Recently, many researches were performed to enhance fuel efficiency using GPS and ITS information. That way calculate the optimum speed for economic driving using the driving path and the SAS(Speed Assistance System), including CSA(Curve Speed Assistance), SSA(Slope Speed Assistance) and ISA(Intelligent Speed Assistance). This paper deals with the effect of the amount of information about driving path on the optimum speed and the fuel consumption. The simulation for analysis was performed using the DHIL(Driver Hardware-In-the-Loop) simulator developed through the previous research.

The recently established ISO 21448 International Standard presents a systematic development process to eliminate unreasonable risks caused by performance limits of perception sensors, lack of judgement and control functions, and predictable driver misuse. In this paper, a simulation-based HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) Test Bench is constructed to analyze the perception performance limits of a camera sensor, which is one of the core sensors in autonomous vehicles. The HIL Test Bench is configured to enable real camera sensors to perceive driving images from a virtual driving simulation tool using the OTA (Over the Air) method. It experimentally analyzes performance limits, focusing on triggering conditions such as snow, rain, fog and other scenarios that induce a degradation in the perception performance of the camera sensor.
