        아래팔의 자세 변화에 따른 어깨 가쪽돌림 시 가시위근과 가시아래근의 근활성도 분석

        Purpose: The aim of this study is to provide basic information to create an efficient training program to improve shoulder stability and function in patients with injuries and in patients having undergone surgery of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles, which have a relatively high incidence of injury in shoulder joint disease. Further, independent activities of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles were investigated according to forearm rotation and the neutral and lateral rotation postures. Methods: The activities of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles were measured using surface electromyography in 22 healthy adults in Busan, and isokinetic muscle strength measurement equipment was used to measure muscle strength during shoulder lateral rotation. The subjects performed lateral rotation of the shoulder in three different forearm postures (neutral, supine, prone) to measure shoulder muscle activity and lateral rotation strength. Results: The independent activity ratio (% Isolation) of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles during lateral rotation of the shoulder joint demonstrated a significant difference (p<0.05) according to the change in forearm posture. Conclusion: The supraspinatus muscle showed independent activity ranging from highest to lowest in the order of pronation, neutral, and supination of the forearm, while the independent activity of the infraspinatus muscle ranged from highest to lowest in the order of neutral, supination, and pronation of the forearm. Therefore, the most active forearm positions for the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles are pronation and neutral, respectively.

        청소년의 자극추구성향 및 가상세계와 현실세계 자기효능감의 고 · 저 수준이 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of adolescent’s sensation seeking and differences between internet self-efficacy and real self-efficacy on the smart phone addiction. The 552 middle-school students were recruited and data were collected with questionnaires. The results of this study showed as follows. First, in the relationships between sensation seeking and the smart phone addiction, as the adolescent’s sensation seeking were higher the smart phone addiction was increased. And the internet self-efficacy had significantly positive correlations with smart phone addiction, on the other hand the real self-efficacy had significantly negative correlations with smart phone addiction. Second, adolescent’s sensation seeking had an effect on the smart phone addiction. Third, there were differences in the degree of smart phone addiction due to the differences of internet self-efficacy and real self-efficacy. The score list of smart phone addiction were found to ‘high internet self-efficacy low real self-efficacy group', ‘low internet self-efficacy low real self-efficacy group’, ‘high internet self-efficacy high real self-efficacy group', and ‘low internet self-efficacy high real self-efficacy group' in decreasing order. Finally the implications and limitations of this study were discussed. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰을 사용하는 청소년을 대상으로 자극추구성향 및 가상세계와 현실세계 자기효능감의 고 · 저 수준이 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 연구대상은 스마트폰을 사용하는 중학생 552명(남 272명, 여 280명)이었으며, 측정도구로는 청소년용 자극추구성향척도, 가상세계 자기효능감, 현실세계 자기효능감 척도, 스마트폰중독 척도를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 청소년의 자극추구성향과 스마트폰 중독의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 하위요인에 따라 정도 차이는 있지만 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가상세계 자기효능감은 스마트폰 중독과 정적 상관관계가 있는 반면, 현실세계 자기효능감은 스마트폰 중독과 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 자극추구성향은 스마트폰중독을 유의하게 예측하였고, 하위변인 중 일탈적 경험추구, 새로운 경험추구가 스마트폰중독에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 가상세계 자기효능감 고, 현실세계 자기효능감 저 집단이 그 외의 세 집단에 비해 스마트폰중독점수가 가장 높았고, 가상세계 자기효능감 저, 현실세계 자기효능감 저 집단, 가상세계 자기효능감 고, 현실세계 자기효능감 고 집단, 가상세계 자기효능감 저, 현실세계 자기효능감 고 집단 순으로 스마트폰 중독 성향이 높았다. 이를 통해 청소년의 자극추구성향 및 가상세계와 현실세계 자기효능감의 고 · 저 수준이 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 요인이라는 것을 확인하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.

        도수근막이완기법과 폼롤러를 이용한 자가근막이완기법이 만성 긴장성 두통 환자의 통증문턱값 및 신체 도식에 미치는 효과 비교

        Purpose: Headache is a very common disease experienced at least once in daily life, and tension-type headaches have a high and increasing prevalence. Chronic headaches can cause functional damage and huge socioeconomic impacts. This study aimed to compare the effects of myofascial release technique with manual therapy and self-myofascial release technique using a foam roller on the pain threshold and body schema in patients with chronic tension-type headaches. Methods: The study was conducted on 20 patients living in Busan with chronic tension headaches. Myofascial release technique with manual therapy was performed on the suboccipital, sternocleidomastoid, scalene, and upper trapezius muscles. The self-myofascial release technique using a foam roller was applied to the cervical and thoracic muscles. A laterality test was performed using a recognized neck application developed to evaluate body schema ability. A pressure-pain threshold test was performed using an electronic pressure algometer to compare the results before and after the myofascial release technique. Results: After applying myofascial release with manual therapy and a foam roller, the pressure-pain threshold values showed significant changes in both groups (p<.05). As a result of the laterality test, myofascial release with manual therapy and a foam roller were applied to the painful area. The values showed significant changes in both groups (p<.05), but only the group using the foam roller showed a significant difference (p<.05) in painless areas. Conclusion: The myofascial release technique with manual therapy can be the primary treatment technique for pain control in painful areas. The self-muscle release technique using a foam roller can be an effective method when there is no pain or when maintenance is needed after pain control.

        보행기호잇기검사: 새로운 신체 및 인지 기능에 대한 이중 과제 평가도구로서의 효용성에 대한 예비연구

        PURPOSE: Falls are caused by a decline in physical and cognitive function. A quantitative evaluation tool that can comprehensively evaluate motor and cognitive functions for elderly people with an impaired physical function. This study assessed the clinical application potential by confirming the correlation between the physical function tests, cognitive and the stepping trail-making test (S-TMT). METHODS: Fourteen community-dwelling older patients (65-75 years) were recruited. The study conducted cognitive function tests with the trail-making test (TMT-A, B), and physical function tests (6-minute walking test (6MWT), short physical performance battery (SPPB), and timed up and go (TUG)). The results of were analyzed using SPSS version 21.0. Descriptive statistics were used for the general characteristics of the study subjects, and the correlations between S-TMT, other functional tests were examined through Pearson’s correlation analysis. The statistical significance was set to .05. RESULTS: S-TMT had a significant positive correlation with the TUG (r = .588*) and trail-making test-B (TMT-B) (r = .689*, p < .05). Furthermore, S-TMT showed a negative correlation between SPPB (r = -.397) and 6MWT (r = -.422), but it was not statistically significant. CONCLUSION: S-TMT is a cognitive-gait dual-task performance evaluation tool that can be performed safely. A significant correlation was confirmed between the TUG test and the TMT-B. S-TMT is a dual-task screening tool that can evaluate both physical and cognitive functions simultaneously.

        유연성 평발에 적용한 로우다이 테이핑에 의한 균형 수행력의 변화

        PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to determine the immediate effect of low-dye taping on balance performance in subjects with flexible flatfoot. METHODS: Fifteen asymptomatic volunteers who had flexible flatfoot (age, 21.7±1.81years; height, 164.80±7.57cm;weight, 56.47±10.48kg) were participated for this study. Navicular drop test was used to evaluate pronation of foot in three different conditions; non-weight bearing position without low-dye taping, weight bearing position without low-dye taping, weight bearing position with low-dye taping. And balance performance (anterio/ posterior, medial/lateral, and overall) was evaluated using the Biodex Balance System in three different conditions; one-leg standing without low-dye taping, one-leg standing with low-dye taping, and one-leg standing with low-dye taping in one week later. Repeated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to assess navicular height and balance performance across the three testing conditions. RESULTS: Significant and clinically meaningful improvement in navicular height was found after application of the low-dye taping. However, there was no statistically significant change in balance performance. CONCLUSION: The results of this study provide evidence to suggest that low-dye taping does not affect balance performance.

        신경 신장 적용 시간에 따른 신경흥분성 변화

        Purpose: The neurodynamic test used to implicate symptoms arising from the nerve is proposed to selectively increase the strain of the nerve without increasing the strain of adjacent tissue, although this has not yet been established in the time of nerve tension application. This study aimed to investigate the acute effects of nerve stretching time on nerve excitability using compound nerve action potential (CNAP) analysis. Methods: Thirty healthy young adults (mean age=23.10 years) with no medical history of neurological or musculoskeletal disorder voluntarily participated in this study. Nerve excitability was assessed using the median nerve conduction velocity test. The amplitude of the CNAP was measured under three conditions: resting phase (supra-maximal stimulus, without nerve stretching), baseline phase (two-thirds of the supra-maximal stimulus, without nerve stretching), and stretch phase (two-thirds of the supra-maximal stimulus, with 1-5 minutes nerve stretching). One-way repeated measures ANOVA was conducted to compare the latency and amplitude of CNAP. A post-hoc test was analyzed using the contrast test. Results: The latency was significantly delayed after 1 min. of nerve stretching in comparison with the baseline test. However, no significant difference was found during the nerve stretching (1-5 min.). The amplitude was significantly increased by nerve stretching. Conclusion: Nerve stretching can induce nerve excitability without any nerve injury. Based on the results, more than 1 min. of nerve stretching as a neurodynamic test can be a useful method in the clinical setting.
