안전동기의 선행요인과 결과요인의 관계 : 중소기업을 중심으로

본 연구Zohar(1980)의 논물을 효시로 산업안전에 대하여 조직적 내지 관리론적 접근이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 산업안전에 대한 접근을 바탕으로 경기도 및 강원 영서 지역 제조업체에 종사하는 643명의 근로자를 대상으로 조사하였다. 실증분석은 안전분위기의 5개 구성요소(안전지식, 안전태도, 업무부담, 경영층몰입, 예방활동)와 안전동기의 관계와, 안전동기와 안전참여간의 관계를 고찰하며, 그리고 이러한 관계가 연령수준에 따라 어떤 차이가 있는 가를 위계적 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 검증하였다. 분석결과 안전지식, 안전태도, 경영층몰입, 예방활동은 안전동기와 안전참여 활동에 긍정적 영향을 미치며, 업무부담은 안전동기와 안전참여에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 안전동기는 안전분위기의 모든 구성요소(안전지식, 안전태도, 업무부담, 경영층몰입, 예방활동)와 안전참여간이 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났으나, 완전매개보다는 부분매개의 비중이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 안전분위기와 안전동기의 관계에서 연령의 조절효과를 분석한 결과 업무부담이 클수록 안전동기가 약화되며, 이러한 경향은 고연령층에 비하여 저연령층에서는 현저하게 나타났다. 안전동기와 안전참여간의 관계에서는 연령의 조절효과가 검증되지 않았다. With Zohar(1980)'s research on safety climate and industrial safety, occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of organizational context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between individual/ organizational factors and occupational accidents. Based on the responses from 643 manufacturing workers, this paper reviewed the relationships among antecedents(safety knowledge, safety attitudes, job load, management commitment and safety precaution activity), safety motivation and safety participation. The results of statistical analysis showed that job load made a negative effect on safety motivation and participation behavior, and other climate factors have affirmative effects on them.
Neal, Griffin, and Hart 안전분위기 모형의 실증적 적용에 관한 연구

Zohar(1980) began to emphasize the influence of social, organizational or psychological context in occupational safety and health study. With this research trend, Neal, Griffin, and Hart(2000) developed sequential model of safety climate. This paper tried to review their model of relationships among safety climates, safety knowledge, safety motivation, and safety performance(safety compliance and safety participation). Based on the responses from 207 manufacturing workers, this paper reviewed the proposed relationships. The results of statistical analysis showed that leadership has affirmative effects on safety knowledge and motivation, and precaution activities only on safety knowledge, safety system only on safety motivation. And also, safety knowledge and motivation have affirmative effect on safety compliance and participation.
종업원 임파워먼트와 서비스품질의 관계 및 재직기간의 조절효과

With the increase in family income in Korea and the improving quality of life, there is a rapid growth in the restaurant industry. Therefore there is a demand for quality service in this industry. This paper reviews the relationship between service quality and the degree of employee empowerment. The first objective of this research is to test the effects of employee empowerment on service quality, and the second one is to test how tenure affects this relationship. According to statistical analysis, meaning, competency, and autonomy generally have an affirmative impact on many service quality factors. Also the results of regression analysis to test the moderation effect show that long term employees are more sensitive to autonomy than short term employees.

Job stress weakens physical ability causing the diseases related to working condition, decreases a production level, and increases mistakes and accidents. This study examined the relationship between job stress and human error, and focused on the moderating effect of age and maintenance type on the relationship between job stress and human error. The study used a quantitative design based on the 450 questionnaires of maintenance personnel in the Air force. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that physiological and psychological stress responses have positively related with human error. In moderating effect test, age appeared to impact on the relationship between physiological/behavioral stress and human error.

Under fierce competitive, mass customized, and rapidly changing international environment, every nation is desperately seeking to enhance competitive advantage of nation. One of the promising and attractive alternative is to build concentrated industrial and/or research cooperation system, which are aiming at close linkage among governments, universities, research institutes and corporations to innovate new technology and products, transfer and commercialize such technology and products, and venture and incubate small businesses, etc. It has been a long recognition that Kangwon-do is military and consumption city because of its geographical location. But, it is high time to show the world that Kangwon-do is the hub center for transportation, charges low utility, provides well established telecommunication networks, serves one-stop administration, and has a number of well reputative universities. To achieve new industrial development, it is imperative that we build close cooperative system among academics, industry and government.

The industrial structure of Wonju has several problems. At first the Secondary sector is still relatively small and the industrial growth remains at a low level. Moreover the most firms of the secondary sector are very small-sized and their financial situations are very difficult. The number of employees is under 200 in case of most companies, and there are only three companies, which employ over 200 people. The share of tertiary sector is large, but its linkage to other sectors is not supposed to be strong. Under fierce competitive, mass customized, and rapidly changing international environment, every nation is desperately seeking to enhance competitive advantage of nation. One of the promising and attractive alternative is to build concentrated industrial estate or complex which is aiming to create jobs and vitalize regional economy. There are 4 industrial estates in Wonju province(2 regional estates and 2 agro-industrial estates). Although the average size of 4 estates is larger than one of the other estates in Kangwon province, it is much lower than the average size of this nation. Therefore the strong impact is necessary to foster growth of the secondary sector, and to enhance the linkages between all the sectors. In this respect building the Wonju Technopark is recommendable, for this project can stimulate start-ups of many venture enterprises in specialized technology sectors. Additionally it is necessary to attract investments of large companies, for large enterprises play many decisive roles in regional economic growth. Large enterprises have functions of manpower pool, mean buyer for many small-and medium-sized enterprises, supplier for informations and know-hows.
