Objective : As the meaning of collective medical examination, the purpose of this study is to investigate distribution of weak children by measurement according to the five group of weakness (Lung, Heart, Pancreas, Liver, Kidney), and the relationship between the five group of weakness and the Growth failure on primary school children. Methods : This study is composed of 1078 children who attend A primary school in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ city. They are divided into 6 groups by grade and for the purpose of effective comparison, The five weak symptoms are studied to determine the association with growth stature among children and we standardize the weak children's height into percent according to age. Results: When each weak children controled grade, sex, body-weight, existence or nonexistence of personal history, physical exercise so on, relatively group of weakness for kidney is statistically less then opposite group and the rest of the people statistically have no significant difference. Conclusions: From the above result, it is suggested that the statistical relationship between the weakness for kidney and growth(p<0.001). It looks forward to have contributed to collective medical examination and children's health care by oriental medical treatment.

1. Objectives and Methods A Study on the Characteristics of the Korean Adult Male Sound according to Sasang Constitution using PSSC with a Sentence. Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM) is the one of the traditional Korean Medicine. It classifies people into four categories like Taeyangin, Soyangin, Taeumin and Soeumin. The rule to classify is Appearance and Body Shape, Facial Appearance and Speech, Character and Talents and Diseases and Medications. This study was done to investigate the relationships between Voice and Sound parameters using PSSC(Phonetic System of Sasang Constitution) in a sentence. Experimental Participants were 195 Korean adult males including 1 Taeyangin, 37 Soyangin, 105 Taeumin and 52 Soeumin. Sasang Constitutional specialist used PSSC and Korean Medical Diagnosis to classify participants into four constitution. 2. Results In Pitch segment, Soyangin's Center freq.(4) was significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Taeumin groups. Soyangin's and Soeumin's Center freq.(6) was significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Taeumin groups. In APQ segment and Octave segment, there were no significant differences among four groups. In Shimmer segment, Taeumin's F Shimmer(1) and F Shimmer(2) were significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Soyangin groups. In Energy segment, Taeyangin's 2k-4k total sum, 2k-4k dev., C dev., C# dev. and D S.D. were significantly high compared with other groups. In Recording time segment, there was no significant difference among four groups. More Taeyangin cases and the other parameters are needed to determine constitution using PSSC and to make PSSC effective. 3. Conclusions From above result, there is the possibility of efficiency standard guide for constitution diagnosis by analyzation og voice.

소아의 한약복용에 관한 임상적 실태 조사

Objectives : Oriental medicine has set the no herb medicamentous dose for child, on the other hand the western medicine has it standardizing of age, weight or dimension of body. Therefore, we aimed to research the herb medicamentous dose for child being in being used in clinic. Methods : We made up a question of the oriental medical doctors of the master's and doctor's course in ○○ university. Results : 1. Child dose of herb medicine a time likes this. 1 pack is written prescription most at children patients under 1 year. 1 pack and 2 packs are written prescription most at children patients over 1 under 2. 2 packs are written prescription most at children patients over 2 under 3. 4 packs are written prescription most at children patients over 3 under 4. 10 packs are written prescription most at children patients over 8 under 14. Dose of herb medicine written prescription at children patients over 5 under 8 is in decentralization from 2 to 10 packs. 2. 2 or 3 times are most in a number of taking medicine a day. 3. 3 days are common in period of taking medicine under 5, over 10 days are common over 5. 4. It is necessary to regulating child dose of herb medicine.

1. Objectives and Methods Sasang Constitutional Medicine is the original Korean Medicine. The purpose of this study was to objectify the diagnosis of Sasang Constitution. 212 Women's sentences were analyzed into 228 factors like Pitch, APQ, Shimmer, Octave and Energy, etc. Women's sentences were classified into 3 categories: total group, under 54 years old group and over 55 years old group. 2. Results 1) In Total group Soyangin's Center feq.(3) was significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Taeumin groups. Taeumin's Pitch2 was significantly high compared with Soeumin and Taeyangin groups. Taeyangin's Pitch S.D. was significantly high compared with Soyangin group. Taeyangin's Octave6 was significantly high compared with Soeumin group. There were no significant differences among constitutional groups in APQ and Shimmer segment. On the point of Energy, Taeyangin's G Tot E(1), G# Tot E(1), G dev.(1), G# dev.(1), G Tot E(2), G# Tot E(2), G dev.(4) and G# dev.(4) were significantly high compared with other groups. Soyangin's A#S.D.(2) was significantly high compared with Taeyangin group. Taeyangin's A#S.D.(3) was significantly high compared with Taeumin group. Taeyangin's F S.D.(5), F# S.D.(5) and Max Average were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeumin's Peak3 and Peak4 were significantly high compared with Taeyangin group. Taeumin's PeakValue1 was significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's PeakValue2 was significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's PeakValue3 and PeakValue5 were significantly high compared with Other groups. 2) In Under 54 years old group, there were no significant differences among constitutional groups in APQ, Shimmer and Octave segment.
