실버세대 신체특성과 감성요소를 적용한 재활제품 실무디자인 개발

많은 나라들이 고령화 단계에 접어들면서 중·노년층을 위한 신체 재활제품에 대한 수요도 크게 증가하고 있지만, 기존 관련 제품은 디자인이나 감성적인 측면을 고려한 실용적인 양산제품이 부족한 실정이다. 이 연구는 중·노년층을 위한 하반신 재활제품의 문제점을 파악하고, 대상 그룹의 특수한 생리적, 심리적 특성을 고려하며 기술적 속성을 강조한 인체공학적 기능성을 높이고, 사용 과정의 복잡성을 개선하며, 유지 보수가 용이한 제품디자인을 목표로 연구하였다. 또한, 제품에 적용될 감성적인 요소를 연구하고, 제품의 특성과 사용자의 감성을 결합하여 재활제품의 디자인 프로세스를 통합적으로 설계하였다. 제품디자인은 포지셔닝을 통해 새로운 디자인 요구 방향을 제시하고, 명확한 디자인 및 개발 목표를 설정하는 것이 중요하므로, 적극적인 기능성 연구를 조형성으로 적용하여 제품을 개발하고자 하였다. 설계 과정을 통해 실용적인 제품을 도출하고, 제품의 이론적 타당성, 합리성, 감성 요구 사항을 검증하기 위해 3D 렌더링을 활용하였다. 이러한 제품의 설계와 연구를 통해 노인 사용자를 위한 재활 제품에 대한 참조를 제공할 수 있기를 기대한다. The trend of population aging is becoming increasingly evident as the number of middle-aged and elderly people is rapidly increasing. Many countries around the world are entering the aging phase, leading to a surge in the need for rehabilitation products targeting this demographic. However, existing products in the market lack practical mass-produced options that incorporate design and emotional aspects. This research aims to address the shortcomings of existing lower body rehabilitation products for the middle-aged and elderly population. It takes into consideration the specific physiological and psychological characteristics of the target group and emphasizes ergonomic functionality while improving the complexity of the usage process and ensuring ease of maintenance. The objective is to design practical products that fill the gaps in the current market offerings. Additionally, the study explores the incorporation of emotional elements into the products and integrates user sentiments with product characteristics throughout the design process. Positioning plays a crucial role in product design by providing new design directions and defining clear design and development goals. Therefore, active functional research is applied in a form-driven approach to product development. Through the design process, practical application products are derived, and 3D rendering is utilized to validate the theoretical soundness, rationality, and product emotional requirements prior to release. It is expected that this design and research on rehabilitation products will provide valuable references for elderly users.
