      • 한국.일본.태국의 비교조사를 통한 거주자의 주거의식특성연구

        This paper aims to clarify the dwelling-oriented of Korean residents on public apartment housing, through the compartive field survey on questionnaire with Japanese' and Thai's. The Results are as follows; 1) Korean residents prefer apartment housing to detached house, and pursue convenient, functional fators. 2) The level of housing needs will be affected by economic level. Housing needs escalate to material level, funtional level, variable space.

      • 진주시 도시경관 정비기준 설정에 관한 연구(I) : Recognization and Institution of Townscape 경관의식과 제도적 측면

        The purpose of this study is intended to grasp for making institutional standardizations of townscapes in Chinju City. For this, we investigated not only municipal by-laws and techniques about maintenance of townscape in Japanese cities but actual conditions of institution of townscape of Chinju City, And we analysed about awareness with regard to townscape for specialists who is public officials and architectural designers by questionnaire. The conclusions are summarized as follows : (1) In the l970's municipal by-laws about townscape of Japanese cities are made for the sake of conserving historic building or area, but nowadays there are made for increasing quality of the urban environment. (2) The areas being restricted according to beautiful sight and building height are not accomplished their purposes conserving the traditional townscape (3) As the result of questionnaire, degrees of awareness of specialists about townscape were lower.

      • 韓國洋式建築의 保存對策

        The original figure of our historical architecture is being lost under the name of the development and the western style architecture of the dawning of modern Korean architecture is also hard to find its nature. It is certain that the western style architecture of the early stage is the new form of the contemporary and although being changed so much, it is not the foreign culture but the Korean culture. Therefore, it is our duty to preserve the architecture just like we hope our architecture to be preserved well. Counterplan of preservation on the western style architecture in Korea will be as follows; First of all with the exact historical estimate for the architecture, the selective preservation is needed. With the basis of the exact investigation and analysis of the existing architecture, the way of preservation is to be decided. On its neccessity, the magnification of the culture assets authorization and the revocation of the redevelopment area is to be considered. From the museum preservation of single building to the community preservation of including above is needed. From the current redevelopment of general and single high building to the way of making the complete area of middle and low building. As the most positive way of the above preservation is to preserve the exterior as its origin and to change its interior as the need of present facility and neccessity.

      • 진주시의 거주수준 및 주거의식에 관한 조사연구

        The purpose of this paper is to find the important points of new housing policies by local government. This paper examines the housing situation and the assessment of houses and residential environment, using the data from a questionnaire survey of 1,000 households in Chinju City. The results of this study are summarized as follows ; 1. Since the current level of housing stocks is sufficient, future housing policies of Chinju City should be focused on clarifying the target group for measures by encouraging independence in local areas and promoting planning. 2. It is necessary to make local housing master plan for the supply of houses to deficiency houses' residents and improving poor housing environments. 3. While conventional housing policies were based on the mass supply of low cost houses, new housing policies should target the mixture of building type - high quality detached houses areas, housing for aging, high quality rental housing, mixed use housing, etc. - in housing estates.

      • 조망경관 보호를 위한 건축물 높이제한의 쟁점과 준거기준설정방안 : 진주성주변 고도지구를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to supplement the existing frame of system that controls uniformly the height of the area, and to find the proper height that will make city harmonious with surrounding area. The results of analysis are as below; First, the result of 'evaluation by recognition for the city space structure' shows that, because rather the 'space' and 'harmony' of structure than 'height' or 'size' of it has governing effect on evaluation of scenery. Secondly, the result of 'visual satisfaction test by the height of structure' shows that, in case of Shinsekye Department Store, the overall scenery evaluation was most preferred when the height was 21m and the satisfaction level has dropped largely when it is 27m or higher. Third, the simulation on the form change of structures is also focused on the same landscape. In case of main structure by space and harmony that are major factors of scenery evaluation, only space shows the difference in satisfaction. Therefore, it is needed to consider carefully the shape of structures.

      • 도시진입부에서의 경관인지에 관한 연구 : 진주시를 중심으로

        The important of landscape management is getting higher. At this time, the needs of Landscapes damage prevention and landscape preservation are getting rise. Particularly, urban gate is close to daily life, and it is important in association with formation of territory. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the landscape image of urban gate and to find the way of manage the landscape image of urban gate. The result of analysis is as follows; Frist, the evaluation of cognition object that has an influence on landscape is in the order of size, form, height, color. Secondly, the result of factor analysis for landscape adjective shows that, the image of landscape of urban gate is affected by the three elements. That is identity, the sense of urban, and planning. Third, according to the result of factor analysis in each urban gates, after retouching gates were improved than before retouching in evaluation of the image of urban gate landscape.

      • 韓國傳統 上流住宅의 建築解釋에 관한 硏究

        Architecture is a totality of the contents devided by the life-function and of the forms made by the relation between the elements which can be devided into masses and space. The prototypes of its traditional houses made by addition to cubic-grid (Gyok-Ja) and composition of innercourt (Ma-dang). From this point of view, its prototypes devide into '□-shaped' houses and '--shaped' houses. '□-shaped' houses are characteristic of the Sadaebu' that the house of high elite;s in the middle age of Chosun Dynasty, and '--shaped' houses are characteristic of the Boonong' that the houses of rich peasant in late Chosun Dynasty. However, both of characteristic are comprised in most of traditional houses of Upper Classes. To establish the polar opposites separating the successive phases of one epoch, we must focus upon the comparable elements in the art of building and determine categories of similar feature that remain constant over a period of time. Therefore, to study on the traditional house have some connection with following tradition that we are racking our brains to find a solution in our contemporary architecture.

        This paper is focused on the problem of detached houses zones in residential development system area. This paper makes a comparative study about residential condition of the planning and dwelling stage through the actual condition of residence and practice the survey of residential environment, using the data from the questionnaire survey of the residents those who live in detached houses. The result of this study are summarized as follows: 1. It is desirable that the complete division of an exclusive residential district and the residential district that the area available mixed use should be considered form the planning stage. 2. It is necessary that a complete management to keep the parking-plan and scenic beauty. 3. It should be considered that securing facilities for crime prevention, and also making a plan to cultural and sports facilities.
