Trametes cubensis 버섯 추출물이 소의 대동맥 내피세포의 혈관 기능에 미치는 효능

버섯은 예로부터 암과 염증 질환의 약재로써 많이 사용되어왔다. Trametes cubensis 버섯종은 현재까지 많은 연구가 이루어지지 않았고, 형태학적 특성만 알려져 있고 효능에 관한 연구 보고가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는T. cubensis 균사체 추출물(Trametes cubensis extract, TCE) 의 혈관생리학적 효능을 알아보기 위해 세포와 분자수준에서의 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 TCE를 처리하였을 때, 세포 독성은 없었고 세포성장을 촉진시켰다. 또한 세포이동이 TCE에 의해 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 다음으로 LPS (Lipopolysaccharide)에 의해 유도된 THP-1 세포의 내피세포 부착이 TCE에 의해 억제되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 세포신호전달 경로 분석을 한 결과, TCE에 의해 활성산소가 증가하였으며, Akt억제를 통하여 p38 MAPK가 활성화되었다. 그리고 TCE가 촉발하는 세포성장, 세포이동, 단핵구 부착 등은 p38 MAPK (mitogen-activated protein kinase)에 의해 조절되었으며, 활성산소와는 관련이 없었다. 결론적으로, TCE는 세포성장, 세포이동, 단핵구 부착을 조절하였으며, 이는 TCE가 동맥경화와 같은 심혈관계 질환의 예방 및 치료제 혹은 혈관기능개선제로 개발될 가능성이 있음을 암시한다. Mushrooms have been extensively used as traditional medicines to treat cancer and inflammatory diseases. In this study, we examined whether Trametes cubensis extract (TCE) exerted beneficial effects on cardiovascular function. First, we demonstrated that TCE was non-cytotoxic and enhanced cell proliferation of bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAEC). Moreover, TCE induced cell migration and blocked lipopolysaccharide-induced adhesion of monocytes to BAEC. We performed a variety of cell signaling studies, showing that TCE activates p38 MAPK and generates reactive oxygen species (ROS). Our results showed that TCE-induced vascular functions were mediated by p38 MAPK, but not by ROS. These results provide insights into bio-medical applications of TCE as a preventive or therapeutic agent for treating cardiovascular diseases including atherosclerosis.

본 연구에서는 어린이들에게 매우 중요한 일상의 요소인 인터넷을 하나의 미디어로 보고 인터넷의 소비가 어린이들의 사회적 관계와 어떠한 관련성이 있는지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 사회적 관계를 맺는 방식이 인터넷을 이용하는 패턴에 영향을 주는지를 알아보기 위해서는 한 시점의 횡적 조사를 통해서 알아내기란 불가능하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2년에 걸쳐 동일한 집단을 대상으로 텔레비전과 인터넷 등 미디어 이용에 따라 사회적 관계를 맺는 방식이 달라지는가를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 서울시내 1개 초등학교에서 2학년, 5학년 학생들을 대상으로 2004년에 조사한 후 다시 동일한 집단을 대상으로 이들이 3학년, 6학년이 되었을 때 반복 조사하여 그 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 분석결과 어린이들의 친구관계에 텔레비전보다는 인터넷이 더 유의미하게 작용하고 있었고, 부모와의 대화에는 오히려 텔레비전이 부정적 영향을 주었다. 텔레비전에 비해 인터넷은 커뮤니케이션의 주요 도구로 직접 활용이 가능하다. 텔레비전의 이용정도는 학생들의 연결망의 특성에 별다른 영향을 주고 있지 못하지만 인터넷은 그 이용정도에 따라 차별적으로 영향을 미치고 있는 것이다. 또한 인터넷을 많이 이용하는 학생들의 경우 그렇지 않은 학생들에 비해 상대적으로 관계망의 중심에 근접하는 특성을 보여주고 있다. 인터넷 이용정도가 높다는 것은 인터넷 이용을 통해 얻게 되는 정보의 양이 많다는 것을 의미한다는 측면에서 텔레비전을 통해 얻게 되는 정보보다는 인터넷에서 얻게 되는 정보가 관계의 형성과 유지에 도움이 되는 것이다. This study views the mass media as important aspects of children's everyday lives and that they have significant effects on how they relate to others socially. The mechanism of how media use affect the social relationships and networks cannot be studied cross-sectionally. We need to pursue a longitudinal panel study in order to see the actual changes that occur across time. This study is a two year consecutive panel study that surveyed children of various ages. We adopted the network effects as an important factor in explaining the media use of children. The survey was conducted in an elementary school in Seoul. Children in the second and fifth grade were surveyed the first year and in the second year, the same students were surveyed with similar questionnaires. The results show that internet, more than television, influences the social relationships children engage in. However, the communication with parents were less affected by the internet but more so by the time spent on television. This can be explained by the fact that the internet is a communication device as well as a means to entertain ment or information. Various forms of internet use influence the social networks differently. Also, those who use the internet are relatively situated in the center of the social networks of the children.

As an effort to explore fungal diversity, fungal survey was undertaken in 2018 in Jangheung, Korea. For the survey, medicinal plant leaves were sampled from Selaginella tamariscina, Serratula coronata ssp. insularis, Scutellaria baicalensis, Scrophularia buergeriana and subjected to fungal isolation. Four unrecorded fungal species, Paraboeremia selaginellae, Colletotrichum camelliae, Alternaria eichhorniae, and Phomopsis capsici were obtained from the survey. This study described their morphological characteristics including colony features formed on media, light microscopic images and molecular characteristics of nucleotide sequences of the ITS and 28S rDNA regions.
