In this study, to replace the 'J-slot joint', a joint device between a disposal canister and an emplacement jig in Deep Borehole Disposal process, a novel joint device was designed and tested. The novel joint device was composed of a wedge on top of a disposal canister and a hook box at the end of a winch system. The designed joint device had merits in that it can recombine an emplaced canister freely without the replacement of the joint component. Moreover, it can be applied to various emplacement jigs such as drill pipes, wire-lines, and coiled tubing. To demonstrate the designed joint device, the joint device (${\Phi}110mm$, H 148 mm), a twin canister string (${\Phi}140mm$, H 1,105 mm), and a water tube (${\Phi}150mm$, H 1,500 mm) as a borehole model were manufactured at 1/3 scale. As deployment muds, Na-type bentonite (MX-80) and Ca-type (GJ II) bentonite muds were prepared at solid contents of 7wt% and 28wt%, respectively. The manufactured joint device showed good performance in pure water and viscous muds, with an operation speed of $10m{\cdot}min^{-1}$. It was concluded that the newly developed joint device can be used for the emplacement and retrieval of a deep disposal canister, below 3~5 km, in the future.

To overcome the low mechanical strength and corrosion behavior of a carbon steel canister at high temperature condition of a deep borehole, SiC ceramics were studied as an alternative material for the disposal canister. In this paper, a design concept for a SiC canister, along with an outer stainless steel container, was proposed, and its manufacturing feasibility was tested by fabricating several 1/3 scale canisters. The proposed canister can contain one PWR assembly. The outer container was also prepared for the string formation of SiC canisters. Thermal conductivity was measured for the SiC canister. The canister had a good thermal conductivity of above $70W{\cdot}m^{-1}{\cdot}K^{-1}$ at $100^{\circ}C$. The structural stability was checked under KURT environment, and it was found that the SiC ceramics did not exhibit any change for the 3 year corrosion test at $70^{\circ}C$. Therefore, it was concluded that SiC ceramics could be a good alternative to carbon steel in application to deep borehole disposal canisters.
공학적방벽 현장실증 시스템 (IN-DEBS) 개발을 위한 해외 실증연구 현황 분석

The worldwide Status-of-Art survey for the in-situ experiments of the engineered barrier system for HLW underground disposal was performed as a preliminary action for the design of the in-situ demonstration at KURT. Some nations, which have executed or is ongoing the in-situ experiments at their underground research facilities, were summarized in this review. The demonstration projects reviewed were TBT/Sweden-France, LOT/Sweden, HE-E/Switzerland, PRACLAY/Belgium, FEBEX/Spain, HORONOBE/Japan, and BCE/Canada. The investigated items for the projects were mainly their purposes, constitutional structures, test conditions, monitoring parameters and the measuring tools, and test results. In this review, the hardware design and the assembling of the test system were more concentrated rather than their experimental results, because the purpose of this review is to achieve the necessary information for the practical design of the in-situ experiment to be installed at KURT. A mid scale in-situ demonstration of EBS at KURT, that is called IN-DBES, will be launched right after the completion the expanding project of KURT in 2015. It is hoped that the structural design, installing methods, hardware equipments required in the establishment of IN-DEBS will be referred on this review.

This survey was conducted from May 2017 to August 2018 as part of the National Marine Ecosystem Surveys sponsored by MOF (Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries) and KOEM (Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation). The survey was conducted at 157 stations including intertidal zones, coastal sand dunes and beaches. A total of 72 species of halophytes were identified and the total vegetated area was $1,813,546m^2$ in coastal waters of Korea. In the west coast region, Suaeda japonica was the dominant species, Phragmites communis in the southern coast, and Carex kobomugi in the east coast. Phragmites communis was the most dominant with $1,136,643m^2$ (62.7%) in the whole surveyed area. The top 11 dominant plants are Phragmites communis, Suaeda japonica, Suaeda maritima, Zoysia sinica, Carex kobomugi, Elymus mollis, Suaeda malacosperma, Phacelurus latifolius, Triglochin maritimum, Carex pumila and Carex scabrifolia, and Phragmites communis and Suaeda japonica accounted for 75.9% of the total vegetated area. The distribution of halophyte on the coast of Korea was determined by the habitat types rather than the climate ranges, and there was a difference in the species diversity and habitat range of the halophyte depending on the habitat diversities within the same area.

This study aims to identify factors affecting the professional competency of extension agents in south korea. A survey was conducted targeting extension agents working in 165 extension offices nationwide. A total of 1,406 questionnaires were collected and used for analysis. In order to identify factors affecting the professional competency, multiple linear regression analysis was conducted. The main results of the analysis are as follows. First, in terms of individual characteristics, age and education level were found to have a significant positive effect on the professional competency of extension agents. Second, in terms of training experience, the number of times they participated in competency training and the length of employment were found to have a significant positive effect on the professional competency. Third, In terms of job field, the human resources/planning field and the crop technology field were found to have a significant positve effect on professional competency compared to the life improvement field.

The theme of the painting of Francis Bacon is the figure of the humans. However, that figure is torn out and distorted like the body afflicted with the violence, so that its vivid color and tangible feeling of living flesh always attracts the eyes of the viewers, not to mention of the strong sense of horror. Very surprise for that distorted figure is to keep the relation of analogy with the object, which is distant from the representation in the traditional paintings. Nonetheless, those characteristics of the Bacon’s painting once made him to be recognized as a painter just in line with the traditional figurative paintings, or as an expressionist who participated in the suffering of the age and the pain of the existence after the World War II. However, he would reject any analysis about his works and refuse himself to be classified into any category from the critics. So the art-historical study of his painting has been thoroughly performed in the biographical perspective or through the interviews with the painter himself. Among the various scholars of his painting, a common point has been established regarding the coexisting characteristic of two opposite elements, such as figurative vs. non-figurative, or traditional vs. nontraditional. The origin of my thesis is to affirm and enrich this coexisting dualistic characteristic of the Bacon’s painting, now widely admitted in the art-historical field. This is ultimately related to identifying the meaning of what is the‘analogy distant from the representation’in the images of Bacon. He put great emphasis on the responsibility of the contemporary paintings to re-invent the reality through a new way, breaking the representative and illustrative images in the traditional paintings. What is in the world the new way Bacon keeps emphasizing and what is the reality he pursues with his works? In order to answer these questions, thus, my thesis examines not only the major art-historical issues but also the philosophical studies about the Bacon’s painting. This is a new attempt to see the duality and its reality of his painting in a wider perspective, which relatively lacked in the traditional art-historical studies.

본 연구에서는 다중죠인 질의에 대하여 최적에 가까운 죠인순차를 빠른 시간내에 결정할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 이 최적화 기법은 유전 알고리즘을 기반으로 하였으며, 이를 위하여 병렬 데이타베이스 환경에서의 다중죠인 질의 수행 모델을 설정하고, 이 모델에 따라 유전 알고리즘을 구성하는 요소들을 정의하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 다중죠인 질의 최적화 문제에 잘 적용되는 새로운 교차(crossover) 연산을 정의하였고, 최적화 과정의 병렬화를 고려하여 앞으로 병렬 환경의 표준으로 많이 거론되는 PVM상에서 병렬 유전 알고리즘으로 구현하였다.

피싱은 인터넷을 이용한 일종의 사기 수법이다. 피싱을 방지하기 위하여 웹 브라우저 밴더에서는 블랙리스트 기반의 피싱 탐지 기술을 제공하고 있다. 또한 기계학습을 이용한 피싱 탐지 기법들이 제안되어 피싱 공격에 대응을 하고 있다. 하지만, 피싱 공격이 진화 함에 따라 기존의 기술들이 탐지 못하는 경우가 발생을 한다. 피싱 페이지가 생성된 후 일정 시간이 지나지 않을 경우는 기존의 리스트 기반의 솔루션이 탐지를 하지 못하며, 이미지 기반의 피싱 공격의 경우 기존의 연구들이 탐지 하지 못한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 구글 검색엔진을 이용하여 이러한 문제점들을 해결하는 방안을 제안한다.

This study aims to analyze the differences of experienced versus expected service quality levels on allotment gardens' users with respect to 16 service quality measurements. Utilizing Gronroos's model ofperceived service quality, an exploratory empirical study of 294 quests reveals gaps between expected and experienced service dimensions. The authors conducted a gap analysis between loyal customers and potential switchers The results of this study are as follows; First, functional quality appears to be a very important facet of the perceived service, and the importance of image by means of functional quality should be recognized to allotment managers. Second, governmental supports should concentrate on facilitating technical service quality, especially toilet and cafeteria.
