        $Annubar^{(R)}$형 차압유량계 형상 개선에 따른 유량 특성 연구

        The inner structure of the triangular separate bar (TSB) was improved to enhance the productivity of the TSB flow meter by simplifying the machining process for making the flow meter. The cross section of upstream and downstream pressure chamber in the TSB was changed from triangle to circle, which make it possible to substitute the wire cutting by drilling in the process of machining the pressure chamber. The flow rate characteristics of the flow meters was calibrated with a laminar flow meter. Six kinds of flow meters whose diameters of pressure tap for measuring pressure of both upsteam and downstream pressure chamber were different one another were made. The effects of the pressure tap diameter on the flow rate characteristics of the TSB flow meter was little. The mass flow rate characteristics of the flow meters with increasing a non-dimensional parameter which includes the gas temperature, exhaust gas pressure and differential pressure at the flow meters and atmospheric pressure shows nearly linear relationship with a correlation coefficient of R=0.998.

        FTP-75 냉간 주행 모드로 운전하는 차량의 연료분사 모사시스템에 관한 연구

        A fuel injection system which is operated with a real vehicle driving simulation was developed as an alternative to a vehicle test for the fuel injectors. The sensor signals that are supplied to the ECU were measured and recorded as a data file for a vehicle driven in FTP-75 mode in a chassis dynamometer. The imperative sensor signals of the throttle position, vehicle speed, engine speed, crank position, cam position, intake air flow, and cooling water and intake air temperature were reconstructed using FPGA DAQ boards and a PXI computer. The scanning results showed good agreement with the input signals that were reconstructed. The ECU HILS system operated successfully to drive six fuel injectors, which injected fuel in the same pattern as if they were mounted in the vehicle driven in FTP-75 mode. Also, the fuel injection system developed in this research shows the possibility of application in evaluating the characteristics of fuel injection rate for injectors according to properties of injected fuel with the real driving mode of vehicles.

        디젤 엔진 연료 분사 타이밍 구간에서의 흡기 포트 스월비 1D 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션

        This study was performed to calculate the swirl ratio of a diesel engine intake port by a 1D computer simulation under actual engine operating conditions. The swirl ratio of the intake port was simulated according to the change of the engine speed during the operation of the motoring without fuel injection. The swirl ratio of the intake port was simulated according to changes in the crank angle during the four-cycle operation of intake, compression, expansion and exhaust. The swirl ratio represented by the three regions of the piston, center and squish was simulated. Among the three regions, the piston-region swirl ratio is important for effective air-fuel mixing in the engine cylinder. In particular, it was confirmed during the simulation that the piston swirl ratio before and after the compression top dead center (TDC) point when fuel is injected in the DI diesel engine can have a significant effect on the mixing of air and fuel. It was desirable to set the average piston swirl ratio over a crank angle section before and after compression TDC as the representative swirl ratio of the cylinder head intake port according to the change of the engine speed.

        카본 나노튜브 및 알루미나 첨가제가 윤활 및 마모특성에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

        In this work, carbon nanotube and nano-size alumina particle are exploited as additive for lubrication experiment. We used pin-on-disk type tribometer to investigate the tribological characteristics of lubricants with respect to additives and rotational speed. We conducted more than 15 trials of tribotests for two hours for each specimen to obtain stable and accurate frictional force and to create measurable wear track on the substrate. We conducted tests at the boundary/mixed lubrication regime to evaluate the influence of additives on the tribological characteristics. We found that the friction coefficient decreased as the rotational speed increased and as additives were added. In particular, the reduction of friction by adding additives was more significant at low rotational speed than at high rotational speed. We speculate that the additives helped to separate and protect the two contacting surfaces at low speed, while the influence of additives was not significant at high speed since sufficiently thick lubricant film was formed. The wear of the substrate was also reduced by adding additives to the lubricant. However, in contrast to friction, the amount of wear at high rotational speed was less when alumina particles were added to the lubricant than the amount of wear at low speed. We speculate that the increased wear at low rotational speed is as a result of the intermittent abrasive wear caused by alumina particles with uneven shape, while the reduced wear at high speed is as a result of sufficient film thickness which prevented the abrasive wear.

        엔진오일 누유 가시화 및 식별력 증대를 위한 기동화력장비 엔진 공정개선

        최근 2년간 군 기동화력장비의 엔진 생산 공정 중에 발생한 주요 품질문제 중에는 엔진오일 누유가 가장 많은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 이를 최소화하기 위해서는 엔진오일 누유에 대한 근본적인 원인 파악과 다빈도로 발생되는 누유부위에 대한 파악이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 더 나아가 품질비용 감소를 위해서는 엔진 조립 및 검사공정에서 누유에 대한 사전식별이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 형광염료가 주입된 엔진오일을 통하여 누유를 가시화하고 엔진오일 누유 현상에 대한 식별성을 증대시켜 군 기동화력장비 엔진의 생산품질을 향상시키고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 기존에 사용하는 엔진오일과 형광염료가 주입된 엔진오일의 특성분석을 통하여 대체 가능성에 대해 검토하였으며 엔진오일 주입 공정과 누유검사 공정을 개선하여 엔진오일 누유에 의하여 발생할 수 있는 정비기간 및 시간을 최소화 시키고자 하였다. 최종적으로 본 연구결과를 토대로 군 기동화력장비 엔진의 신뢰도 확보 및 엔진 생산업체의 품질관리 능력 향상을 통하여 엔진 생산공정간 발생할 수 있는 품질비용을 최소화 시킬 수 있다고 사료된다. Engine oil leaks comprise the largest percentage of the major quality problems that have occurred during the engine production process for military land system equipment over the last two years. To minimize this, it is essential to understand the root cause of the engine oil leakage and perceive the more common leakage area, as well as reduce the quality costs of pre-identification for leaks in the engine assembly process and single items. Therefore, in this study, the mass production quality of engines installed and operated in power equipment was improved by visualizing the engine oil leakage injected with the fluorescent dye and increasing the identification of the engine oil leak phenomenon. For this reason, the possibility of substituting the engine oil was considered and the engine oil was injected with the fluorescent dye. The maintenance was improved by reforming the engine oil injection process and leakage inspection process. Finally, these results suggest that the quality costs between mass production processes can be minimized by ensuring the reliability of military engines by reducing the user"s complaints and improving the quality control capabilities of engine manufacturers.

        엔진 발전기 추가 적용을 통한 軍 지휘 · 지원차량의 광대역 전자파 방사 노이즈 개선

        현재 운영되고 있는 군 지휘 · 지원차량은 상용차량의 일부를 개조하여 제작되었으며, 군에서 필요한 통신장비 운용환경을 확보하기 위하여 통신실 내부에 별도의 컨버터를 장착하는 전원공급시스템이 적용되었다. 하지만, 이러한 전원공급시스템은 전자파 방사 노이즈를 발생시켜 차량에서 무전교신 시 잦은 잡음과 통신감도 저하 등의 문제점이 발생되었다. 이를 개선하기 위해, 엔진에 발전기를 추가 장착하여 통신장비에 필요한 전력을 공급받도록 전원공급시스템을 변경하였다. 추가 장착된 발전기는 통신장비가 운용되는 통신실과 완전히 분리된 엔진 룸에 위치하도록 설계되어 전원공급시스템에서 발생되는 전자파 방사 노이즈에 의한 영향을 감소시켜줄 것으로 기대되었다. 개선된 시스템의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 기존 차량과 신규 전원공급시스템이 적용된 차량에 대하여 광대역 방사시험을 각각 수행하였고 측정 결과를 비교하였다. 시험 결과 신규 전원공급시스템이 적용된 차량의 광대역 방사 노이즈는 국내 자동차 안전기준에 모두 만족하였으며, 기존 차량 대비 일부 주파수 구간을 제외한 대부분의 구간에서 감소함을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 차량 우측면의 수직편파 170~225 ㎒ 구간에서 최대 10.751 ㏈㎶/m 감소하였다. The military tactical vehicle currently being operated is manufactured by improving the parts of commercial vehicles. In addition, the power supply system is applied by installing a separate converter inside the communication room to secure the operating environment of communication equipment. On the other hand, due to electromagnetic radiation noise, there are problems in frequent noise and deterioration in communication sensitivity during wireless communication in vehicles. To improve these, an advanced power supply system is applied, which is also equipped with an alternator to receive power required for communication equipment reducing broadband electromagnetic radiation noise. An additionally installed alternator, which is located in the engine room, is separated from the communication room where communication equipment is operated and is expected to reduce the effect of electromagnetic radiation noise generated from the power supply system. To verify these, a broadband radiation test was performed on a previous and advanced one. As a result, the broadband radiation noise of vehicles with an applied advanced power supply system satisfied all of the domestic vehicle safety standards and reduced in most of the sections except for some frequencies compared to previous typed vehicles. In particular, broadband radiation noise was decreased by up to 10.751 ㏈㎶/m in the vertical sections in 170 to 200 ㎒ on the right side of the vehicle.
