      • 開口形 隔壁을 갖는 상자형에 대한 實驗的 硏究

        Box Girder is the popular bridge type for long span or curved bridges because of its structural advantage on torsional stiffness. It has been the practice of designers to provide diaphragms in these boxes but often the position and strength of the diaphragms has been determined arbitrarily rather than on any well founded basis. The presence of diaphragms in the box introduces some additional dead load, but this effect is not likely to be a serious factor in the design. The analysis on this thesis expanded that analogy for BEF and was able to calculate warping stresses, distortion stressesand displacement of each point according to the position of diaphragms. And this method was verified accuracy of result as compared with the experimental result. The experimental results of the model box girder proved the effective value of the analysis on this thesis, and behavior of box girders that was measured by eccentric load showed up aspects of displacements, strains of each point according to the load size.

      • QUAL2E 모델에 의한 남강댐 상류하천의 장래수질 예측

        A water quality of the upper stream in the Nam river dam was simulated by QUAL2E Model. The Simulated constituents were BOD, DO and SS. The change of water quality in 2001 and 2006 were predicted to evaluate the pollutant load contribution. The conclusion which is obtained from this study are as follows: 1. From the simulation of water quality of the upper stream in the Nam river dam in 1996 using QUAL2E Model, the BOD concentration in Gyeong-Ho river was 0.98mg/l~ 2.88mg/l with the exception of the most upper stream, and the water quality in down stream was more polluted than that in upper stream by 0.28mg/l~1.0mg/l. The BOD concentration in the Duk-Chun river was 0.98mg/l~ 2.88mg/l 2. The BOD concentration in the Gyeong-Ho and Duk-Chun river in 2001, 2006 was predicted to be over 1.37mg/l~3.40 and 1.59mg/l~3.93mg/l, respectively.

        In this study. Exponential distribution parameter was estimated by MOM(Method of Moments), PWM(Method of Probability Weighted Moments), MLE(Method of Maximum Likelihood Estimation), ENT(Method of Entropy) and LEAS(Method of Least Squares) for Monte Carlo generated samples. The performance of these estimators was statistically compared, with the objective of identifying the most robust estimator from amongst them.

      • 가스터빈엔진용 축류압축기의 공력 설계 기법개발 및 적용

        The aerodynamic design system of the axial-flow compressors for the large-scaled industrial gas turbines was developed using the conventional methods. The current design procedure is composed of the four separate program modules; i.e., 1) preliminary design 2) computation of the aero-thermal properties using the streamline curvature method, 3) determination of the blade profiles and 4) the estimation of the full-stage compressors at the off-design conditions. Using this design systems, the aerodynamic design was performed for the six-stage LP compressor for 100 MW class industrial engines. The aero-thermal conditions for the full-stage and full-span blade design was computed and the detail design of the first rotor blade was performed. The LPC engine performance at the variable speedline and flow rates are predicted using the simple meanline stage-stacking methods. In addition, the conceptual design of the LPC components including the inlet flow passage and the exit turning vane to the intercooler was done for the mechanical design as the future work.

      • 퍼지AHP방법에 의한 용도지역 지정 및 변경 지원 시스템 구축

        The purpose of this paper is to make decision process of deciding or changing zoning designation easier and objective. The reason this kind of research is important is that the decision making or changing process of zoning designation has been influenced by administrative officials, although they are neither experts nor having much knowledge about zoning. So, the necessity of supporting system to help decision making process based on experts' knowledge, especially in local governments which lack the experts about urban and regional planning. For this purpose, AHP(Analysis Hierarchy Process) and Fuzzy theory are introduced. Being different from existing AHP method, this paper uses Fuzzy theory in calculating weights of evaluation items. Through the application of this method to Chinju city, 3 example areas are concluded that two areas be changed into Mixed-residential area, and the rest one be changed into neighborhood commercial area.

      • 우주용 히트파이프의 열부하에 따른 성능실험 및 해석

        In this study, analysis and experiment are made for the thermal performance in spacecraft heat pipes. The mathematical models of two-phase flow in spacecraft heat pipe are presented for heat transfer limitations in steady state. Heat pipe used in this study has one evaporator, condenser and adiabatic section respectively. Experiments are performed in steady state with constant operating temperature maintained. Experimental data are presented for wall temperature versus axial length, heat transport factor versus operating temperature, and heat transport factor versus elevation respectively. Maximum heat transport factors are obtained for each of operating temperatures. Finally, Analytical predictions of the maximum heat transport factor are compared with those of experimental data.

      • 전달행렬에 의한 비축대칭 하중을 받는 원통형 쉘의 해석

        The axisymmetric elements have a wide range of applications in various fields of engineering. An axisymmetric shell structure can be idealized by a series of conical frustum-shaped elements. This element was first suggested by Grafton and Stome and later it was extended by Percy. Using elements of revolution, this single element has two ring nodes. Considering Axisymmetric shell subjected to axisymmetric load, the displacement vector for each node contains axial movements, radial movements and rotation. For the case of nonaxisymmetric loads, however, an additional displacement component in the circumferential direction is involved. These nodal loads and displacements can be expanded in Fourier series and due to the orthogonality of harmonic function, the three-dimensional solution is one-dimensional solutions. And this research brought the transfer matrix method to implement to the shell structure analysis. The transfer matrix method is very useful to reduce the size of matrix. To avoid the difficult derivation of the transfer matrix from displacement equations, this researcher derived the transfer matrix from the stiffness matrix in finite element method. The most significant reason of this research is taking out the a few number of simultaneous equations for analysing the shell structure, specially Cylinderical shell under nonaxisymmetric load.

      • 전달행렬에 의한 탄성지반에 놓인 축대칭 원추-원통형 탱크 해석

        Even though there are many analysis methods of circular tanks on elastic foundation, the finite element method requires a number of memory spaces computation time to solve large stiffness equations, In this study many the simplified methods are applied to analyze a cone-cylinder tank on elastic foundation. By the given analysis methods, direct stiffness method and foundation matrix method, the con-cylinder tank was transformed into the skeletonized frame structure. The frame structure was drivided into several finite elements. The stiffness matrix of a finite element is related with the transfer matrix of the element. Thus, the transfer matrix of each finite element utilized the transfer matrix method to simplify the analysis of the tank. There were no significant difference in the results of two methods, the finite element method and the transfer matrix method. The transfer matrix method applied to a circular tank on elastic foundation resulted in four simultaneous equations to solve completely

      • 中小都市의 都心再開發 對象區域 選定 : 晋州市 都心部를 中心으로 Focused on Chinju City

        The latest amendment of the urban renewal law makes urban renewal possible for all cities. So local cities like Chinju can make urban renewal plan. But the present law have no detail standards and can't select renewal zone. And one more problem that the present law has is that some standards ca be applied to large cities only. Therefore a case study was performed on Chinju City. From these view points, the purpose of this study is to designate appropriate urban renewal zone and suggest designation standards which reflects the characteristics of local cities. The procedure is as follows. Data was collected. Variables related with urban renewal were investigated. And thirteen physical variables were selected. Then urban renewal zone was designated by statistical analyses. Urban renewal zone was designated by the results of factor analysis and cluster analysis. Through the field survey, zones including public facilities and undevelopable areas were excepted. As result, nine urban renewal zone were designated. And this study is expected to help establishing the redevelopment master plan and renewal guideline(code) in local cities.

      • 소규모 선형계획모형을 위한 한글내장형 S/W GNULP의 개발

        In this paper, we introduce a software developed for solving Linear Programming(LP) models, GNULP, which can be appropriate for Korean introducers of LP in learning and/or case studies. For this educational purpose, GNULP has several features as follows: LINDO input format is an allowed input format to read data used in other LP software. Pull-down menu-driven and Hangul built-in system is adapted for user friendliness. It has a function of interfacing external editors(eg. edit.com in MS-DOS) so there is no need to learn a new editor in this software. An algorithm used in GNULP is the revised simplex method with the upper bound technique so that up to 100 functional constraints excluding upper bound constraints can be dealt with this software. This size is also adequate for case studies.
