk factors and physical activity on metabolic syndrome. Physical activity levels in two groups comparisons showed that activity group had better means in blood pressure, waist circumference, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose, High-density lipoprotein cholesterol than inactivity group. Lifestyle risk factors in smoking alcohol, family history showed that people who never smoke, consume less alcohol, no family history had better means in blood pressure, waist circumference, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose, High-density lipoprotein cholesterol than other group. In summary, Regular physical activity and proper lifestyle habits can help prevent MS in office male worker.

??The aim of this research was study the effects of pilates exercise on BMD and body composition in working women. The subjects of this research were working women without any metabolic diseases and haven't had regular and vigorous physical activities. The subjects were divided into two groups of an pilates exercise group(8 subjects), control group with(8 subjects). Pilates exercise group performed 2 times a week for 90 minutest for 12 weeks an intensity of RPE 11-17. All subjects of this study were examined the changes in BMD and body composition. It was concluded that the pilates exercise group had positive effects on BMD to in working women but had not positive effects on body composition. These findings indicate that the pilates exercise programs were effective to prevent BMD.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of differential altitude training on cardiopulmonary function, blood variables in cross country skier. Fifteen well-trained male cross-country skiers were recruited from local high school and university. They usually trained 3-5 hours per day, 6 days per week through year. All subject randomly were assigned in two groups; 1) high altitude training condition, 2) low altitude training condition. In this study, LLTHL experimental condition group, hypoxia environment could play important role in the increase the RBC, Hb and maximal oxygen consumption(VO₂max), and increase the endurance exercise performance in the sea level. In summary, the high altitude winter training seems to being exposed to a hypoxia(low PO₂) to obtain the positive and unique benefits of exercise performance physiological in skier.

The aim of this research was study the effects of resistance exercise using water bottles on coronary artery disease risk factor in the rural elderly women. The subjects of this research were 13 elderly without any metabolic diseases and haven’t had regular and vigorous physical activities for the last six months. ill order to determine the effects of coronary artery disease risk factor, the subjects of required to performed resistance exercise using water bottles 3 times a week for 60 minutes for 12 weeks. All subjects of this study were examined the changes in coronary artery disease risk factor(weight, body mass index, % body fat, Glucose, TG, TC). Variables related to coronary artery disease risk factor were measured and compared between pre-and post-test as well as between ER and CR utilizing two-way ANOVA with repeated measures by PASW statistics 18.0 program. The results of the study were as follows; The result weight, body mass index, % body fat, Glucose, were significantly decreased but it is not effective in improving the level of blood lipids. As a conclusion, resistance exercise using water bottles on program would be a positive role for coronary artery disease risk factor by in the rural elderly women.

The aim of this research was to study the Aerobic?anaerobic combined exercise training on fall-related fitness and blood lipids in elderly obese women. The subjects of this research were 14 elderly without any metabolic diseases and haven"t had regular and vigorous physical activities for the last six months. Subjects have participated in exercise training on a as elastic band and pilates exercise, senior aerobic exercise 3 times a week for 60 minutes for 12 weeks. All subjects of this study were examined the changes in fall- related fitness(upper-body strength, low-body strength, flexibility, balance, endurance exercise capacity) and blood lipids(TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C). The results of the study were as follows; The result low-body strength, flexibility, balance had significant1y increased, TC, LDL-C had significant1y decreased. In conclusion, this study used the combined exercise is fall-related fitness(low-body strength, flexibility, balance)and blood lipid(TC, LDL-C) elderly women obesity. It is a positive contribution to improving the quality of life affected is meant to do. In the future the endurance exercise capacity and includes actions for heritage firing exercise, the effects of an exercise program, including a form for research is needed.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of diet and combined exercise training on Serum Lipids and Health-Related Fitness in postpartum obesity. Subjects who gained weight more than 5kg after delivery were recruited and underwent combined weight and aerobic exercise for 8 weeks. The results were as follows 1. In blood lipid profiles, triglyceride was decreased significantly. Total cholesterol and LDL-C had a tendency to be decreased slightly and HDL-C had a tendency to be increased slightly but there was no statistical significant difference. 2. In the case of Physical Fitness, Flexibility, Muscular Strength, Power, and Cardiorespiratory Fitness were increased significantly after Exercise training. Two of them, Power and Muscular Strength, were significantly different between groups. In conclusion, our study suggested that diet and combined exercise intervention for 8 weeks had a benefit of improvement of Health-Related fitness, But Serum Lipids. These result may be explained by shortness of exercise training period and weak exercise intensity.
