한국기계연구원에서는 원자로냉각재펌프의 완전특성을 시험할 수 있는 시험 설비를 구축하였다. 이 설비는 유량은 최대 2,000 m3/hr, 동력은 최대 132 kW까지 펌프 및 수차의 시험이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 완전특성 시험장치 및 시험방법, 이를 이용한 원자로냉각재펌프의 시험결과를 소개하고자 한다. An experimental test facility for the complete characteristics of pumps is constructed at KIMM(Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials). This paper describes the test facility and test technique of the complete characteristics of pumps, together with a experimental test result for a reactor coolant pump.

Booster pump is used for storing liquid CO₂ into the marine or ground geological structure. The booster pump in this study is a centrifugal type with volute and' has a non-dimensional specific speed of 0.25. The hydraulic performance of this pump is investigated numerically by using the commercial code CFX. k-w based SST turbulent model is used to simulate the 3-D turbulent flow.

Two stages centrifugal compressor using R134a as working fluid for a 145RT class chiller has been developed. Each stage of Centrifugal compressors is connected by return channel. An aerodynamic design was done by applying the repeating design procedure including a meanline design, a 3D geometry generation and fluid dynamic calculation. The performance test was also conducted by the experiment. So, in this paper, design, performance prediction and experiments results for two stages turbo refrigerant compressor will be presented.
