. This study examined the effect of whole-body myofascial release on body alignment in the frontal and sagittal planes while standing in adults with abnormal body alignment. Twelve adults with abnormal alignment were recruited for this study. Whole-body myofascial release was performed for ten sessions, 90 minutes, once a week. Measurement of changes in body alignment was performed using exbody 770 before treatment, after five treatments, and after ten treatments. The results showed a significant difference in the frontal and sagittal plane of body alignment while standing (p<0.05). The findings of this study demonstrated that whole-body myofascial release had a positive effect on biomechanical standing posture and balance in adults with abnormal body alignment.

Cities grow through a series of processes that lead from a single structure to a multi-nuclear structure, and naturally become Metropolis because of their communion with neighboring cities. However, Residential Development Project are difficult to naturally link functionality among surrounding cities that occur during the process of general urban growth that is artificially created in urban suburbs. Therefore, the impact of Residential Development on the rate of change in population and number of workers in Gyeonggi-do and Incheon Metropolitan City between 2015 and 2005 was analyzed in detail and the following results were derived. First, it was found that only the area of residential development zones had a significant value in terms of impact on population changes. Second, it was analyzed that the area and number of residential development zones had significant values as the impact on the change in the number of workers, and that it had significant values with the presence or absence of residential development zones.

This study was conducted to increase the functionality of Korean traditional beverage, Sikhye. The Sikhye were prepared by supplementation up to 20% of Seomaeyaksuk extract (SE) and saccharification for five hours (h). During the saccharification, turbidity of SE-added Sikhye (SES) was the highest at two hours of saccharification and then lowered gradually. L vlaue of SES did not show significant difference feduring saccharification, and both a and b value of Sikhye were increased as saccharification time passed and SE addition ratio was increased. The pH before saccharification was not significantly different by SE addition ratio but it was increased to 5.68-5.73 at 5 h saccharification. Soluble solid, total sugar and reducing sugar contents were enhanced as saccharification time and SE addition ratio were increased. The total phenolic compounds contents and DPPH radical scavenging activity showed a similar trend by saccharification time and SE addition. In sensory test, the evaluations of 5% SES and control were not significant different, but 20% SES group showed significant lower evaluation than other groups because strong color and mugwort flavor. From all of these results, physicochemical characteristics and antioxidant activity of SES was improved by SE addition but sensory characteristics was lower. Acceptable addition ratio of SE in Sikhye is determined to be within 15%.
